“This was my first time at Cheddar's. I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere, good food, and fair prices. The whole family really enjoyed this place. They had a beautiful fish tank, a unique ceiling fan, and the food was perfect after being on the road all day. The calm atmosphere was a welcome transition. Service was good as well, the whole family enjoyed this eatery more than expected. For a family of 4, it can't out around $60 so not cheap eats, but not outlandish and there were cheaper options. The crescent rolls were a nice addition as well..“
“Wheelchair accessibility: I watched an elderly gentleman try to maneuver his wife in a wheelchair to his table. There was not adequate room between his table and either of the ones on either side. I myself helped him move his table and chairs to accommodate her. Sad. Then as I dined alone, I observed his live and care for her. It moved me to pay for their meals. Please consider the space when seating those in wheelchairs please.“
“Just by chance we decided to go Janie's Place and we are glad we did. The owner Janie is a fireball. The food is very good. Try the beef brisket, as well as the country fried steak. The fried green tomatoes are also very good. Prices are more than reasonable.“
“Be a rockstar and take your girl here for dinner! Had the spicy pimento cheese BLT with Broccoli salad. Food quality was really good and I was stuffed when I left. The rest of the family had chicken salad and said it was great. Restaurant is clean and interesting and staff is friendly. Food is expensive but not ridiculous compared with what you get. “I would highly recommend the fried chicken the fried catfish the fries and the mac and cheese however I would not recommend the baked mac and cheese as it is super sweet and under seasoned I wouldn't recommend the cornbread it's really sweet and very dry and the banana pudding as it's more vanilla pudding with banana and wafers I would recommend the BBQ baked beans super tasty I would recommend the green beans really tasty with a bacon flavor I would recommend the sweet tea I will say it's not quite sweet enough but almost perfect. As for the service I didn't get the waitresses name but she was very friendly very patient and all around great. The building was very clean very nice the seats were a little tight but very comfortable and if you like sports this place is perfect for you I would easily say this is the best soulfood in Bristol“
