“Visited Kenney's while traveling from Washington D.C. to North Carolina. It was easy enough to get to off of 81 and equally as easy to get back to 81 after your meal. It was a Friday at lunchtime and there was almost a line out the door. The line moved relatively quickly. I'll say it is kinda hard to see the whole menu from the far right side of the counter where you place your order. The order process itself is quick and easy then grab a seat and wait for your order to be called. This is one of those places where they shout your whole order to the restaurant when it is ready so...just be aware. LOL I got a snack pak with mac and cheese and a hot dog with chili and mustard. The hot dog was pretty basic but good. Chili was slightly sweet and the bun was super soft. In the snack pack, I got a wing and a big thigh, mac and cheese, and a biscuit with honey. The mac and cheese was ok. This is runny mac and I prefer mac that holds its shape a bit more. Also, the side serving is pretty small. The biscuit is not what I'd typically call a biscuit but it was good especially with the provided honey. The meal so far would just be three stars but the fried chicken took this up a whole extra star. That's great fried chicken. Incredibly well-seasoned and SO crispy. I will definitely be getting Kenney's next time I'm passing through Lexington.“

“Waitresses went above and beyond to help me retrieve my car keys out of a cubby hole in my car. Also the best waitresses I have had there. Was in there around 7pm Wednesday night. I'm sorry I didn't get thier names but one girl had blonde hair and the other girl had curly hair put up in afro puffs. Great “

“If I could give more stars I would! Out of all the places we've ate at in Lexington, this was by far the best! The buns on the BLT and burger were so soft and sooo good! Fries were hot and fresh! Sangria, I wish I could make it that way! A little loud inside but it is a Bar atmosphere.. service was quick and friendly! Highly recommended!“

“Traveling through and after a late hotel check-in, the Cook Outs' drive thru was open. NICE. We grabbed some corn dogs, chicken strips, and fries with some Cook Out sauce and drinks. The line moved quickly, and we were back at the Holiday Inn in under 20 minutes. The food was very good and the sauce was fantastic. Thanks, Cook Out!!!“

“What a super place! Had breakfast. Yummy farm-to-table food. Very friendly staff and service. You can tell they genuinely care about the community and each individual that comes through. Love that it's female owned too! The hearts abound in decor and spirit! Thank you, ladies.“
