“We were visiting my Father at the Ivins Veteran’s Home and wanted a nice meal without driving back to St. George. My entire family was blown away by the food and the care with which it was made. My adult children have eaten all over the world and are “foodies”. We all agreed that this was the best restaurant we had ever eaten at. Don’t come in if you are looking for inexpensive but it was worth every penny.“
“We went to Canyon Breeze restaurant at the Red Mountain Resort last night with a party of 7. The whole evening was delightful. The menu has improved and the service was friendly, knowledgeable and because it was busy, it was timed and explained. The Cocktail menu was very creative and the wine and beer selection was very good. We had 2 dishes of shareable plates and the taste and presentation was worthy and delicious. The main course I had was the Salmon and it was beautifully presented, delicious and filling. We will be back….“
“Neither my husband or I have had a salad more delicious than the Cesar salad we opened up our delicious meal with. The service was excellent, I'm convinced we wouldn't have eaten so deliciously without our lovely server's recommendations. The ambiance was amazing, the pianist played "first kiss" for us. We will be returning soon!“
“I like the atmosphere of that restaurant, lost among that cluster of disparate food establishments. We were promptly seated, chose a well aged Spanish Rioja 2012 and placed our order. The diligent waitress delivered some nice “no knead bread”probably a mix of corn and wheat flour with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The carrot/Jalapeño pepper soup with crispy toast was excellent. My curried mussels, reminiscent of the French Charente mouclade, was enjoyable, although the mussels sea flavour had to fight the over powering coconut milk and its sweetness. The boeuf short ribs, just meat, no bone, was well braised, delicious! The grilled brine pork chop (requested rosé) was well done, a bit too dry, bland despite the brining. The tomato relish smoked flavour had vanished by the time it reached our table, the stuffed bleu cheese, of unknown pedigree, and the pear flavour had to fight for existence with the cinnamon spice. The cornbread pudding was pleasant. It puzzled me that a so well aged bottle of wine was not delivered and opened with a bit more careful etiquette, luckily there was no deposit and may be smelling the cork would ensure the wine is not corked. We love the Frette napkins we had noticed during our pre-covid dinner, a sign of class but the food and service was down graded a couple of notches compared to the experience with the last owners. Maybe youth has to mature a bit, still a nice experience….“
“Our last night in Santa Clara did not disappoint! We called 30 minutes ahead to see if we could make a reservation and Brian happily accommodated us. The food was amazing! My boyfriend said it was one of the top three steaks he’s ever had… and he doesn’t say that lightly. The Black Forest cake was a must. Brian was super friendly and we will definitely be back again on our next desert trip!“
“If you want a memorable dining experience with great food and a spectacular view, this place is for you. As its name implies, Cliffside sits atop a cliff, with beautiful views of St. George, its bluffs, and the mesas and mountains beyond. The food and staff were as great as the view.“
“Our waiter Benny was awesome. Very efficient and personable. We were there Wednesday. The food was great. My husband had a farmhouse skillet while i had million dollar bacon and little donuts. The skillet was fabulous. The bacon..there are no words..so flavorful and crispy. Will order every time. The donuts were ok., will not order again. We are looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.“
“This was our first time going to Porkbelly’s. It was clean and the service was amazing!! Josh was our server and did an excellent job! I have a nut allergy and he went and doubled checked for me to make sure the dessert we wanted was nut free!!! The owners, Keri and Charlie came around to our table and was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. They were very kind and welcoming. We also got to talk to the kitchen manager, Andrew. We definitely will be going back when we are in St. George again. We highly recommend going!!!“
“W EATS!!! We got 2 classic burgers, fries, cajun tots, and drinks for $22. Super competitive price to me and we were both FULL after. Definitely coming back here again. The classic burger was so good... so simple and these guys have mastered it. The burger comes saucy which I like saucy burgers so it hit the spot. The only thing that could've made this burger better was a little thicker more stable bun to be able to handle all that sexy sauce“
“Food is amazing! The Sticky Finger Mac and Cheese is actually from heaven. It’s the perfect blend of cheesy, creamy, sweet, and salty. We also got the Rosemary Garlic Fries and those blew me out of the water! Definitely a go-to appetizer for us from now on! The portions are also huge and worth the price as I get 2 or 3 meals out of the one bowl.Atmosphere is awesome! I love the vibe of this place and it’s usually not too busy which we like. The food came out within 10 minutes and was nice and hot.We also had the most amazing waiter! Sam was awesome and attentive but not too hover-y. He kept an eye on us and kept us supplied with beer, which was an A plus.Would recommend anyone to come to this restaurant for their good food and wonderful waitstaff!“
