“The food was so good but it was STUPID expensive. They do not provide anywhere near the atmosphere to accommodate the price. The girl who took our order was so rude. I asked if I could split my payment cash/card and she said it was a hassle. ok.. slight problem but, no tip. Then, while waiting for my order, she and her boyfriend start making out and talking about smoking grass and ignored the next couple waiting to order for like five minutes. She then started smack talking the chef of color who was so nice and cooked excellent food. Two burgers, an 8oz clammy clam chowder and two shakes on top of that experience made my pockets feel so dry at 36$. Wish I would've gone on a movie date instead with my extra change...”

“I genuinely cannot praise the staff at Mountain Wellness Bar enough! I went through Flight Attendant training at the Salt Lake City airport, many miles away from my home in Florida. For 32 consecutive days, I lived in a nearby hotel with no kitchen, and absolutely did not have the time (nor money, nor desire) to order from restaurants the entirety of my stay. With only a mini fridge at my disposal, I was unable to use the more common meal prep/delivery services like Hellofresh. This is how I found Mountain Wellness Bar's meal delivery service. Mountain Meals was an absolute lifesaver. The food was SO fresh and delicious, and the menu was well-curated. I wanted to maintain some semblance of "health" in my diet, and they DELIVERED. (Literally and figuratively!) I am not personally gluten-free, but I noticed an immense reduction in my "mid-afternoon crash" when removing it. I could rave about the menu and how great all the food was for paragraphs, but what I would really like people to know is how incredible the service was! From the moment of my initial inquiry, I always received extremely quick responses, and excellent communication. Not only did they work with me to devise a meal plan that would work with my training schedule and personal needs, but they even went out of their delivery radius to get my meals to me! I would be at the airport/training facility during most hours of the day, and they always delivered my meals exactly when expected, and went above and beyond to work with me to ensure the front desk staff at the hotel could accommodate the drop-offs by refrigerating items if I would not be able to retrieve them promptly. Everything was labeled with stickers and I even got snacks and some juices, too! My meals were always delivered in insulated bags, and I was so thrilled that they would allow me to exchange the empty bags via the hotel front desk so I didn't continue to hoard a pile in my limited-space room. The only feedback for improvement I would like to see is an alternative to plastic packaging. Though the containers are microwave safe (and potentially dishwasher safe?) I simply don't throw plastic in the landfill and would love to see this plastic waste reduced. Another suggestion would be a container-return program/service. If I lived in Utah, I would absolutely continue to use this service. Mountain Wellness Bar and the Mountain Meals service is top-notch, and I could not recommend it enough!”

“Service was amazing - favorite restaurant now by far ! Waitress was on top of everything- friendly and personable took time to talk and welcome you ! The owner (as we asked our waitress who he was) was making sure all his customers were enjoying their food and evening - he made sure everyone was served fast and if not he made sure they have a freebie on him ! He definitely made an impression on us ! It changed the whole atmosphere of the restaurant! I have never been to a place that made you feel so welcomed! The food was so presentable and so delicious! They definitely have chefs that know how to cook ! Worth every penny spent ! We will be back for sure! And i recommend the spinach artichoke dip !”

“The Roonies team went above and beyond for our high school family graduation party. We ordered 50 popsicles/ice cream sandwiches and were able to also get the Icicle Bicycle to be at our event to be the whimsical experience for self-serve treats. This display was a HUGE hit and the ice cream was thoroughly enjoyed by all as a special perk. The folks at Roonies went out of their way to deliver everything and support a Sunday evening schedule. We also had so much fun buying extra Roonies treats in advance to taste test all of the options. We so appreciate the personal attention, kindness and quality of our experience. This all contributed to a happy, harmonious and delicious celebration for our family and guests. I'm so glad that Roonies is based in our local community because we can't wait to keep eating and promoting them. Such good people! Thank you SO much!”

We made the mistake of not reading the preparation instructions to leave the pizzas out of the fridge for an hour before baking so we ended up eating an hour later than planned - but the wait was worth it. They were delicious and had the perfect ratio of all the various ingredients.”

“I sent my sons inside Heber subway to get a large order, on some of the sandwiches they missed bacon and cheese. I returned with one of my sons for new sandwiches. Nathan said he came in to work towards the end of my order and was very apologetic and made me new sandwiches. He was very professional and understanding. Victor on the other hand was very upset throwing vegetables on the sandwich and had big attitude. On a side note, he also never uses the white paper when he wraps up the sandwiches. Please let Victor know that he should express his distain AFTER the customer leaves. Another lady was inside eating, who also had the bacon forgotten by Victor. Props to Nathan again for being extremely professional. I am giving 4 stars for Nathan's professionalism even though he was not the one who messed it up, however if it was only based on Victor 1 star would be given (major attitude). I can't give 5 stars since there was a mistake but Nathan was worth getting 4 stars. Thanks so much Nathan, take a chill pill Victor.”

“I love you guys so much!!!!!!!!!! I came here two and a half years ago, and this is one of my first restaurants. We have been regular customers for two years, every week, every 3 days, my husband, my 2-year-old child and I go there (not a single incident has happened!!!!!!!!!!) I am pregnant for the second time, I went there all two pregnancies and will go with my family!!!! I recommend this restaurant, 5 stars out of five, a nice and cozy and calm place, cheerful waitresses, they always cheer me up, my daughter adores these people, I repeat, I ate here all two pregnancies, and everything is wonderful! “A huge shout out to Arby's in Heber. I stopped with my boys and and after ordering I realized I had left my debit card home. I asked if they took a check and they don't. I asked the order taker to just cancel the order and the manager came up behind her and said she would cover it. She trapped a couple keys and said we are square. What a blessing. Thank you! I'll stop here every time we come thru from now on...with $$$ :D”

“I’m usually not a fan of eating outdoors, especially in Utah. It’s too hot, too windy, and too bright. However, we sat outside and it ended up being an incredible experience. The breeze off the lake was nice and cool, and our server, Miguel, made every effort to make our time enjoyable and comfortable. Speaking of Miguel, he was so accommodating and patient with our questions and requests. Get him as a server if you can. We had the burrata plate, the blackberry salad, the pork tenderloin, and the stroganoff. Everything was excellent. The bread on the burrata plate had been grilled (why have I never thought to do that before?!) and added a nice char to go with y cheese and pickled cherries. The salad was fresh and sweet, arugula is always the right choice for a sweet salad. Our main entrees were exceptional as well. The pork was tender and juicy and pared well with the coconut rice and Brussels sprouts—which came in an amazing chili sauce (think Thai-style). The beef in the stroganoff was so soft and melted with the sauce and noodles. For such a basic dish it really felt elevated. All in all, a good experience and worth the three dollar signs.”
