“Wonderful dining experience! Ambiance is very nice. Not too noisy and tables are sufficiently far enough from the rest for good private conversation. All of our dishes were prepared perfectly. And the Goulash! So, so good! Our service was great from start to finish! Can't say enough about this great find - we will be returning again for sure!“

“My wife and I are new to the St. George area and we looked around for a special restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We decided on the Painted Pony and we were so pleased that we did. Everything about the Painted Pony spoke to quality from the greeting we received at the entrance to the very pleasant waiter and most importantly the food was first class as well. We were so pleased that we returned a second time for Christmas eve. Five stars !!“

“If you want a memorable dining experience with great food and a spectacular view, this place is for you. As its name implies, Cliffside sits atop a cliff, with beautiful views of St. George, its bluffs, and the mesas and mountains beyond. The food and staff were as great as the view.“

She was helpful, responsive and a delight to talk with. This is in a complex.Kid-friendliness: There were several families and they were being taken care of and enjoying the meal. They have coloring pages and crayons.“

“I'd give it 10 stars if I could! Amazing food, fast service and the best attitudes ever. Josh B. was awesome as our server and host. We sat outside on the patio and it was perfect. It's a hidden gem in St George, UT!Also, didn't realize the varieties of food (breakfasts, appetizers, burgers, salads and so much more beyond pork items). Highly suggest!Trying the cobbler next time!“

“I was raised blocks from In-N-Out location number 1 in Baldwin Park CA, Food has always been consistently great. Service from employees that showcase customer satisfaction. Atmosphere? Always clean and employees and customers faces tell the story. Baldwin Park was a drive through with some shaded benches. Trivia...if you were from the area and came from a drag racing family you were thrilled when In-N-Out built a unit at the finish line at Irwindale Raceway. Best food. Best memories and outstanding employees.“

“We were a bit apprehensive about walking in because the restaurant is in a strip center behind a gas station. Thankfully we didn't let that stop us because the food here is wonderful. The decor is simple and there are only two individuals working, the chef and a young lady. As soon as we were seated the chef came out and told us a bit of his story and explained how the menu worked. It's prix fixe, with either four or five courses. Take my advice-do the five courses. First was a platter of burrata caprese, with burrata made by the chef and a delicious balsamic glaze over fresh basil and sweet tomatoes. Next my husband had a Caesar salad but I had an amazing truffle and shrimp ravioli which I'm now dreaming about! We ordered the rack of lamb and a Delmonico steak which the chef showed us before he cooked them so that we could see the marbling and quality. He served them as well, saying they would taste better than any meats we'd ever eaten. AND HE WAS RIGHT! He gets an awesome crust on his meat and it's served ONLY medium rare, which we were happy about. Although served simply with no sides, I would drive from Las Vegas again just to eat that rack of lamb. Dessert was a housemade tiramisu which was perfect. When we left, the chef hugged us and chatted for a few minutes and we left knowing we had had one of the best dinners ever.“

“Had a decent dinner at George's the other night. The vibes were lively, and it was pretty bustling, which probably explains why the service was on the slower side—but nothing too frustrating. Our server was super pleasant though, which made the wait more bearable. The food was mostly hits with a couple of misses. The fries were standout good—I could've eaten a whole bucket! The drinks were solid too, definitely kept us happy while we waited for our mains. The lamb burger was a bit of a letdown, though; it was kind of plain and could have used a bit more flavor or toppings. The sandwiches were alright but could've done with a bit more meat packed in them. On the upside, the prices didn’t make my wallet cry, which is always a plus. Would go back to give it another try, maybe on a less busy night to see if the service speeds up!“

“Solid choice of restaurant. The food was delivered fresh and tasty. The highlight of our meal was the DIRTY GIRL, it's made of the perfect blend of coffee and peanut butter flavors. I would describe it as a milkshake version of a latte. The place was clean and it had a fun ambiance. However, my visit left me with mixed feelings, primarily due to the rather odd interaction we had with the hostess regarding our service dog. While I understand that some establishments have protocols in place regarding service animals, the barrage of questions we faced felt unnecessary and almost accusatory. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by the hostess, only to be immediately bombarded with inquiries about our service dog. While I appreciate diligence in ensuring compliance with regulations, the sheer number of questions made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were being interrogated or doubted. It's important to note that our service dog is legitimate, and we have never encountered such thorough questioning before. Although I didn't take issue with providing necessary information about our service dog, the manner in which it was done left much to be desired. It felt as though there was a strange agenda behind the interrogation, rather than a genuine concern for compliance. Despite this initial discomfort, I must commend the restaurant on other aspects of our experience. S/o to our Neil-Patrick-Harris-look-a-like service, he was phenomenal! He was extremely welcoming and helpful! Along with other of the servers, they provided us with valuable insights and tips for hiking in the area!“

“Been here twice now and both times have been fantastic. Let me start with the service. The friendliest Food Service employees you will ever encounter. They are always eager to help, have a smile on their face and are so pleasant to speak with. The food is fantastic. I have had the A1 steak burger and the Cajun burger; both were exceptional, although I prefer the cajun. We had a chocolate brownie shake after our meal, which was out of this world good. The only reason I didn't give the atmosphere five stars is because there is so little seating and the restaurant is very busy at lunch and dinner time. It would be nice to see them expand and increase their seating capacity. We will definitely be back, regardless.“

“Traveling thru St George and stopped here for dinner. It was hard to choose what to try because there are so so many options (almost a bit too overwhelming). We ended up ordering the shareable loaded bacon cheese fries (can't remember the official name of this plate) and burgers all around. Our server Kayla was really nice and explained the items we asked about, clearly. I will say, they did seem understaffed. Service got a little slow mid way thru but the servers were stretched thin. About the food, every bite was mouth watering. I have no complaints about anything. Our burgers were perfectly cooked. The flavor was just right. Everything was super fresh and filling! I'd come here again for sure.“

“Mother of all pie places. Look no further! Delicious to the taste, sight & smell this place is. Flaky, perfect tasting/looking crusts are the norm and pie selection impressive. The people who work there love their jobs too! Long live the perfect pie!“

“The absolute go to for a home town diner feel and taste. The cinnamon rolls are out of this world (a lot of their food is). My ONLY complaint is their generic Folgers coffee is terrible! They need to drop Folgers' and find a local brewer.“

“We stopped here on our way to Disneyland. This Monday morning (10AM), this place was packed but we were seated Immediately. Staff was very attentive. Pancakes can feed two people. I had over-easy eggs and they came out perfect. Hash browns were a hit with the family. Gravy and biscuits were pretty bland and the strawberry ice tea was a bit too sweet. Will eat here again on our return home.“

“Little disappointed that not everything on the menu was gluten-free. However, the food was tasty, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Felt it was a little pricey, considering the food offerings available, but overall I would recommend giving it a try.Vegetarian options: Not everything on the menu is vegetarian, but they will prepare any dish to be.“

“The only negative I can say is that the service is so good that all of our food came out so quickly we finished dinner in 30 minutes. We were hoping for an experience that lasted a little longer so we would have liked our food to come out more staggered. But it was all delicious.“

“We don't get to Anasazi often, maybe because when we do go we can't stop eating. The cheese fondue, the chocolate for dessert -- for us the entree is often an afterthought. On this trip we started with the gruyere and onion fondue. We love the variety of vegetables and fruit for dipping. We forced ourselves to hold back, retaining an appetite for the salmon, which was prepared beautifully. No dessert this time, though from past experience we know you can't go wrong with chocolate fondue. Oversll, an enjoyable meal.“
