“I know good pizza is always debated, but seriously this Marcos Pizza makes the best pizza in the area. They are using the freshest ingredients (I live nearby and actually saw a Marcos staff member at the grocery store buying bags of fresh bell peppers for the dinner rush) and their quality is totally unmatched! Other popular and trendy SLC pizza joints are always so over salted and greasy, which to be fair, it’s pizza - it’s usually super salty and greasy. But at this Marcos Pizza, the food is salted and seasoned perfectly and there is never a swimming pool of grease on my food. The staff are incredible and run a tight (and clean!) ship, and my orders are always ready within 20 minutes, even the huge orders! And this team has been so kind in the way they have extended coupons and given discounts to their kind customers and really gone the extra miles for those huge ASAP pizza orders. No wonder this particular location was voted in the top 2% of all Marcos locations… they’re amazing!

“Second time here and we have loved both times. Called ahead without a reservation and the staff was super helpful and was able to squeeze us in. It was perfect as we had a limited time window. We watched them make the pasta right in front of us, then we walked around the eatery for a short time while they made and bagged our food. Amazing pasta, seems like it was made with 00 instead of semolina. Nice and delicate. Sauce was amazing.

They brought out this sundried tomato focaccia or something like that. Focaccia was good. They brought out olive oil and balsamic glaze. Should just be balsamic vinegar and olive oil. With the sundried tomatoes, it’s plenty sweet already and the glaze in olive oil just doesn’t work as well. Very small gripe and was still good.

Service was great too! Can’t wait to go back.“

“I stopped in this morning in a little bit of a rush to work and I'm so glad I did! I got the cold brew, the jalapeño/potato pastry, and the ham, caramelized onion, and swiss quiche. WOW that quiche was AMAZING! They also had my order ready so quickly. They have uncooked fettuccini pasta as coffee stirrers, which I loved ♻️ Also I love that they go the extra mile to freeze their cold brew into ice cubes to serve in the cold brew! I didn't feel rushed to drink my coffee for fear that it will water down. I'll definitely go back! Also the staff were all so kind and pleasant. The inside is cute too, this would be a cute date spot to split an afternoon cheesecake ❤️“

“I'm not a big fan of the fact that your waitress can't bring you your beer. They have to have somebody else. Bring it to you because maybe the waitress is an old enough war. Isn't it in possession of a tips and sips card or something? But it's highly annoying when everybody gets served their drinks except for 1 person at the table who decided to order a beer and the waitress forgetting going on until you have to request somebody to bring you your beer. It's kind of ridiculous. Other than that it was a good meal“

“My go-to place for brunch in Salt Lake City! I'm there practically every Sunday. Brooklyn the hostess and the waitresses Hearty and Marina are so delightful and helpful. The blueberry pancake, the artichoke dip, the avocado toast, and the ricotta toast are just a few of my favorite dishes.“

“Fantastic pizza! They have some amazing flavor combinations and very good crusts. The whole pizzas can be pricy, but by the slice seems like a better deal for the size of slice you get. We tried the Jazzberry, Motorhead, Sweet Gino, and Purple Potato and loved them all. Jazzberry was surprisingly good with the berry jam on top. I’ll go back to try the pasta and other options at some point.
The location is great too in the Foothill Village. There are some seats but I can see how it can easily fill up around meal times or on weekends.“

“The melon proscuitto burrata (with the watermelon) is amazing, as was the kurobuta pork chop entree (I wasn't a huge fan of the cooked spinach side, but, everything else was delicious). My husband enjoyed his manicotti entree, once it cooled down enough to eat. The fritto misto appetizer was good, although not as great as it is normally. It was different veggies and a little over-battered/gummy. This was a one-off; I get this all the time, and it's normally delish.
Despite requesting a booth for our anniversary, we were told they were already reserved, so we sat in a more "open" area. A booth sat empty almost the entire time we were there. That was annoying.“

“I always love Olive Garden. We arrived at this location for a mid afternoon meal. My spouse got the gluten-free pasta in a marinara sauce with Italian sausage. I ordered the chicken parmesan lunch portion. It normally comes with spaghetti. I substituted Fettuccine Alfredo. Somehow, the kitchen staff misinterpreted the order, and they gave me alfredo sauce with spaghetti noodles, and they put no alfredo sauce on my chicken parmesan instead of marinara sauce. Our server offered to replace the dish but we didn't have a whole lot of time so I told her it would be okay. She did bring me some marinara sauce to pour over the top of my chicken parmesan. Overall it turned out to be an amazing meal. The unintended changes to my dish turned out to be something new for me and I really enjoyed it. And the server was extremely attentive, I wish I could remember her name to share it with all of you.“
