“My friend and I had a delightful lunch experience at a Vietnamese restaurant in the area a while back. Spring rolls were cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and moist interior. Beef pho was warm and full of flavor. We loved the texture of the perfectly grilled squid in the mixed vegetable salad, which was even more delicious with the dipping sauce. The beef was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the rice. The interior decor of the restaurant was lovely, and the large windows let in plenty of sunlight. I highly recommend this place.”

It was my wife's birthday and I couldn't have picked a better restaurant to celebrate. We WILL be returning with the kids later this month. Just Fabulous.”

I don't eat seafood, but my friends adore the sushi -- I used to live in Japan though, so even though I don't eat seafood, I love to go here for the delicious Tempura, Udon, Curry, and Katsu -- delicious and has a cozy environment with friendly staff! Oh and their house salad as the most delicious carrot ginger dressing!”

“As a Seattleite/Pacific Northwesterner & overall connoisseur of craft brewing, I’m proud to say that Juicy Brewing has become my favorite brewery! That speaks volumes since breweries such as Great Notion, Cascade Barrel House, Holy Mountain and many more top notch breweries are in my neighborhood. Whoever’s in charge here has some skills! Last week I was fortunate to visit Juicy again and was tickled to time it just right with the ANCHOVY variant drop of their AE OPAQUE!!! Juicy’s OPAQUE series are top tier hazy’s and each variant is unique and perfectly prepared. Along with their hazy offerings, the sours are out of this world! Quaint, cozy and cool is how I’d describe Juicy Brewing. Although I love their quirky glassware, I feel I’m being shorted a bit and would love other glassware/ pour options. Here in the PNW we drink hazy’s in full pint glasses and I’d love to see that or other options offered. That said; they don’t run a tab, so remember what you had! When you’re done it’s up to you to remember what you had…so be honest! Jaja. Never experienced that before. If you’re into Craft beer, especially hazy IPAs, double hazy IPAs and sours, you’ll love the vibe in this little nano knock out! **If you’re inclined, hit up Enatye Ethiopian Restaurant right around the corner for a truly magical and harmonious evening. “This is Sushi Umi located in Herndon, VA. It's a great Japanese restaurant that has great food and sushi. The setting is super cute and the service was great. My waitress was really nice and attentive. She always made sure that I had everything I needed. The star of the show is the "Taste of Umi" which allows you to taste several dishes. My favorites were the eel and the fish roe!!! Just when I thought the meal was over, the chef gave me an extra piece on the house!!! It was a lovely tuna bite. Check it out if you have some time.”

“Since I recently discovered Knossos, I have been back twice. This small restaurant is tucked into an Eldon strip mall and would be easy to overlook. When I called in my order, I as impressed with the courtesy and ease of the process. The man took my order, read it back, gave me the price and told me when I could pick it up. When I arrived, the food was ready, and the counterman checked the order to make sure nothing was missing (what a concept). The food was fresh well prepared and very good. And it was reasonably priced. The gyro, falafel, and salads were all good and the portions generous, and they do not skimp on hummus or tatsiki. There are a wide variety of appetizers and menu items, all I tried were good and I especially recommend the Greek fries, which are seasoned and served with feta cheese. Knossos also makes a surprisingly good burger, single or double. If you are looking for a quick alternative to your takeout routine, I highly recommend Knossos for good, reasonably priced, fresh food. And the staff is friendly, efficient, fast and they definitely take pride in their food and want to make sure the customers enjoy your meal.”

“In town with my family for vacation and ended up here twice! Food, drinks and the service was amazing both times. The kids meals are huge and my son loved his both times. The price of everything is also extremely reasonable, especially with how big the portions are. I would highly recommend this place.”
“Bollywood themed Indian snacking place on Elden street. You will find plenty of parking outside and the place is also friendly for wheelchair or stroller entrance. The staff is very friendly and they serve you with smile. They are kids friendly too. They have self service where they call your bill token number and you have to collect your food from counter. The whole place has a 90s Bollywood theme. Every table top is laminated with 90s Bollywood movie posters. You will find more of the North Indian snacks here. We tried masala chai which was tasty full of cardamom taste with bread pakoda. The bread pakoda looked like they have refried it but it tasted as exactly as Indian food stalls sell. We also tried their dabheli but can feel it was so so not that tasty. It only has masala potatoes in it no crunch. The chutney’s server was also so watery. So would not suggest to try their dabheli but you can try other things. There chole bhature looks amazing so probably we will try it next time. They have small juice center too inside. You can get fresh fruit juices here and tasty tasty falooda also and if you are bored go try their game room. Check it out soon”

