“I have not bee to a Taco Bell since college (over 15 years) and opted to go after the movies when I was at Dulles Town Center last. This Taco Bell sits in the food court between a pizza place and a Chinese place. The line was long but not as long as a week ago (previous time I tried to go). They only had one person on the register and two people make the food. The line moved slowly was people seemed to be at a loss as to what to get. I made my order quickly and waited less than five minutes for my food. I got two soft tacos (beef and steak). When I got home, I was a little concerned with the amount of meat in either of my tacos but was surprised at the amount they hid amongst the lettuce. They also put on an ample amount of cheese and the steak taco had sour cream in it. The steak was well cooked and the ground beef was well seasoned. Very happy I went back.“
“this is the first time i’ve ever been to a chipotle and the chicken was well seasoned AND someone salted the rice!!! the vegetables were grilled to perfection and i happen to show up when they had just put out fresh rice. it feels like my birthday“

“Banditos Tacos and Tequila was definitely a pleasant surprise. Despite it being a busy Friday night and not having a reservation, there was no wait for great booth seating - and the music was great. The Hamburger Nachos were scrumptious and were definitely shareable — the portion size was huge!! I went with the Quesadilla Marina for my main course & devoured it!! The Old Bay seasoned shrimp and cilantro claw were THE perfect combo with the Chihuahua cheese ?Our server was super duper attentive and checked in often to make sure we had enough water and also weren’t waiting to order anything else.“
“I was craving birria tacos but it’s hard to find a place that’s authentic and good at making them. I took a shot in the dark by ordering from this place I have never tried before and wow, this had to be the best birria tacos I have ever had.“
“The people here are just plain awesome and only their food outshines their awesomeness! We have lunch here at least once a week and El Fresco has never failed to deliver. It is Tex-Mex food made with the absolute freshest of ingredients. We swear you can taste the sunshine in the tomatoes used for the many varieties of salsa. Salsa that comes free with a huge helping of the best chips anywhere. We can vouch for anything shrimp having had both the shrimp quesadillas and the handheld shrimp burritos. Both of these are stuffed with fantastic shrimp and the very best of ingredients. (The burrito the winner of any we have ever had and we have had dozens!) All the proteins are of exceptional quality; pork, chicken, steak, etc.The nachos are in a category by themselves -- A delicious monster size helping which we swore we could not finish but oh, look -- we did! There is a terrific lunch menu which runs until the unusual hour of 4:00 p.m. which accommodates us workaholics who will suddenly look at the clock and realize lunch time has passed! We have not had anything of less than stellar quality in the dozens of times we have eaten here. The restaurant is always found in pristine condition as the manager personally takes the time to clean up on a regular basis; you can tell he takes pride in both the facility and the food.NVCC students take note: El Fresco is directly across the street from campus and it offers a 15% discount for students. Such a deal; we wish we were still in school! Please give El Fresco a try as the food is the best Tex-Mex to be found anywhere in the area.“
“A few years ago, this place deserved 6 stars, it was amazing. Since expanding and growing its lost some of its luster. Online ordering forces you to have the same toppings on all your tacos if you get a 2/3/4 pack. Plus you can’t get two of the same meat, makes no sense. The salsa is now in packets like Taco Bell. It’s great to see that they have been successful but just like District Taco, the quality and options have been reduced.“
“After dropping my daughter off for practice I stop in here. It’s small and quaint, people were very friendly. The menu is small and I wasn’t expecting much but I was wrong. The food was amazing. The salsa was fresh and full of flavor! I tried 3 different tacos; steak, barbacoa, bbq brisket; each was great! They brought out a small tray of 4 hot sauces for the tacos all of which were really good. If you are in the mood for great high quality tacos, I give this place a very surprised 5 stars! I will definitely be back.“
“I just moved here at the area , from Maryland for 12 years now want do an update , these is how we got welcome ? in Virginia with this really good tacos ! Atmosphere is great the food are amazing good price and good music Latin , and stuff professionally! And place clean ! Love it I will be back Always ?“
