“I love Chipotle Mexican grill and would recommend it to everybody. but I just got a burrito through doordash from you guys that was only 4 inches long. I'm super bummed out at the idea that chipotle would be shorting people on online orders but my last few online orders have been like this. I'm really disappointed my experience“

“We had great experience at this place. It was our first time and the waitress helped customize our order, also let us sample different moles' sauces. Festive and cozy vibe and price is reasonable. The place is very busy so strongly recommend to reserve in advance.“

“How good is this place, you ask? I have been here four times in the past 29 days. It is the first place I suggest when someone visits SLC, and I want to go here for every occasion. Each time, I have tired something different, and every plate I order is delectable. It is pure tastiness. The chile verde, the mole, the taco, the nachos... everything is devine. Although they give you generous portions that rid you of any hunger, I crave the flavor immediately after finishing. The atmosphere is always fun and vibrant. The service is always top notch. This is a wonderful place to dine alone, go on a romantic date, or hold a party of 30 people. This restaurant is perfect.“

“This is easily the most astonishing Mexican resturant I have had in a long time, the food is some of the most fresh I have seen and all the food taste like it was homemade and veggies seemed fresh from the garden“
“This was a "Sweet Sixteen" party for our granddaughter with about 30 guests. The facility was an excellent place to hold any party with guests up to 50. It was still decorated for the Christmas Holidays and with the birthday additions, it was a perfect place to hold our celebration. Everyone had a grand time. Of course, since it is a party facility owned by the Red Iguana Restaurant, how can you say anything wouldn't be top notch?“

“The Birria tacos are authentic and amazing. I prefer the soft shell, but both are good. The taste is outstanding. I love that they use this Birria beef and just stick with it and nothing else. I will be going back here for Carnitas and Al Pastor. If you do not like any spice at all, this place is not for you. If you like some spice to quite a bit of spice, you will LOVE it!. The kitchen was incredibly clean, the employee was wonderful, kind, helpful and the eating area was spotless. This is a must!Parking: It is in a very small strip all next to a cycle and has plenty of parking.“

“Awesome food at this place. I'm so tired of the same old bland tex-mex food (i.e. red / blue iguana type food). This was so refreshing to eat some flavorful mexican food that wasn't so overtly americanized. The two chefs working the kitchen deserve every one of the five stars. Waiting staff was definitely understaffed unfortunately. I loved the aguachile verde, the tropical tuna ceviche, and the coconut shrimp. I definitely will be coming back.“

“I have nothing but good things to say about Alberto’s. I often forget to eat due to the stress of being alive and there is nothing better than sinking my teeth in to their breakfast burritos. Any of their burritos for that matter. But the mini bean and cheese is like half a pound and it’s $1.99. Their beans in general just go so so hard. If I were you I’d get the egg, potato, and cheese…WITH beans. Get a Diet Coke too. That’s how you make a good thing even better.“

“The salsa is awesome, like great flavor, great spice, just yummy. The chicken and cheese flautas were pretty bland which was a bummer. The servers were very attentive which was nice but the place seems cramped and the music a little too loud for the small space, especially on a busy night.“

“A great option for Mexican food in Salt Lake City. Located right downtown, call ahead before going as this place is always busy so you will be waiting. The food and service is solid. We brought a group of 19 and they were able to accommodate. Whether it is drinks or food, you won't be disappointed so order away!“

“Excellent authentic Mexican food. Service was spectacular. Didn't catch the name of the gentleman that helped us but he did an exceptional job. Small hick up on my order and he fixed immediately plus gave me a churo for the wait. Not to many places have service like that. Thanks again from “

“Now how do you rate a place that you've had the opportunity to eat at over the last 40 years. At the current time of writing this I'm very happy and grateful it's still here. The food is good ,the portions are awesome and the reminds me of better times. It's not salty , the food is close as your going to get to for the amount your money is going to pay. I always do the smother of three on the chicken burritos smothered with cheese on fries and extra Verde. It's still homey for a hole in the wall and at the moment will give most Mexican restaurants a run for its money ,portion and quality. Hospitality has never been short on this place for sure..“

“Simply phenomenal vegan burrito. We ordered the veggie burrito, no cheese, add guac and add rice. It's massive, it's delicious. Potato, peppers, mushrooms, beans and a whole lot of tasty! Massive burrito! We split it. The red salsa is mild with bomb flavor.“

“Best tacos in the area. I ordered both the steak and spicy pork tacos, really well seasoned and always made fresh. Their aguas frescas are also a major selling point. The watermelon and mango flavored ones were delicious. The place is fairly small, with 4 or 5 picnic-like tables for seating. No AC so it is usually a little warm inside. Kept pretty clean. The few times I've ordered from there was in person. It does seem like they take orders over the phone though. Normally my wait for the food was around 15 to 20 min. On Tuesdays they have reduced pricing on tacos which is an even better value than their already well priced menu.I would recommend it if in the area.“

“Best Mexican food in town! I've heard this neighborhood can be dicey but it was perfectly safe and the mole is out of this world!!! The food is authentic, fresh, and amazingly flavorful. The service was very friendly and the food came very quickly and at the proper temperature. The soup is also wonderful. This hole-in-the wall is a real find! My husband and I will return often.“

“We had the 2 piece chicken meal. Excellent chicken, beans, tortillas, fried jalapeños, onions rice, churros & coke. It's a nice & very clean establishment. The employees were very polite & answered all our questions. We chatted with each one of them & told them how much we enjoyed the meal. The aroma of the place is to die for. It was our 1st time & we'll definately be back next week.it's nice to have a new place to eat in rose park. Thanks for the great experience“

