“I was traveling from just south of Richmond to DC. We stopped at this little gem and was blown away! We took seats at the counter and I could've just watched them all day! Talk about team work! I had the fried chicken Benedict. Oh my! So good! Friendly, great service, awesome food! Are my exclamation points getting on your nerves yet?? I will make this trip again just to eat!“
“I go here all the time and always love going. it is such a lively place, and the waiters are always very nice. the food is always amazing and ones they did mess up my order, but it was a bigger and better burger and even though it was more expensive they still charged the price of the first burger.“
“What an amazing experience it was to discover this place. We had a fabulous brunch, and I must say I am not usually a brunch fan. My tofu scramble burrito was genius and my wife's smoked salmon was delicious and accompanied by the expected (capers) and unexpected (Pico d gallo). Cute, cozy, and unassuming interior and attentive, if busy, staff. We will be back!“
“Loved the Holy Shiitake and Kosmic Karma. Real options for vegetarians and vegans! Solid salads too. Plenty of choices for meat eaters. Robust beer list. Only real minus is that the space is pretty loud and echoes.Vegetarian options: Has a number of tasty vegetarian and vegan options. Yay!“
“A quaint spot in downtown Fredericksburg. The menu offers a good range of options. We had the bourbon wings and the pretzel, both tasty options. The cheese sauce for the pretzel was very good. The smoked char taste of the wings, was also very good. The cocktail menu also offers many options. The Congress Hall was a great bourbon cocktail. Try Rebellion, you will be very happy with the results.Vegetarian options: There are some options available to youDietary restrictions: Dietsry restricted items are availableParking: Free street parking can be hard to find at timesKid-friendliness: You can bring the family hereWheelchair accessibility: Accesible for wheelchairs“
“Such a cute restaurant! Service was amazing, food was delicious and they were very accommodating with the changes I made to my omelette (I have dietary restrictions) They took us in with no wait for a 10 top and everything came out at the same time, super impressed. Great local business!!“
“The food here is pretty decent but it was really loud in there and even though I told the guy behind the counter I couldn't hear him and verified which burger I wanted TWICE he rang me up for a burger that cost twice as much as the one I ordered and when I told him he gave me a $5 coupon for "the next time you're in". I understand that they might have been busy and it might be policy not to refund or anything like that but it was pretty frustrating after I'd tried to communicate it beforehand and it was more then a $5 difference. Oh well...the burgers aren't bad and the place is really cute ?“
“Was busy, service and food on point. Working my way through the menu, had the bangers and mash this time very good.Music, MarJo Deluxe was great, second time listening to them will come back for more.Over all great food, good atmosphere will return!“
“We went through drive thru, the staff noticed I had my dogs with me and asked if they could have a dig biscuit. Just so genuine and friendly. I ordered a large vanilla cone, and 3 burgers (1 for me, andv1 for each of my dogs). They were hot and fresh, and the cone was cold and fresh! Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Fredericksburg!“
“This five guys really should be a 4.5. The burgers came out great. The frys were excellent and the service was top notch. Our order was done quickly and the food was piping hot. The only reasons I didn't give all 5 stars are: this store doesn't have any low tables for groups of 5 or more and while the burger was excellent for a five guys it's still not the best burger I've ever had. With that being said, if you are in the mood for a really good burger and great French fries go here. I almost forgot to mention the excellent soda machines with hundreds of flavors, definitely a big plus.“
“We were early for our reservation. ( i-95 is unpredictable) Seated promptly. Drinks, on point. Appetizers were yum. We especially enjoyed the fried green tomatoes. Great balance. Mains were good. We had pork chop with green beans and fingerling potatoes....the pork chop was definitely a win. Flavor and cooked perfectly, the green beans cooked and seasoned well, but not particularly special. The potatoes were underseasoned, and could've been more crispy. The crab cakes were awesome. Clearly almost no filler! Garlic mash was good, but not outstanding. Creamed spinach was rich as six foot....balanced with the garlic. Overall, yes, we will be back. Amazing service and attention. Don't show without a reservation, and, as clearly stated on the door, no one under 18 yrs of age. Don't show up with an infant carrier.“
“I can’t say enough POSITIVE things about this place. High quality, local meats that my entire family loves. We can rely on them again and again for ingredients we use to make our dog’s special diet (he’s allergic to everything!), and we get delicious steaks, burgers and more for the humans in the house. They even carry dog bones! Thank you for always being dependable and for great customer service !“
“Dive bar in a strip mall with pool tables and gambling machines and good happy hour specials. We had drinks, 3 appetizers and played some pool. We were there bt 6ish & 8.. Service was good . It has the atmosphere of a locals bar but also welcoming ,, maybe cop/military/western themed with pool and gambling? The Theme is not solidified! There are several lists of rules on the door, suggesting they probably need several lists of rules on the door! ? it was fine.“
“Best burgers we've had in a long time. We love in an area where there are several( 10-12) fast food burger options without a 2 mile radius and we hadn't been to Checkers in years. If you haven't been in awhile you should give them a try--- the food is delicious, the Big Buford is out of this world! The fries are by far the best fries we've had in a long time. The 2 for $6 burgers are about the size of a junior Whopper but must tastier and much more fresh. Prices are better then Burger King, Mc Donald's, Sonis, Wendy's, 5 Guys, Arby's, etc. Well worth your time and money, as well as a trip up or/and down Plank Rd in Fredericksburg which most times I avoid one I'm home from work, but Checkers is so good I got back in my car once home and went back down rt 3 just to get a burger. I can't forget to mention their Sweet Iced tea---- again, the best around. Fresh brewed and really sweet! Perfect!“
