“We went upstairs to the covered and heated rooftop bar. There were tons of board games to choose from so we decided on trivial pursuit. The beer selection here is phenomenal and I tried my first Lagunitas hoppy refresher, a non alcoholic zero calorie sparkling water with the flavor of refreshing hops! It was the flavor of beer without the calories or the alcohol, brilliant! Our bartender was super fast and very friendly. A great spot to check out if you're in the neighborhood.“
“Managing Part Owners of BTP & db, Kat and Kristina, bring to Life a really cool place where Bronx Pizza used to be right near the Clarendon Metro. They both have lots of experience in the Arlington Restaurant Bar scene, and have brought in only great, friendly employees at the wonderful dive bar section and also in the kitchen. And, by association, they also have brought in great, friendly customers. The food is solid and reasonably priced. The HH, now Monday through Friday, is a standout, and runs 4 to 8 PM. This place at times when I am there remains a hidden gem, and now I am afraid I have let the cat out of the bag, and that really is a great thing, like BTP & db !!“
“O'Shaughnessy's is the last dive in Old Town and it definitely lives up to your expectations! They've got killer live music, cheap drinks, pool tables, and some of the best regulars in town. If you're looking for the "fun" bar, this is the place you're looking for!!!“
“A literal hidden gem - Tucked away beside the Pisco and Nazca restaurant and downstairs beneath the neighboring hotel (easy to miss). Reasonably priced drinks for the area, karaoke, and and an owner who was involved in helping out behind the bar, changing kegs, in the kitchen, and conversational with guest. If you need a break from the pretentiousness of DC this is the spot.“
“I came here with some friends after a wedding welcome drink celebration. We wanted a chill place to catch up and chill out. This place is a cash only, divey kind of bar, no big frills and no fuss. If you don't have cash on hand, there's an atm inside. My friends and I ordered beers, rail drinks, and a cider. I was afraid our group of six wouldn't find a place to sit, but a larger group left around the same time we arrived and we were able to grab their tables. Though, I'll note it was papacies on a Friday night. The ambiance is hometown neighborhood bar! Everyone is super nice and bartender was calm and attentive even though it was busy. While I didn't see they offered food, they did let us bring food from outside late at night. So that was nice of them. Def recommend!“
“Amazing food!! We definitely were not expecting that. I dare say, one of the best things I've ever eaten. Spicy chicken sandwich with nacho fries. I know it doesn't sound like anything special, but it really was. Great music (lots of ACDC, punk and metal)!“
“Most of my time at Wonderland has been at night for drinks with friends, but last Saturday I popped in for brunch and was pleasantly surprised. We were able to sit on the patio because it was just gorgeous outside, and the vibes were immaculate. If you love people watching and dogs, the patio is the place for you! As far as food, we ordered the brunch burger, breakfast burrito, and a couple bottles of mimosas and everything was so delicious! The staff is super attentive and the wait time for food and drinks was super short, the servers are great! Will definitely be coming back for brunch more often!“
“What a gem. I had a blast. This was a random night that turned into a fun filled night. Great music/karaoke and great atmosphere. People were just having a good time. The staff was great. I didn’t try the food because I didn’t know I was heading out until last minute and I already ate.“
“Wow.... Havent been in for a long while. Far drive and retired and no longer up that way avoiding horrific traffic home from work and in night owl mode . Previously had lasagna and meatloaf to die for ??.Looking for light fare ...ordered the club with chips and real fresh brewed tea.....can't do it justice describing ....absolutely delicious . Five plus hours later ...last part of said sandwich as bedtime snack just as fresh and so mind blowingly good . I want to know where they find real and tasty tomatoes this time of year ....amazing thick slices throughout . Real tomatoes !!! Two thumbs way up ......and ill be back .Tacos folks seated with had .....also just as spectacular ?“