“Tacos are delicious. I did fish and short rib. Minor complaint would be short rib should be cut as it's very difficult to eat. Otherwise I would recommend as the value is great and service was quick. There is seating available inside with a lot of drinks options that I forgot to take a photo of. Simple decor but comfortable enough for this type of joint.“

“Food wasn't as authentic as I would have liked, over seasoned and over cooked. The atmosphere was great though and so was the service! I had the Chile Verde smoothered burrito with rice and beans. Rice and beans were very overcooked.Parking: Very limited number of parking spots and street parking was full. We parked a block away and walked.“

“Most of the time I've got food from this place it has been via DoorDash, but I have eaten in the restaurant once and used their drivethru a couple times. I'll just say the food is good with large portions, but the building and atmosphere leave a lot to be desired. Want simple but good Mexican food? This is the place in SLC!“

“Francisco's is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The food is delicious and fresh, great service.I don't love the salsa. That's my only criticism. Highly recommend the Carne Asada tacos, they are so good! But, I haven't had any entre that I didn't love.“

“We had originally requested a reservation for 8, which turned into 12 people and it was late in the night. But they accommodated us. Service was fast and efficient. Despite us being a large group coming in close to the kitchen closing, the staff was very accommodating and kind. The margaritas and food were great. The waitress suggesting tequila shots was an added bonus. Next time we are back in SLC, we will think of Blue Iguana.“

“Cute little restaurant on 9th and 9th Street! My friend and I both got what we’d usually order at a Cafe Rio/Costa Vida, and we agreed that this place is better than either! I got a simple taco and my friend got an enchilada. The people here were super nice and spoke in Spanish to my friend. It’s also a good vibe, there’s an outdoor area to eat as well. Would recommend!“

“La verdad me agrada que sea un lugar donde para cambiar un cheque o enviar dinero dea una manera muy sencilla para perosonas latinas. A un que el restaurante tiene pocas variaciones de alimentos puedo decir que lo que vende esta rico, la venta de dulces de origen latino es excelente . 4.5 Recuerda es mi opinión. Recuerda seguirme The truth is that I like that it is a place where you can cash a check or send money in a very easy way for Latin people. Although the restaurant has few variations of food, I can say that what it sells is delicious, the sale of sweets of Latin origin is excellent. 4.5 Remember, this is my opinion. “I've been visiting many different restaurants and comparing their offerings of fish tacos and or sandwiches. At this Taco Time, I had a fish taco, that was basically a fish burrito, as it was wrapped in a flour tortilla.I loved all the sauce and cabbage Pico. The fish was a little disappointing and maybe a little over fried. The atmosphere was so *Wonderful* that I forgot that I was in a fast food restaurant.Definitely worth enjoying your meal inside.“

“Great! Called a head, had my order ready. The tacos come with just the meet, but then you can pick up veggies bags for free to add to the Tacos, along with some good salsa. It is a little hard to see from the road, but googles got their location down.“
“A lovely place, the touch screen menu was very easy to use, and had lovely pictures of the food. I got a quesabirrias combo which was delicious! The wait was what one would expect for quality food. (I came by about an hour and half before closing, not many people were there. I loved the innovative cooler with toppings so that I could add my own! The sanitizer bottle was also full—almost everywhere just has empty sanitizer bottles but not this place!“

“Hands down the best tacos in Utah. The salsas are perfection, the toppings have good variety, however the star of the show is the beef. The meat is juicy, tender, and very flavorful. The service is always great and the owner is very nice. The location is also very convenient. Authentic and flavorful! The best tacos in Utah!“
“I stumbled upon this place in a parking lot. I convinced my wife to try it (she's not a food truck person) and she loved it! He let us sample the meat since she's not familiar with a lot of Mexican-type food which was nice. He also gives HUGE portions. He's not skimping on the meat and I appreciate it. Def worth the price and super nice guy. Recommend highly“

“Food is always very good!! Their smothered burritos, their enchiladas, satisfy our Chicano family! The only problem with this place is that you can't get a margarita as it isn't a restaurant. You can sit down at a table, just no waiter or waitress to serve you a frosty beer or margarita. Basically great restaurant Mexican/Chicano food, in a fast food, Chipotle style service line way. Their food deserves more respect than a food line. Place is nice though, very clean and well taken care of, in case you want to sit down and eat.Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made in a vegetarian style, just ask to replace meat with your choice of pinto beans, black beans or refried beans as your protein replacement, my wife does it all the time.“

“ONLINE ORDERING IS FAKE (The taco stand is real though)This place has one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had and they are HUGE. But please know, this is a taco stand, they don’t do online ordering or “reserving a table” and the website you see on this profile is a scam (not the fault of the owners)Please mark this review as helpful so others know about this! You can also click “suggest edit” and remove the website links attached. This tells Google that the information isn’t accurate.“

“Great food. Although they are very stingy with the salsa. Don't they understand that the salsa is the best part of eating a burrito?!!?!! They need to get over that. Also my food took 18 minutes in the drive thru. No one was in the restaurant or in front of me. That's way too long for 3 tacos and 1 burrito. But I'll be back. “

“Today, we were in the U of U neighborhood, so we stopped in at Rio Grande Cafe for a late lunch. We were immediately seated in the upstairs dining area which is very clean and spacious. Our server was Olivia, a student at the U. from Washington State. Olivia was very pleasant to talk with, and while we did not order drinks from the bar at the start, we eventually did, and the $5 Margaritas were great. We shared a shrimp enchilada, with salad, rice, and beans. This was comfort food for a chilly afternoon! Because we shared an entree, we indulged in some key lime cheesecake. Wow, that was so good. This was an all around great lunch experience!“
