“I have been here or had food from here before and this is for certain—it is great BBQ. I had the pulled pork sandwich, with huge chunks of pork, served without sauce but with a pick-your-own selection on the side, while my guests had the ribs, both great servings. I also had cornbread which was still hot from the oven. My only issue was with the cole slaw which, while fresh, could use a touch of vinegar, Duke’smayo, and salt for flavor. Otherwise the service was helpful and we walked away quite full!“
“Best bbq I’ve had in ages, and I’m sad I don’t live closer. The sauce has the perfect smoky, hint of spice, and sweet. Everything was so good. Even the sweet tea (which I got half n half) was done well. Exceptional food in a cute atmosphere. If I’m ever in Culpeper, I know where I’ll be going.“
“I had spoken to someone who said it was Texas style BBQ and as someone who has lived in Texas this may be a half truth. The food is still really good. I think the portion size is a bit off for the pricing but as most people know BBQ is not cheap. I absolutely LOVE that they have Big Red!!! That is definitely a Texas thing and I only know of 2 places in VA that has that drink!Parking: There is a small parking lot across the street but there is no great place to park.“
“Did carryout. Platters come with the same roll as the sandwich and you get a side. Fries excellent, even after getting them home, they were completely crispy. Delicious baked beans too. Pulled chicken was really good with their spicy sauce. Will definitely go again!Parking: Lots of spots in their parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, accessible with marked signs.“
“I literally worked in the kitchens of some, of the top bar b q restaurants in this area of VA for a decade in my younger days. (I am extremely picky about bar b q, bc I made&served it for a decade to say the least!)... THIS TREASURE I stumbled upon on accident. OMG its amazing...very inviting presention&has that sweet 'we made this espically for you', feel.Staff was pleasant&prompt. The menu&options blew me away and it was DELICIOUS. They are super clever in design(you will need to see it for yourself). Foods YUM... let me say that again Y U M! Make sure your try the mac&cheese side and you HAVE to eat the cornbread.Cornbread is SO over done everywhere and just an "add to the plate" take it or leave it item in many Bar B Q restaurants ...I went back for a second here ?(I don't even like cornbread, did I say that? I DO NOW!).. it is THE best around. Don't just take my word for it...you have to check them out. You will be glad you did.“
“I just had my son and his brides wedding October 1st. We had a food truck back out on us 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding date. Uncle Bob & Sweet T’s BBQ saved the day!!! This was a good size wedding with about 120 people. We are the first wedding they have done and let me tell you they hit it OUT OF THE PARK!!! People raved about how good it was and the sides that came with it were delicious! You would never know this was their first wedding. They were so organized and had cute menus made up with a wedding theme. I believe they started their business in May. I have no doubt they will book up for future weddings. Outstanding and a pleasure to work with.Kristi Gibbons“
