“I had an amazing meal at Tsunami Restaurant & Sushi Bar in Union Heights and just have to give it 5 stars. The food was awesome and really stood out in both taste and how it was served. Our waitress, Deanne, was fantastic - she was friendly, knew a lot about the menu, and made our visit really special. The place has a great vibe too, making you feel right at home. I’d tell anyone to go check it out. Big thanks to Deanne and everyone there for such a great experience!“

“We really enjoyed our evening. We ordered 2 or 3 items at a time til we were full. Not rushed, great knowledge of the menu. Fun intimate atmosphere bit a little noisy sometimes.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and our server was very knowledgeable. He brought my husband the sauces on the side that I couldn't have. It was a great experience on 700 east.“

“This place is chic, service is exceptional and sushi is fresh and delicious. We ordered toro sashimi, Stargazer and mercury roll, but when the toro came it was a grayish white color which had us worried. Everyone who loves sushi knows that Toro is supposed to be pink... but the waitress was really really helpful. She not only asked the kitchen staff about the reason for the color, she also returned the dish back to the kitchen after we said we didn't want it. We then ordered a wagyu steak fearing for their fish quality, but the rest of the sushi rolls were amazing with big chunks of juicy sashimi inside. I'm pretty sure Stargazer had bluefin tuna on the topping. The wagyu was delicious as well. cooked to perfection for both the meat and the lightly battered tempura asparagus. Over all pretty satisfying experience. I hope the toro sashimi was just a random error. Coming back to try more next time!“

“I visit Mint 2 when I am in SLC every time, and the food is never disappointed.My favorite food is Lollipop Lamb Chops, wagyu steak, and sashimi platter. I have to say walu sashimi (they call Hawaii white tuna) is the best of best.The staff there are very helpful as well.Parking is very convenient.“

Drinks on point.Make a reservation and sit at the communal tables and enjoy a fun night with new friends. Get the pear salad, it pairs well with the chicken wings and curry dip.Will be back again and loving the neighborhood off 900s these days.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this place. Food and drinks are always on point. You have to get ice cream at the end because the chef is always making delicious ice cream. Staff is always knowledgeable and kind. We love going here for date nights or bringing friends from out of town. Can't wait to go back.“

“We found this place looking for an alternative to the trendy, overpriced, and overrated sushi places we typically go to in Salt Lake City.So happy we did. This place is a gem, with outstanding quality and attention to details, all at a reasonable price. The service was exceptional too.I did not try the ramen, but I strongly recommend the sushi / sashimi, which is possibly the best I have ever had.This is definitely worth the slightly longer drive, and we will come back.“

We went for dinner on tapas Tuesday for our anniversary I had the charred green beans, Brussel sprouts, lentil soup, steak potatoes and carrots and the flavors were an orgasim for my taste buds“

“First and foremost, service was simply outstanding in this cozy gem. Jenny, our server, had deep knowledge of the wines available and his recommendation was perfect. We ordered the warm olives with almonds, seared zucchini, arugula and fennel citrus salad, torta espanola, steamed mussels, chicken paella and finished with almond cake. “Our friends introduced us to Pogo, and we really enjoyed it. The food has incredibly fresh flavors and textures and this should be on your "must do" list if you are a foodie and in the SLC area.Atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and welcoming. It is on the smaller side, but this adds to the coziness of the experience. Will be back soon.“

“Tin Roof Grill is one of those restaurants that you drive up and the outside appearance is deceiving. The open seating concept is awesome, however we made reservations which are recommended. The food is “ to die for” and the service is quick and friendly. Heaven the Goat Cheese Appetizer, you’ll be glad you did!!“
