“When I say I love to come here I mean it. It's a bit expensive however it's definitely worth the money because of how fresh and good and delicious and all the options that you have not only for sushi but hot pot as well. I will admit the service is good however it could be better but with it getting so packed very quickly when it becomes a certain time in the night I understand. The environment is very trendy and very nice to be in I even like the small bar stools seating that they have for singles it's a very great vibe. They're waiting area is a little small for their impact audience but I'm glad they get you to put your number at the front so they text you so you don't have to wait in their small lobby. They don't take same-day reservations which is a little odd but I do understand what the capacity that they'd have This place is no means small however it's first come first served at walk-ins no same-day reservations do create complications. The first time I came here I had 10 sushi rolls That's me because I can just eat a lot but they have a very big variety of all you can eat sushi and that is usually what I go for every time I come here and every time it hits just right I highly recommend this place for birthdays and celebrations. The maximum you will spend here is $30 alone per person for all you can eat sushi plus tip. But that $30 price is not including tip. if you come here plan on spending money$$ But this place is expensive for a reason because their sushi is always fresh and the selections and variety that they have is really the bang for your bug highly highly recommend this place.“
“This is the best black noodle shop i have been to in the US.Used to live in Korea, and this kind of food was a favorite. The flavor is exactly like Korea - the 탕수육 and 짜장면 and even the 짬뽕 is all spot on for flavor. If you are new, get the black noodles first.“
“I was really hungry after some grocery shopping so I stopped in for some gimbap. I ended up getting the bulgogi gimbap and it was even better than H-Mart’s! Perfect temperature and balance of ingredients. The banchan display was a little sparse and I didn’t buy any, but it all looked so good and fresh. I should come back sometime! The man who helped me was very polite, too.“
“Ran into a friend up in Salt Lake and he introduced me to Stun Cube. It's a great little Korean restaurant. I tried the Donkatsu Kimbap. It was a great treat and I had a small bottle of aloe vera drink to enjoy with my meal. I'll have to come back up and try some more items off of the menu.#thisishowichow #donkatsu #kimbap #aloevera #fyp #saltlakecity @stuncube“
“I was impressed by the service and the sushi. It's probably tied with Sapa's for my favorite rolls in the SLC area and much quieter/less busy. They seemed understaffed when I was there (two staff members rushing around in a hurry the whole time) but managed to get everything right and with very reasonable wait times. I will be back.“
“I had such a fantastic experience at Top Pot restaurant that I would love to revisit. The food quality is exceptional, with top-tier dishes. However, I found the servers to be less attentive to my needs. The restaurant boasts great decor, but the lighting at my table was inadequate. It's the best hot pot spot I've visited in Utah so far. In my opinion, it ranks second only to K-Pot.Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator.“
“Bar Nohm is a hidden gem. My friends and I tried this place for the first time last week - one of them is visiting from DC and the other from NYC, and are real foodies - and we all loved this place. First, the ambience is excellent. warm, cozy, and comfortable, with a little hidden area by the kitchens that blocks out all the sound from the busy bar area. The colors and textures of the decor are upscale with playful details. Second, the cocktails are super fun and inventive. Third, the food is phenomenal with lots of interesting flavors and textures that provide a fun experience for anyone from the most adventurous eater to the most cautious. I highly recommend!“
“This was great food at a great price. I got a chicken and shrimp linch special and i was blown away at how well the protein was cooked. The shrimp and chicken both were cooked at the perfect temp to get a great sear with tremendous texture and flavor, yet still moist. Better than I expected and the owner/chef was soft spoken and polite. I will be back to support this restaurant.“
“This franchise place in Korea is incredibly popular, and I found that their corn dogs tasted even better than the ones I used to have in Korea. The service was excellent too. I highly recommend it, especially if you're new to this type of corn “
“Best chicken place in town. This is the place to go when I want a fried chicken fix. Beware, once you had chick queen, it will ruin all other fried chicken places for you because they will never be as good as this place.Besure to order the bone in chicken, that’s the real stuff“