“We catered in Casa de Avila for a birthday party and it was such a hit! I knew their food was great after having it at their food truck, but catering in food can sometimes be a different experience. Thankfully, the catered food was just as good because they put care and quality into the prep and delivery! I can appreciate that it’s difficult to prep a larger size of food and deliver it fresh and in a way that upholds the quality of the food. They have everything down to a science. The employee who delivered everything was on time, professional, and careful! Their communication with scheduling and planning was outstanding which is very important to me. I highly recommend Casa de Avila for authentic delicious Mexican food! Best tacos in the area! ❤️“
“This place has delicious tacos ? The staff was super friendly and the decor was enjoyable. They definitely had plenty of drink options and they had a HUGE variety of tacos. If you are not a fan of tacos they also have rice bowls and other options as well! Highly “
“I recently dined at Altos de Jalisco and had an absolutely delightful experience. The food was exceptional, bursting with authentic Mexican flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. However, what truly set this restaurant apart was the remarkable staff. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests from the moment I and my family stepped through the door. Altos de Jalisco is a gem of a restaurant where delicious cuisine meets impeccable service. Five stars without a doubt!“
“I was in DC from Atlanta. Looking for a Mexican Resturant. I checked the reviews and tried El Fresco restaurant. The guacamole was very fresh and fish tacos were delicious. Definitely on my next trip to DC I will go back to El Fresco Mexican Resturant.“
“Really nice and sweet staff. Very serviceable and made sure everything was okay.We didn’t like one of the dishes and they were able to accommodate us to another meal which was very kind. The horchata is a must have! Birria tacos were delicious. Atmosphere felt very fancy for a Guapos!“
“Walked here with family from a near-by hotel. My daughter (age 7) said she's going to be moving here someday just to order the kids burrito every day. I don't usually indulge in frozen margaritas so glad that I did here because it was delicious! Spacious, clean and not loud made this an exceptional family friendly restaurant.“
“I found the service at this establishment to be satisfactory, and the food was decent, though not exceptional. However, my dining experience was marred by the excessive focus on happy hour margarita specials and the lack of clear separation between the bar area and the dining room. This resulted in loud and disruptive behavior from intoxicated patrons, both at the bar and at nearby tables. Additionally, I observed instances where the server seemed overly eager to continue serving drinks to individuals who were already visibly intoxicated, which detracted from the overall atmosphere and enjoyment of the meal“
“If you're looking for an international version of a greasy spoon, this is it! Food is superb. Prices are reasonable for anywhere, let alone NOVA. Atmosphere is attractively rough around the edges. And they have good beer on tap. Highly recommend!“
“This place is fantastic and has been for two decades. I moved away from NoVa years ago but recently returned for a visit and this restaurant hasn't missed a beat. I cannot figure out how other reviewers say everything is great and leave 4 stars. Cannot go wrong with the steak fajitas and house margaritas.“
“Can't beat the quesadilla for the price! You get a giant quesdailla packed with protein& great flavors. The Al pastor quesadilla is my favorite! I recently had the Birria tacos, and I must say I now have a new favorite! So delicious! Even my husband couldn't help but steal a bite! Very cute restaurant. They play music inside sonits a bit of a louder environment. When you call, it's a bit hard to hear the employee on the other end, so I do suggest ordering online.“
“It was my first time coming to this place. The guy who took my order was super nice. The tacos are really good. The ambience is good too. It's clean and tidy. I believe they have outdoor sitting when weather is nice. I ordered three tacos and a side of guacamole. I would definitely come back!“
“Uncle Jalapeño’s was so good. Karan our waiter was so nice and the manager on duty stopped by to say hello. All the staff was so friendly and the food was so good. The paneer tikka tacos, the nachos and the chicken tandoori burrito (forgot to get a pic before the Mister dug into it) were all phenomenal. And I’m obsessed with their salsa. You can get straight forward Mexican or Mexican/Indian fusion. Yum!!!!!“
