“Been coming to this subway for a year. I have watched the employees turn over like swapping Laundry. I have seen first hand them short sandwiches when double meat was ordered. I have called from the parking lot and watch them not pick up the phone when the place was empty. I do have choices of other subways but this one is near my house. I have to hover over them to make sure they do their job when I order food.”

“My wife and I visited Chris’s custard for the first time today it was very enjoyable even got to meet Chris great guy I also thought it was cool to see other people working there with a disability as well. It was also fast service and very friendly We will be going back there again for sure.”

“Blue Cow is our go-to ice cream destination of choice with fun and unique flavors you won't find anywhere else! The atmosphere is cute and charming, but it can get quite busy and you might have a hard time finding a seat, but as long as the weather is nice there are plenty of spaces to sit down along the greenway! The only other thing to consider is the severe lack of parking. There are a few spots next to the building, but they are usually always full, and the business across the street does not take kindly to people parking in their lot.Parking: The parking is very limited and the lot across the street is not keen on letting people park there. Recommendation is to park and walk a little ways if you are able!”

“Great tasting burritos at reasonable prices. Food is very tasty and prepared fresh and fast.FyI, no soda fountain drinks only bottled drinks. Chips and salsa are not served with your food order like your typical Mexican restaurants, which probably helps keep prices on food cheaper than other restaurants. I personally enjoyed the side salad that was served with my burrito order.Overall, it was great tasting food.”

“We love the other Pancho locations but live on the south east side. So to hear that they opened one 15 min from me was so amazing. They didn’t disappoint!!! The amazing service and outstanding food. Every time we come the food is hot and delicious, the service is fast, friendly and attentive. Our drinks are never under half full and when I ordered some cheese dip with my carnitas they brought it out with my food!! Any location you go to you won’t be disappointed. WE LOVE PANCHOS!!”

“I have been here dozens and dozens of times. I keep coming back for the excellent Italian and American food with a surprising middle eastern flair in some dishes. The staff are always friendly and quickly assist in any way they can. Not to mention that the place is clean and prices are fair.I highly recommend their Egyptian flatbread, especially with garlic and cheese. Fantastic little treat! This is the BEST Italian restaurant I have been to.Parking: Lots of spots that fill up quickly due to demand”

“We went here for my Mom's birthday dinner in March 2024. We arrived to a card on the table signed by all the staff, an amazing touch. Jess was our waitress and BEYOND phenomenal! We had an incredible celebration of an evening.”

“It was my first time visiting. The gentleman that owns the shop was super sweet to my son. My son wasn’t feeling his best and we just came from the pediatrician’s office, and all he wanted was ice cream. The gentleman was doing everything to make him smile. Even gave him these little buckets that had bear and dinosaur crayons. The girls behind the counter were super patient and sweet. They had a shops full of different sweets and other things. We will definitely be coming back.”

The food is great and the dessert is out of this world! The addition of their "pub," the Alley Cat, which is located downstairs, is an added bonus! “I've tried every Chinese in Roanoke. This one is by far the best in the area. Just about Everything's on point, and they don't use the same base sauce for everything and call it a different name. Only thing slightly lacking are the eggs rolls. Amazing crisp, but the content inside of them are all veges. Still 9.9/10. I drive 25 minutes one way just to pick up from here. ? Bravo!”

The roast beef sandwich for $7.99 with no sides or drink had very little roast beef and it seems like the cheapest variety of deli cuts from the grocery store… it’s disappointing because I even left a tip before getting my sandwich… tomato was fresh and thick and the cheese was good (hopefully theirs) and fresh bread ….”

Lots of grab and go options, novelty treats/ grocery items, nice wine/beer section, as well as a kitchen in the back (not always open - be sure to double check before you go). Great menu options, both unique and traditional items, and always really tasty. Haven’t been mad at anything I’ve tried yet!”