“Tonight we enjoyed Rooster blood orange IPA draft beers. We ordered the stuffed jalapenos, a corn dog, 2 fish tacos and the garlicky green beans. Finishing off with the potted banana cream pie. The staff is always super fun and accessible. We truly enjoyed Julia and Annie.“
“Typical chain restaurant. Food was good but nothing special. We had gone for the all you can eat ribs advertised on TV but the promotion had ended. Our server Kaylie was very friendly, and took good care of us. Our table was directly behind the check in podium, it was kind of like eating in a fish bowl. Otherwise it was great.“
“Great little food place in the industrial side of town with decent coffee and sandwiches. Prices are fair too which is appreciated in today's economy. It has a drive thru which is super convenient. The baristas are really nice as well, I've become a regular here!“
“Dubs pulled pork sandwiches are the yummiest. The young man who took my order was nice and very quick and by the time I arrived at the restaurant my food was ready to go. I have never had anything but great service and great food from this restaurant.“
“The absolute go to for a home town diner feel and taste. The cinnamon rolls are out of this world (a lot of their food is). My ONLY complaint is their generic Folgers coffee is terrible! They need to drop Folgers' and find a local brewer.“
“Just ran into this place by accident while picking up some dinner form chipotle next door. I was amazed at the variety, great service, I got the dirty dozen two of each out of the 8 types of cookies they had. My favorite is the protein cookie.“
“Mother of all pie places. Look no further! Delicious to the taste, sight & smell this place is. Flaky, perfect tasting/looking crusts are the norm and pie selection impressive. The people who work there love their jobs too! Long live the perfect pie!“
“Little disappointed that not everything on the menu was gluten-free. However, the food was tasty, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Felt it was a little pricey, considering the food offerings available, but overall I would recommend giving it a try.Vegetarian options: Not everything on the menu is vegetarian, but they will prepare any dish to be.“
“We don't get to Anasazi often, maybe because when we do go we can't stop eating. The cheese fondue, the chocolate for dessert -- for us the entree is often an afterthought. On this trip we started with the gruyere and onion fondue. We love the variety of vegetables and fruit for dipping. We forced ourselves to hold back, retaining an appetite for the salmon, which was prepared beautifully. No dessert this time, though from past experience we know you can't go wrong with chocolate fondue. Oversll, an enjoyable meal.“
“Seriously, the biscuits and gravy are absolutely incredible…. Mouthwatering….. I love em so much ! Even the egg is cooked to perfection . Delicious! You guys are My new favorite, the building is gorgeous. The only thing is the parking lot is a little ridiculous… other than that, food is delicious. ?“
“My husband and I were so excited to go out for a steak dinner for our 25th Anniversary! We waited two months to go, so that we could go while vacationing in St. George, Utah. After a day at Snow Canyon we stopped in to have that much awaited ribeye. Ivan Z, was our server and was attentive, but not overly so, just how we like. The appetizer and drinks we great, as well. We were disappointed about the ribeye(s) though. We both had one. They were cooked correct, medium rare, but mine was tough and fatty. Not the good fat that melts with the meat and gives extra flavor, but hard to chew fat. My husbands baked potato was dry (no butter). I was ready at the beginning of our meal to order dessert, but didn't want to be disappointed any more, so we decided to go somewhere else for dessert. Not what we imagined our 25th Anniversary dinner to be. Big bummer. Pictured, is the portion of my 12 oz. Ribeye that I could not eat.“
“Solid choice of restaurant. The food was delivered fresh and tasty. The highlight of our meal was the DIRTY GIRL, it's made of the perfect blend of coffee and peanut butter flavors. I would describe it as a milkshake version of a latte. The place was clean and it had a fun ambiance. However, my visit left me with mixed feelings, primarily due to the rather odd interaction we had with the hostess regarding our service dog. While I understand that some establishments have protocols in place regarding service animals, the barrage of questions we faced felt unnecessary and almost accusatory. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by the hostess, only to be immediately bombarded with inquiries about our service dog. While I appreciate diligence in ensuring compliance with regulations, the sheer number of questions made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were being interrogated or doubted. It's important to note that our service dog is legitimate, and we have never encountered such thorough questioning before. Although I didn't take issue with providing necessary information about our service dog, the manner in which it was done left much to be desired. It felt as though there was a strange agenda behind the interrogation, rather than a genuine concern for compliance. Despite this initial discomfort, I must commend the restaurant on other aspects of our experience. S/o to our Neil-Patrick-Harris-look-a-like service, he was phenomenal! He was extremely welcoming and helpful! Along with other of the servers, they provided us with valuable insights and tips for hiking in the area!“