“This place is a MUST-VISIT restaurant. The staff and food are the best in the area for family-friendly dining. The service here is hands-down the best I've had post-covid. They have been in business for 23 years, and we had the pleasure of being served by Brett, who is an example of perfection in wait service. The fresh guacamole is excellent and comes unsalted with tablesalt on the side so you can get it exactly how you like it.The Chimichanga bites are perfectly golden crispy. This is a must-try app. They have different custom flavor tequilas as well as a full bar with various types of everything. The Desert Pear flavor is unique and I personally recommend it.Uniquely, they have casual free-play with complimentary prizing Monday thru Wednesday which is extremely cool.Live bands on Saturday.Lastly, they have a 1030a-2p brunch menu that is extremely competitively priced. Plus that desert pear flavor in a mimosa!!!This is a really really cool place. Check it out!“
“Authentic cuisine - if I lived in this neighborhood I’d be here every day!! I had the Desayuno Huevos Rancheros and wow ? I didnt know what some of the foods I was eating were but EVERY bite was full of flavor - GREAT flavor. Highly recommend.“
“Kind, inviting people work here. I was greeted with a happy smile, great service, a real margarita with fresh juice, and a nice conversation. The Pollo Poblano Mole was a rich complex dish - authentic Mexican. Great job guys, keep it up! You have got an amazing restaurant and Bar. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican Food, stop by t’Kila Latin Kitchen & Bar, right here in Landsdowne. ?“
“Outstanding nachos! Perfect complement of cotija cheese and sautéed veggies. And the chips were robust enough to could keep up with my aggressive scoops. I’m 25 minutes from this place and I’d considered driving back just for another run at the nachos.“
“The fish celantro stuff was fantastic! The beans were like a runny gravy. The garlic shrimp was served on the shell and very difficult to chew. The phone was in the booth behind me and kept ringing during the meal.I asked them to move it somewhere else, but I don’t think they know English.“
“Visiting from out of state and found this gem. Good sized portions on their lunch menu for $9.99 + a small serving of chips while you wait for your food. Dine in without a waiter. We hope to come back before we leave. I'd be a regular if we lived nearby. Nice staff.Parking: Big parking lot in strip mall. Tons of free parking.“
“Excellent simply excellent. Best hot sauce they serve on the table. Great breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The food is just delicious, and one of the best omelets you can get anywhere. My favorite dish is the Mexican pizza. Like a flat taco. Enjoy!“
“These guys came to the St. John the Apostle Parish Picnic today and were quite pleasant folks. They had a very positive demeanor and served food that was absolutely incredible. The burrito that I ate was absolutely delicious and garnered the admiration of multiple different people. 10/10, I would eat here again. I actually almost got a burrito to go but was sad to see that they had already left for the day.“
“My husband and I were out on a date night. We were spontaneous and just picked a restaurant on the fly.We ended up at BEBOP Korean-Mexican Grill. It was outstanding! My husband ordered the Korean Chicken Bowl with purple rice. He said it was very good, I tried some and he was right!I ordered the Bulgogi Cheese Steak Sandwich. It was over-the-top outstanding! We also shared an order of Mexican Fries, very yummy and spicy! We are so pleased with BEBOP Korean-Mexican Grill. The man behind the counter was very nice, he explained a lot the menu to us since it was our first time.We highly recommend BEBOP Korean-Mexican Grill in Ashburn, VA.We will bring our daughter here on family night and we will tell our friends as well!Thank you BEBOP Korean-Mexican Grill for the great food and service too. ❤️Dietary restrictions: N/AParking: Parking is great!Kid-friendliness: N/AWheelchair accessibility: N/A“
“I had the birria tacos and I thought they were great. My husband had the gringo burrito and it was so big he couldn't finish it! Our kids had the kids quesadillas and kid taco meals - ate it right up with no argument or constant reminding to eat. Our server was attentive and even the manager came by to make sure we had everything. Even offered complimentary churros as a thank for a little wait on our food, which I didn't think was a wait at all but who passes up free churros?! Overall experience was good and will be back.“
