“It was my first time coming to this place. The guy who took my order was super nice. The tacos are really good. The ambience is good too. It's clean and tidy. I believe they have outdoor sitting when weather is nice. I ordered three tacos and a side of guacamole. I would definitely come back!“
“My niece and I came for the Tamales cooking class. Chef Tomas was the best. Very friendly and his love for cooking is contagious. Our tasting included the Tamales, tacos and empanada. All DELICIOUS. We ended staying for the cocktail class. Lots of fun. Great vibe. Great people. Samet was our instructor for the Tequila tasting. He too was very friendly and made the whole experience a lot of fun. We drove from Baltimore for the event today and it was well worth it. We'll be back.“
“We catered in Casa de Avila for a birthday party and it was such a hit! I knew their food was great after having it at their food truck, but catering in food can sometimes be a different experience. Thankfully, the catered food was just as good because they put care and quality into the prep and delivery! I can appreciate that it’s difficult to prep a larger size of food and deliver it fresh and in a way that upholds the quality of the food. They have everything down to a science. The employee who delivered everything was on time, professional, and careful! Their communication with scheduling and planning was outstanding which is very important to me. I highly recommend Casa de Avila for authentic delicious Mexican food! Best tacos in the area! ❤️“
“Great halal place. Just a suggestion to put out the halal zabiha certificate somewhere it’s visible to your customer. We asked the cashier whether it’s halal. She said everything in the menu is halal. She also provided the owner’s name.Anyways, tacos were delicious. They were loaded with ingredients and flavor. Just wondering, why only soft tacos? Why not crunchy tacos also? Quesedillas was tasty. Churos were so yummy?. I enjoyed every bite of it. They were crunchy from outside and soft and creamy from inside. I highly recommend this place. I will be going there again and again.“
“I love traditional Mexican food, but what I love more are *options*. Bartaco consistently has some choices for vegetarians & a creative spin on tacos & bowls. The baja fish tacos - we topped ours with a kimchee side - so good! & their tuna/bibb lettuce appetizer was a great bite. Waiting for the return of flash friend avaocado tacos. Service is dependably friendly. I usually get takeout - am immunocompromised, so, no busy eateries for me - & their taco family packs make that simple. Fun place, friendly service, cute decor - great cocktails, too.“
“Great hole in the wall spot on the second floor. Food is delicious - not too oily so tacos don't get soggy. Great range of menu options. The steak, beef, chicken are halal.Dietary restrictions: The meat (chicken, beef) is halalParking: Strip mall with lots of spots to park“
“Visited for the first time this evening and loved it! Sat at the bar and talked with the really friendly and helpful waitstaff/bar tenders. There was music playing, but not nearly as loud as some of the other places, so it was very nice to sit and talk with the person I was with. The happy hour drink and food specials are great and go on until 7pm every day! Once our food arrived, we were completely sold. We got 4 different tacos and all were wonderful! Very full tacos with lots of flavor. All the meats were juicy and delicious and the pico and corn salsas were obviously fresh and full of color and flavor. We will definitely be back!!“
“If you're looking for an international version of a greasy spoon, this is it! Food is superb. Prices are reasonable for anywhere, let alone NOVA. Atmosphere is attractively rough around the edges. And they have good beer on tap. Highly recommend!“
“Outstanding nachos! Perfect complement of cotija cheese and sautéed veggies. And the chips were robust enough to could keep up with my aggressive scoops. I’m 25 minutes from this place and I’d considered driving back just for another run at the nachos.“
“Best taco bamba in my opinion. Plenty of parking spots. Fast service. Food is goodVegetarian options: Depends on the menu, they have a coupleDietary restrictions: Ask the employee, they would be better helpParking: Open space parking lot, unique shopping center but enough parking spots if not the weekend or busy dayKid-friendliness: Clean and friendly environmentWheelchair accessibility: Not really accessible“
“Giving 4 stars because I had one of the absolute best steak quesadillas I’ve ever had here a week or two ago. I went back today but it seems they switched the meat and I am not sure how to feel about it… :( also there’s a blob of mayonnaise in place of sour cream. Maybe an off day?“
“The food was absolutely delicious!! My friends and I have been wanting to try out this restaurant and I think we’ve found our new hangout spot. Our waiter was very attentive, everything we ordered was very tasty, and the Latin music added a fun and lively atmosphere. We felt very welcomed and we will probably come back this next week. Highly recommend!!“