“Very happy with this place. Amazing beef, good chicken. The octopus comes pre cooked and you warm it up at your table. Excited to try their soju. The waitress (manager? owner?) is very very sweet and good and fast. I cant emphasize how surprised and happy i was about finding this place.the vibes, art and music here are impeccable.Dietary restrictions: menu is free of cilantro (thank god) and very kind to my lactose intolerance.Parking: About 20 spots to park free near the restaurant.“
“Don’t sleep on this place! The food is absolutely delicious and this restaurant deserves to be completely packed! Great balance of flavors with the sweet sauce and a good zing from the dressing and pickled cabbage on the rice bowl. Also, the mandoo is FIRE! Highly recommend.“
“There aren’t very many Korean restaurants in Utah so fortunately we have this one located inside of Chinatown. I have visited Korea before and the food here is authentic and each dish tastes almost the same as restaurants in Korea. I was really craving cold noodles and this restaurant definitely satisfied my cravings. Highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic Korean experience. One thing to note is that this restaurant leans more on the pricier side.“
“I just finished eating here and let me tell you the food is so delicious! First time being here and I was really stunned about how nice the people were when it came out to my toddler being quite loud and a bit uneasy sometime. I am very glad I came it everything was fresh and as well smelled delicious! I got the Katsu chicken and rice with Mac salad with the garden salad it was very filling. So I have left overs and well for my two corn dogs! They are to die for! Yum! 10/10 would recommend to anybody as well be coming back soon! Thank you!“
“I've made a lot of authentic and fusion Korean dishes, and traveled to a lot of Korean restaurants. This place is definitely high on my list. It's a bit pricy, but you get plenty of food. And it's delicious. They've nailed the sauces and marinades.“
“It was chilly so I felt like tofu soup! Decided to try this spot after flying in late for business. I ordered the seafood tofu soup, it had shrimp, mussels, calamari. The ban chan was standard, I was hoping to get pickled cucumbers or daikon. Soup was delicious, it hit the spot. It wasn’t the best tofu soup I’ve had but it was definitely good. They didn’t provide a raw egg to crack into the soup. Back in San Diego the Tofu house has tofu soup for almost $8-10 less and they give you an egg and more side dishes. It seemed a little pricey for tofu soup which was $21. Service was great, the lady was very attentive and brought me more Kim chi.“
“We went on a Saturday, maybe an hour before closing. The restaurant was not busy, but the service was fast, attentive, and friendly. We ordered tteokbokki, haemul pajeon, and beef bulgogi. Each of us (2) received our own set of banchan. It was a good assortment (kimchi, namul, eggplant, broccoli, tofu, cucumbers, enoki mushrooms) and since we didn't use them as appetizers, it was more than enough when the food arrived.Their tteokbokki is a meal, not the traditional rice cakes and sauce snack food. As pictured it came with 5 mandu, 2 whole hard boiled eggs, ample rice cakes, and noodles to feed 4 people easily. Their sauce is fairly sweet and mildly spicy (subjective). The haemul pajeon was approximately 9" in diameter, almost 3/4" thick, and nicely crisped on both sides. Interestingly, it was slightly similar to okonomiyaki with the thickness due to cabbage inside, but it was good. The beef bulgogi was very shredded, almost masticated. It was more sweet than savory (subjective) and served in a generous, heaping portion. All food was served piping hot and within 15 minutes of ordering. The service was attentive by three different individuals and everyone was very friendly. The prices are comparable to Korean restaurants in Hawaii, so understandably people in or visiting Utah may experience sticker shock. Considering the convenience of not making an array of banchan and grilling at home, I'd return with visiting family.“
“Definitely a hole in the wall!!! Not much traffic but the food was pretty good! We really enjoyed the kphilly cheesesteak with beef the best! So yummy! The chicken bowl with the rice was pretty good, and the spicy pork with noodles was our least favorite. Everything comes with sriracha on it, so if you don’t want that, be sure to edit that when you order on the kiosk. Friendly service- you order from a kiosk so not much human interaction“
“I'm just leaving this review BEFORE I got my food cause one I already love cupbop but two this was my first time at this location and LESLIE was killing it. No offense to the other two employees cause they seemed new but she was literally running circles around them. If it wasn't for her I promise you this location would be in big trouble with the amount of traffic it gets and obviously under employed. Give this woman a raise or y'all gonna regret it if she gets another job. That's all go Leslie!“
