“Side Chic is owned and operated by a husband & wife duo who after managing fast food restaurants took a leap of faith to start their own. When I saw the name and logo I was very curious how they came up with but it’s not what I was thinking at all haha but it’s very heartwarming. The restaurant is kind of hidden from the street but there’s a huge banner and signs guiding you in. It’s very cozy inside, with TVs, humorous chicken puns on the walls and there’s seating to dine in. I ordered the fried chicken wings and tenders combo, the classic chicken sandwich, cajun fries and mac & cheese for sides. Y’all that chicken was seasoned to perfection! It was hot and fresh too! Everything was amazingly delicious! The owners were really nice and I will definitely be making a point to support regularly! Go check it out y’all!“
“Been eating here since the early 1990s when I lived in Richmond, and make it a point to stop by if i'm anywhere near the city. The Chicken is second to none, the Potato Wedges are amazing and after about 30 years, I have never been in there when the staff wasn't truly friendly, without fail the service has been as consistent as the Chicken is awesome. The only difference now is it's not a secret like it was in the early days.“

“The best food and service! I can not say enough positive about this place. Hope they open more across the country! If you have a hungry teen, I highly recommend the What The Cluck Sandwich! It was AWESOME, will challenge the biggest of eaters! Don’t forget to order some of their Mac n cheese and their spicy honey sauce is a must try!“
“This was mine and my friends first time here and I wasn't thinking it would be anything special. Well I was wrong!!!First: The guy working the counter was super friendly and helpful with describing the flavor of their signature sauce. Hangry Sauce is yum-yum sauce-esk but with a little more tang and spice. Super delicious!Second: My friend ordered the Combo #1, the Chicken Sando! Well the chicken breast was as big as his face and since he doesn't like spice, he got the spice free option and loved the flavor of the seasoning. His first bite he opened his eyes wide and said oh my gosh that's so good. The outside was cooked with a nice little crisp coating and the inside was moist and delicious! By the way, it does not fit on the bun. As a matter of fact, you can cut it and make two sandwiches!! He had waffle fries too, I will get to those!Third: I ordered a Combo #4 the 6 piece chicken wings and waffle fries with coleslaw! So, I was very impressed by how big the wings were and they didn't disappoint with flavor! I ordered the mild dry rub and probably should have gotten medium. They were perfectly seasoned with the rub being a little sweet and spicy with wonderful flavor to it! The chicken wings were perfectly cooked with a crunchy outside and moist and juicy inside!! By far the best chicken I have had in 50 years, and I eat a lot of chicken!!Lastly, the waffle fries and coleslaw! So the waffle fries were perfectly crisp and golden brown on the outside and soft yummy potato on the inside!! The coleslaw was obviously homemade. The cabbage was perfectly shaved and the dressing was a perfect blend that was not thick and a little sweet with no weird tang to it!I have never been so impressed by what's considered fast food before but I will recommend Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings to everyone I know from now on!!***If you have ever had what you consider to be a bad experience here before, I suggest you give it another go!!My thanks to Moe and his crew for what I consider to be one of the best chicken meals I have had in my life! “Delicious!! First time here and was so surprised by the quality of the food as well as the portion size. Would be an excellent spot for date night or just to share a plate with friends. The waitress was so warm and welcoming. She really made all the difference!“
“Me and my husband both got the 1/4 pound burger with grilled onions and cheese, it was absolutely delicious!!! We are most definitely going to order from here again! Definitely recommend coming here if you want a quick bite to eat. Food was ready pretty fast too but it also wasn’t too busy.“
“I took my 5 year old son here for lunch. The fried chicken was crispy but still juicy. Very flavorful. The kids meal was fairly priced and portioned. I look forward to trying more of the sides next, and to see if the food travels well through a delivery service.“

“Stopped by here on a whim when I had a taste for fried chicken. This location is actually inside a gas station - Exxon- and the storefront is called the Lovely Market. Anyway, I went in, got a three piece dark meat and a biscuit. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The chicken was tender and spiced very nicely; wasn't old at all. The breading was thin (not crackly like Popeyes), but oh so delicious! The biscuit, with it's sort of spiral shape, and topped with honey and butter was delicious as well. I didn't get to eat everything in one setting, but later reheated it at home. Still delicious as ever. I would wholeheartedly return here!“