All of our guests raved about the food, in particular the beef strogonoff, the filet mignon (best ever), the dumplings, meatballs, duck, quail, and pistachio cheesecake were excellent. The service was impeccable and of course the ambiance was gorgeous. One of our guests mentioned it was the best event he ever attended, which was high praise as he is a connoisseur of fine dining. Russia House is a hidden gem in downtown Herndon and I would highly recommend it.”

“We just moved to Herndon (va) and have been so busy unpacking and repairing or updating things inside and outside, that we are too tired to cook. We got a flier, in the mail, just days ago.we ordered on line and it arrived pretty quickly to our house, super nice delivery man, who i think works directly for them.i love their flier/ad, it says “your taste buds & wallet will thank you”.. they were right! you get a lot of food for the price with ONLY a 3 buck delivery fee, but we gave a nice sized extra tip as well.we will “dine in” next time, and try some other foods but this time the hubby had the hot pesto chicken philly & cheese sub. he loved it. and i had the ham and cheese sub. very fresh!”
“I appreciate the pride and effort made by the owner to prepare food that is organic, fresh, without the use of salt or seed oils. You can tell they are proud of what they are providing and the customer service is excellent as they cater to your needs and are patient with explanations of the menu w/ recommendations. The lasagna was a big hit, the jackfruit bbq sandwich was tasty served with asain potatoes and a salad. All of the portions were a good size. There are only 2 to 3 mnoenu items without tofu. They also serve plenty of healthy muffins and cookies. Pizza can be ordered in advance on select days, which I haven't tried yet. A few people like to add their own hot sauce or pinch of salt but I found my food tasty as is. If this were a local establishment, I would be a regular customer. This is the type of venue I enjoy supporting and seek for healthier eating. The restaurant is cute, neat and clean. They were nice and served us outside at the bench since it was a nice day.”

No where on Uber Eats did this charge show, only their delivery fee of .49 cents, taxes and tip. I pay a yearly subscription for Uber Eats that will now be canceled. After all was said and done the bill came out to $75. The food here was good, portions small and not worth $75.”

“This is a cafe that I’ve been coming to for breakfast and lunch at least once a week for the past two years. One thing to know is that this isn’t American food disguised with French branding. The menu is not extensive, but it is the most authentic French café food that I’ve seen outside of France. The sandwiches and desserts are excellent. My favorite is the Jambon Beurre sandwich, which I find myself ordering over and over, while reminding myself I need to sample other items on the menu.The dining room design is casual and inviting. It makes you want to stay and enjoy the atmosphere, which admittedly, is a problem at lunchtime as it can get quite crowded given the popularity of this café.Mary has done a terrific job of creating an experience that delivers lovely, authentic French cafe food, with caring (if sometimes overworked at lunchtimes) staff, in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. “First, please note, this is a Napoletana style Pizza place, which is not to be confused with NY type pizza, nor Chicago type pizza, nor Pizza Hut type pizza. You might be disappointed if you are expecting those types of pizza. Also, this is not a low end pizzeria, and their food is made fresh on premises. We live nearby in a walkable distanced home, and so we frequent this place fairly often, and my wife is a picky eater who has liked everything that we've ordered here, appetizers, salads, and pizza. We have found the service to be very snappy (fast), friendly and efficient. I consider this a top notch fast casual, no-waiter type restaurant that provides good value. Worth a try if you've never had Napoletana style pizza.”

“We came in for a lunch after riding on the WO&D trail. They were easily accessible from the trail/parking. There are a ton of spots to put your bike inbetween the two buildings (Aslin & their food side). Mid-day there were plenty of open tables both inside and outside. There were 4 dogs visiting, so they are definitely dog friendly. The beer was great (we ordered the IPAs) and food was also good. We had the pizza and fry-chos. They do offer high chairs if you are dining with younger children. They also had an arcade area that some older children were enjoying while waiting for their food.”

