“This is an exclusive Salvadorian food restaurant. You may find pupusas, carne asada, fried tilapia, among other traditional dishes from El Salvador?? .Their best dishes are available during the weekend like beef and mondongo (tripe) stews. It's a family clean and friendly environment. Take a chance to try their food. I would d say it's the best of all in Fredericksburg.“
“we were there with a big party (>20 people) and although they were a bit late to give us our table (about 30mins past the reservation time), it is quite understandable and their food and service more than made up for the wait.A great place with great food and great staff. no complain at all.“

“This is a hidden gem in Fredericksburg, as the food was amazing. I got the mi casa sampler since it offered a bit of everything. The side of Yucca tasted fresh and homemade. They also offer a happy hour 3-6 and I even got myself an Pina colada. I highly recommend this place due to its high quality food and great prices!“
“OVERALL: hidden gem with authentic and delicious food!! FOOD: we came across this restaurant because we were looking for latin food. We got 3 pupusas (revueltas which is a mixture of pork and cheese I believe, and loroco which is a plant and cheese) and the grilled shrimp platter. Great portions. I also had the horchata. It was non traditional in that I could taste a hot chocolate mixture but it was still good. SERVICE: you order and pay at the cashier then seat yourself. Plastic utensils are off to the side by the wall but you can request proper silverware. We were attended to quickly. VENUE: the restaurant is pretty big with ample seating for different group sizes. It's decorated with beautiful latin American arrangements. It's a mom and pop business it seems with more of a diner atmosphere which makes it homey.“
“This is the spot! I’m not from the area but ended up finding this gem when I was in the area for work. Not only is the food amazing but so is the staff, absolute service with a smile. I appreciate all food that’s made with love and passion and I was not disappointed with J’Angelas. All of then food was so flavorful and delicious, but I think my favorite were the custard filled plantain desert empanadas ??“