“1 St time for me and it was An Incredible good time. A Food,Fun Friends Adventure. Bring the draw string pants. The Staff are super helpful and super friendly. And really the price is actually great if you look at all your getting.Parking: Parking right in front of door.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables will be able to add a wheelchair if needed“
“I love Cupbop! There are very few places that I randomly get cravings for, but Cupbop is one of them. I had never been to this particular one before, but was not disappointed. Delicious as ever. And the restaurant itself is very aesthetically pleasing. Impeccable. Chefs kiss.“
“Wow! Amazing customer service! I ordered the piggy bop, not realizing it would already be spicy. They remade me a dish of B bop instead, and it was SO GOOD! I’ve been unlucky with good customer service lately, but this store has restored my faith. Thank you!!! Love it!!!“
“Love Cupbop! They even have gluten free options which is amazing! Often when we do take out or door dash our orders are not correct. Also had a meal that was supposed to be gluten free that wasn’t and that didn’t make for an enjoyable day.“
“The smells drew me in, but the atmosphere made me stick around. Cool songs I can’t understand, an interesting menu filled with flavorful options, and a pretty friendly staff that seemed locked in.I ordered the seasonal “snow bop”(sauce lvl 4) and a side of mandoo; would recommend. :)Wheelchair accessibility: No automatic doors, but no stairs or weird flooring(concrete) - no threshold issues.“
“The food is great, but as a heads up the owner could be more friendly and he is quite strict with the sauces. Makes you feel the same shame you felt as a small child when you’re just trying to be independent but you’re not allowed. They also don’t offer water cups just in case this may be helpful to anyone.“
“My girlfriend and I came here after a busy black Friday and the team greeted us so kindly when we entered. The food was great and the spice level was amazing. The service was actually par to birdie honestly they realized we had a long wait time and gave us free food in order to compensate for our time. What I took away was staff is thoughtful and respectful of you.Atmosphere, it's Korean alright ?!Overall I would recommend this location highly because of the staff and atmosphere. Definitely give them a shot !“
“Very clean and open space. Ample parking, friendly staff. Seafood tofu soup ($14.99) was prepared well and tasted delicious. Wish it came out hotter, but love the fresh, warm purple rice that came with it. Side dishes were good, refills were offered. This is my go-to spot for tofu soup!“
“Ombu Grill is quite a unique eatery. Why? Because you cook your meat. You choose different meats from the menu and you cook them in front of you.The menu is wide in terms of meats to choose from.I liked their pork fried rice,it’s so delicious. One thing they can improve on is the service. The waiter that served us was kind of hurrying us because of closing time. All in all the experience is great“
“Such great food here! I used to visit more frequently when I worked nearby, but it's definitely worth a long drive. The menu has changed a little bit since Itto was added to the title. It's too bad the bilgogi sushi is no longer on the menu, but all my other favorites, including the traditional sides, are still available!“
“Service got a low star because our large group was pretty well ignored by our server on our drinks which was lame and we were there for 2 birthdays and we had to wait after being finished a long time for them to come do their birthday singing because they were very busy (was what we were told).I would Def go back with a small group and probably not for a birthday with any expectation of singing and shenanigans. They put 8 to a table which was obviously meant to sit 6 so we had to kinfld of fight for broth from the hit pots.Ok, complaints over.I love that you get your own pot of broth and they had a TON of broth options. The grill is communal and it seemed to have a hard time cooking my whole shrimps quickly and fully. They did switch out the grill plate for a clean one after we cooked a bunch of bulgogi and someone ordered spicy so it was making all our other BBQ spicy so that was good. Lots of good meat options, the sauce bar had SO many good options and the buffet bar had lots of good stuff too (but I save dall my room for the meat haha). Meat came out pretty quickly and all of it tasted great. Soda is not included in the price but sushi was (we got hot pot and BBQ, so maybe that was why. Ask your server).Again, definitely coming back with a small group to enjoy again.Atmosphere was fun! Cool little hot pot place. Go check em outVegetarian options: You can get veggies. Broth may not be vegetarian depending on option. Ask your server.“