“I appreciate the pride and effort made by the owner to prepare food that is organic, fresh, without the use of salt or seed oils. You can tell they are proud of what they are providing and the customer service is excellent as they cater to your needs and are patient with explanations of the menu w/ recommendations. The lasagna was a big hit, the jackfruit bbq sandwich was tasty served with asain potatoes and a salad. All of the portions were a good size. There are only 2 to 3 mnoenu items without tofu. They also serve plenty of healthy muffins and cookies. Pizza can be ordered in advance on select days, which I haven't tried yet. A few people like to add their own hot sauce or pinch of salt but I found my food tasty as is. If this were a local establishment, I would be a regular customer. This is the type of venue I enjoy supporting and seek for healthier eating. The restaurant is cute, neat and clean. They were nice and served us outside at the bench since it was a nice day.”

My go-to's are their beef Phở and grilled pork Bánh Mì. Today I tried their weekly special, Bún Riêu, and it totally hit the spot. Will definitely be returning.”

I ordered my food, but also wanted some great red wine.My server recognized me, and understood when I asked how long the bottle of red that I wanted was open.Within a few minutes… someone (who was clearly the front of the house manager); yelled out loud “Am I giving this away?” Because I wanted a sample.My server tried to talk her down, and in the meantime, the daytime drunks sitting at the bar chimed in about free samples.You need to figure out how you want to sell wine.Don’t you dare expect a guest to pay a chunk of change for vinegar (wine opened for more than 6 hours)…especially when you carry a decent wine list.Give your guests some credit. And please… don’t embarrass us when we ask for a taste of an open bottle.”

“Service was amazing. Doesn't feel rushed at all and waiter was very friendly and attentive. Had about a 5-10 min wait on a Sunday around 10:30ish. Tables are fairly close together, but if you don't mind being close to strangers you won't mind. Food was amazing. Everything was so good. I had a maple turkey bacon platter. 3 strips of bacon, eggs, hash browns and biscuit. You can also choose home fries instead of hash browns and toast or an English muffin instead of the biscuit. I was least impressed by the biscuit, you can tell they're home made, but they lack flavor, even with butter to me (I don't eat jelly often). If the biscuit had a little more flavor this would be an easy 5 star spot. Def a mom and pop type spot, don't expect the fancy bells and whistles, but expect good food.”

“We had a group of 14 people for a birthday celebration and it could not have been better. All of our guests raved about the food, in particular the beef strogonoff, the filet mignon (best ever), the dumplings, meatballs, duck, quail, and pistachio cheesecake were excellent. The service was impeccable and of course the ambiance was gorgeous. One of our guests mentioned it was the best event he ever attended, which was high praise as he is a connoisseur of fine dining. Russia House is a hidden gem in downtown Herndon and I would highly recommend it.”
“My friend and I had a delightful lunch experience at a Vietnamese restaurant in the area a while back. Spring rolls were cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and moist interior. Beef pho was warm and full of flavor. We loved the texture of the perfectly grilled squid in the mixed vegetable salad, which was even more delicious with the dipping sauce. The beef was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the rice. The interior decor of the restaurant was lovely, and the large windows let in plenty of sunlight. I highly recommend this place.”

“Bollywood themed Indian snacking place on Elden street. You will find plenty of parking outside and the place is also friendly for wheelchair or stroller entrance. The staff is very friendly and they serve you with smile. They are kids friendly too. They have self service where they call your bill token number and you have to collect your food from counter. The whole place has a 90s Bollywood theme. Every table top is laminated with 90s Bollywood movie posters. You will find more of the North Indian snacks here. We tried masala chai which was tasty full of cardamom taste with bread pakoda. The bread pakoda looked like they have refried it but it tasted as exactly as Indian food stalls sell. We also tried their dabheli but can feel it was so so not that tasty. It only has masala potatoes in it no crunch. The chutney’s server was also so watery. So would not suggest to try their dabheli but you can try other things. There chole bhature looks amazing so probably we will try it next time. They have small juice center too inside. You can get fresh fruit juices here and tasty tasty falooda also and if you are bored go try their game room. Check it out soon”

“We gave Mari Sushi Bar and Lounge in Herndon a try for my husband’s birthday, and it is now my favorite sushi spot! Everything was incredible-fresh, flavorful, and filling. Hands down the best dynamite roll I’ve had, and even the fish I usually pass over were so good I kept going back to them.
