“We just had one of the best dinners in a long time at Mamma Mia’s! We had the eggplant Parmesan and a Mamma Mia’s pizza. We intended to share but both defended our meals because they were so delicious. Extraordinary quality & great service. The owner came out and spoke with us, explaining the process of how it was made. The whole experience was a WOW!!!”

“An old friend and I planned to meet here as a halfway point to meet up at before he moves to Hawaii. I drove in from the DC area with my wife and he drove up from Greenville, SC. When we got there the owner told us that he was closing up shop as he was getting ready to start his Thanksgiving break, but decided to let us stay and eat since we'd come in from so far.

The service was fantastic, the food was great, and we got to know the owner (he has a cool story by the way). I'd recommend anyone visit the restaurant and wish it were on the way of our frequent trips down to Charlotte.

At times we’ve brought our son to small local spots and have been made to feel out of place because of it but not here, at all! “Highly recommend their apple pie açaí bowl. Had it recently at the downtown Johnson City location and it was incredible. açaí, granola, cinnamon apples, bananas, & caramel. They also stated they have this bowl year round, not just in the fall.”

“We stood in line for a little bit, but NEEDED the time to review their extensive menu! A gentleman in front of us gave us amazing recommendations. We would up ordering the pimento cheeseburger with fried green tomato, fries, coleslaw and baked beans. We couldn’t finish our meal…but we sure dang tried! EVERYTHING was delicious. The pimento cheeseburger was amazing. (I saw a review that said servings were small…I would have to disagree considering all the other guests platters.)”

“I love Bella’s food! The food is never bad! However The only issue I have is anytime you call after a certain time the phone is off the hook. This is the 3rd time in the past month I have tried calling Several times and it comes up busy. I’m not the only one that has had this issue. A local business called one night and several of the team members tried getting through for 2 hrs and it was busy. Today it’s 6pm on a Friday and the same problem. I get ppl are short handed but you would think they would want the business.”

“Me and my friend roadtripped down from Vermont to Virginia to see friends and family. While we were there, we were lucky to attend Lori’s plant walk. It was such a magical experience to walk on her historical property, and learn all about the numerous uses for all the plants you may see, even those we may see as weeds. Lori was so welcoming and encouraged others to share any knowledge they had, saying she always loves learning new things and hearing others perspectives. As a college student majoring in Agroecology and Lanscape design, I feel like I learned more from Lori and her practices then I did in any of my classes!”

“after sitting in line for over 25 minutes to get food through your drive-thru in Abingdon Virginia I wouldn't recommend going there at all and it was not a lack of employees with three in the kitchen and two working in the front”