“I recently dined at Los Toltecos in Dulles Town Center and had a noteworthy experience. The highlight of our meal was the molcajete texano, a generously portioned dish recommended by our waitress, which was delicious and ample enough to satisfy two or even three people. However, be prepared to order extra sides like tortillas, rice, and beans if sharing among a group. The restaurant offers reasonable prices and benefits from the ample parking available at the mall, making it easily accessible. On the downside, the service was a bit lacking; our waitress didn't check on us as often as we would have liked. Despite this, the overall experience was pleasant, with the quality of the food standing out as a strong point.“
“Giving 4 stars because I had one of the absolute best steak quesadillas I’ve ever had here a week or two ago. I went back today but it seems they switched the meat and I am not sure how to feel about it… :( also there’s a blob of mayonnaise in place of sour cream. Maybe an off day?“
“Pretty good food. One of the better Mexican restaurants in the area. The Carnitas tacos were really good, as was the Pollo Veracruz. 5 stars for their hot suace. I'm talking about the stuff that came with my tacos and the habanero sauce you have to ask for. The salsa that's comes with the chips is really good too, not hot, but very flavorful.I'll be back. There are several other items on the menu I want to try.Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot between their building and the Wegmans or between Lazy Dog and Habit Burger.“
“I love Anita's for Taco Tuesday. The server was kind enough to help me with my Spanish and deserves a raise. I had to explain to our server in Spanish that my friend, Emma Hammersley, was going to have a birthday and they immediately brought out a small dessert. The Taco salad is nicer than Wendy's and tacos were better than Taco Bell and Taco Bamba.Vegetarian options: BeansKid-friendliness: Children's menu“
“Well, let's start by saying amazing. This place is amazing and the staff are very very nice and they are kid friendly too. We bring our toddler here and we are always greeted with smiles and excellent service. The food is just as wonderful as the people here... we get the same dishes all the time and it's always ready quickly and delightfully delicious. If I can give more stars I would. It's that good. I almost don't want to write this review just so I can keep this amazing place a secret... I love it that much and so does my fiancé. She gives it 5 stars... I just asked her, and she agrees... it's amazing. We love it and hope you do too.“
“Food here is excellent! The street corn has so much flavor! Love the mango salsa!! I got a baja bowl with chicken and black beans; my boyfriend got a chicken burrito. Both were very good! We ordered via Door Dash, but will definitely give the restaurant a try next time for sure. Highly recommend. Get the street corn!!“
“Chuys is an excellent Tex-Mex restaurant with reasonable prices. Their servings are generous, often enough to be shared between two people unless one is particularly hungry. In addition to salsa, they offer complimentary dips for the chips listed on the menu. If you're interested, It's widely regarded as the top Tex-Mex spot in Washington D.C. and the surrounding area.“
“This Pupusas Express is one of my go-to dine in spots in Herndon. The team here is always attentive at helping out. The wings are super crispy and well seasoned without additional sauce. The plantains are always served ripe with a side of beans and crema. The pupusas here are filled with your filling of choice and never greasy. Would recommend“
“I'm here at least once a week. The food is phenomenal!!!!!!The pupusas are better than anyone within 20 miles. The chicharron con yuca one of my faves, the tamales the elote are authentic and corn 100% no flour so get them. The breakfasts are also a fave.... Just go you will be glad you did.“
“Meal was good. Ambience ok. Shout to service. Hector was very good, smiled, and brought food in timely manner. Not to be critical, but the entertainment featured a singer whose voice was strong and polished. But sounded to much of a lounge act with phrasing that was too long. Songs were sung way too slow for my enjoyment and began grating on my nerves. 1st time there. Chips were thick and unsatisfactory. More along lines of Taco Bell. Will go back but no urgency to go back. Salsa should be better.“
“I’m in charge of catering for a large group of friends. We do events very often. We try different countries food. This time we chose Mexican food. I found this small restaurant with majestic, original, typical taste. It was a general consensus that the food was amazing. Everyone ate more than one plate. Thank you to the owner, Ms. Veronica for not only providing quality food but additional quantity. We are very happy and appreciative for that gesture I’m sure we will be making future business with her! I 100% recommend this place for all your catering needs.“