“Love this place the food is amazing, I've gotten a few burnt burgers here a few times and just recently got a double for the first time and the meat was just a single folded in half. Milkshakes are mostly good, depends on which one you get, personal the chocolate banana shake is the best, they are vary frozen and is best eaten with a spoon. I've only used the drive through and the speaker is not vary clear and makes it hard to understand what they are saying.Parking: Parking spots are right outside the building, not a whole lot, but your able to use the spots for the stores that are near it as the spots nearly connect with the Cook Out building, if Cook Out spots are full.“
“Burgers were delicious and of course fries were fantastic but too salty. I had to rub off salt before I could eat my fries. Service was friendly and helpful. Music was way too loud, I had to yell at my friend so she could hear me. They finally turned it down a little. Biggest complaint was price - 2 small burgers, 1 reg. Fry and a small drink was $29.“
“I love Freddie's French fries! And usually I'd give a 5 star all around but this particular night I went in, the cashiers were not the most pleasant. I didn't have an issue personally, but I watched as the workers got visibly frustrated with some older folks who came in for dinner, and it made me very sad to watch. Not a single problem with my food though! And I could possibly just have gone in on a bad night.“
“My wife and I have been coming here for years. We don't eat Brazier food or mess with Blizzards. Hot fudge malt and caramel shake (no fofo cream/cherry nonsense) along with a bag of Buster Bars. That's the extent of our purchases and they are always very good as is the service. The place is normally very clean with exceptions for lunch rush hour. The store is now updated with the scanner for DQ rewards points and app ordering if you're into that.*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous undiscriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do your self a favor, trust me, or kids emojis etc.. “Quality and service all around this Five Guy's location. The manager was more than accommodating and so polite in assisting me here during my visit. The gentleman named Q was a helpful hand who accurately took my order and ensured every topping and item was mannered properly. As I awaited for my delicious grilled cheese with two patties, I saw how the kitchen took their delicate time to make and perfect my sandwich. The Cajun fries were absolutely delicious, I will be back! Thank you Five Guys!Dietary restrictions: Order lettuce wrapped if you want to cut out carbs.“
“Ordered online for pickup via ActiveMenus. By the time I left my house and drove 10 minutes to the restaurant, my food was ready. I called when I arrived and less than one minute afterwards someone was bringing my food to my car. Quick service and very polite personnel.Parking: Plenty of free parking spaces.“
“I was served from the drive thru. I got a classic double it was so good, but it was too much for me. On my next visit, I got the classic single ( I eat the beef pattie for a source of protein) and frosties for my niece and nephew's.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available on the fast food menu.Kid-friendliness: Kids' meals are available.Wheelchair accessibility: The building is wheelchair accessible.“
“In case you, like me, heard about the bread pudding, yes, it's incredible. Come here and try it. You won't regret it.Anyway, for the real review, I came here for dinner with my friends. It was an incredible meal. I got the beef wellington and, of course, bread pudding for dessert. The beef wellington was a perfect medium rare, as it should be, and was the first time I've eaten a filet mignon in my life and didn't hate it. That's a huge plus! The asparagus that came with it was incredible, too. I know this shouldn't have to be a compliment, but you could taste how fresh both the asparagus and time since it touched the pan (or grill? idk) was.Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes left a lot to be desired. I had my friend taste some, too, just in case, and she confirmed my suspicions: almost tasteless. I had no idea something that interacted with chives could have so little flavor. Thankfully there's table salt available, but I was very disappointed. Mashed potatoes is usually the perfect complement to steak—the Robin to Batman, but in this case I got a filler episode where Robin was on vacation because the actor was busy. One of my friends got the stuffed gouda burger (or something like that), and he enjoyed it, save for a slight lacking of sauce; he said the burger overall was a bit dry, but he made sure to specify that the burger patty was definitely juicy and delicious. His wife ordered the fish & chips (which was my second choice, as it's listed as their signature dish), and she let me try a piece. The fish was incredible, and the tartar sauce, a sauce I normally do not like at all, was perfect for it.In case everybody else hasn't gushed enough about the bread pudding, OMG IT WAS SO GOOD. My only complaint would be that I failed to portion the scoop of ice cream correctly and ran out. That's entirely on me.I gave three stars for atmosphere, and that's mostly preference. I don't like loud areas with a lot of people. Unfortunately, places that serve good food tend to be popular and attract lots of people, especially on a Friday night. This is also entirely on me.What's not on me, though, was the horrible smell of smoke that came up randomly during our dinner. My friends and I suspect somebody got a drink that's served on fire, but we couldn't tell. I saw a little bit of smoke in the air, and it smelled like a bonfire for ten minutes. I did not enjoy that. I don't know if they can accommodate this, but I'll have to remember to ask if there's seating away from the bar area.I 100% intend on returning here some time in the future, and I will update this review with my full thoughts on the fish & chips when I try them at that time.Parking: There is parking available right outside the restaurant, but good luck getting it. Just park a few hundred feet away in the huge mall parking (Macy's, Paragon, etc.) lot and enjoy the outside air for a few extra minutes on your way in.“