“A Flavorful Fiesta!I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rebel Taco and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant and festive atmosphere set the perfect tone for a Mexican culinary adventure. The decor was charming, and the lively music added to the overall ambiance. The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our meal. Kudos to the waitstaff for their prompt and courteous service! We ate there for lunch and the food was wonderful. I am a major salsa snob and I LOVED their salsa. The guacamole was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and my fajitas were well seasoned. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained. The attention to cleanliness was evident at our table and throughout the entire establishment, including the restrooms.5 stars for Rebel Taco!!“
“We had dinner here. This ambiance is awesome, but atmosphere is little dull. May be because Wednesday night. Service is good. Food is good, but not like extremely good and hence giving 4 stars. We ordered jalapeño margarita and Bahama Mama. Both drinks are excellent. I wish they put in less ice cubes.“
“Amazing spot when I don't want to cook, this place great food for the family. Take out or dine in. The service is great! Chicken and taquitos are delicious and flavorful! The pupusas are iffy. but other than that, the workers are super nice!“
“Honestly all I've ever had was their tacos, but damn if they aren't the most authentic around! The price is good as well. This is a secret place in the white people community, because they mostly cater to Latinos, but if they marketed towards other groups of people the place would probably grow to more locations. Just get your food to go, because the seating area is small. They also have a market store to pick up Latin products, I saw some authentic cok and pepsi products in the classic glass bottles. Good place, but they think small and mostly cater to their own culture, which is cool and understandable. However, if they focused on bringing other calture groups the business would skyrocket, because the food they cook is so real and delicious and priced excellent.“
“This place is always on point is very affordable the food is good , the people are very nice and respectful they now have a drive thru witch is new to me due to the last time I ate here it didn't have one so that's a big plus very cozy spot , for friends and familia.“
“I definitely had a memorable dining experience at this Uncle Julio's. I ordered the carnitas fajitas and ate the whole jalapeno not thinking it was gonna be sooooo hot (because majority of the places I have been to that served jalapenos have not served spicy hot jalapenos). It definitely packed a punch and made me cry at the bar! Kudos to the bartender who acted like I wasn't just bawling while eating my carnitas. She also kept the chips and salsa coming and my drink filled, while I was waiting for my entree (which wasn't really that long of a wait). Service was for sure top notch. The complementary chips and salsa were pretty good. The carnitas fajitas and everything that came with it were delicious and flavorful. I would've liked more lime crema over it, but it was still pretty great. The portions are pretty good: as hungry as I was, I had to take some home (which is good for me for a midnight snack sometimes!). The restaurant can get loud, depending on who's dining close to you, where you are seated and the day/time it is. I came in on a Thursday night and sat at the bar fairly close to a big group of diners who were enjoying their night with a few drinks, so it was fairly loud, but I didn't mind. They were all animatedly talking about something and a couple of them had some entertaining takes on the subject. It's part of the dining experience! LOL.I enjoyed my dining experience at Uncle Julio's and will definitely come back.“
“Went to Local's Tacos and tequila (Sterling) the other week with friends. We started with the nachos (picture attached) and margaritas. The nachos are 2nd to none with plenty of toppings, real cheese, melted in broiler and really tasty. For my entree I had the combo steak and chicken) fajitas which were really of tasty and plenty of food. The service is prompt and friendly. The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a Mexican restaurant. Local's Taco & Tequila thanks for offering great food and service. I'll be back soon. Cheers!“
“This place is a gem. The food is so fresh and delicious. I especially recommend the carnitas tacos and the cheese pupusa, but the chicken tacos are also excellent. Their carnitas and chicken are perfectly seasoned and tender. Everyone I've encountered there has been friendly. If only they had weekend hours! But hey, their food is a great way to treat yourself on a long work day.“
