“A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?“

“Service was excellent, even a special attention on the menu for the Anniversary we were coming from and also a complimentary dessert with a candle. Very touching attention. Foods were great and very well presented. We just removed one start because on one of our main dishes the lamb kebab was really too salty for us but all the rest was perfect. Our alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were excellent too. Great overall experience and we definitely recommend.“

We went ahead and checked it out for breakfast since it wasn't quite lunchtime - the food taste and quality was amazing! We had a egg and cheese on a bagel, a breakfast burrito, and a smoothie.The service is fantastic, everyone working behind the counter is so friendly.The food was prepared quickly and was hot and fresh. They also offer smoothies, assorted beverages, coffee, espresso drinks, and even have beers and sake. The atmosphere is like a really cute little deli with a few tables and a sushi bar.The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions, we're definitely planning to come back for breakfast sometime and want to try their Japanese lunch options. “My wife and I went for Easter brunch. Food as always along with service was top notch. I like Arti's. The restaurant gives me that when I was a child (many moons ago LOL) and my Mom would take me to a cool restaurant for dinner after church type of feeling. Again food selections were great only thing was, they discontinued Chicken and Waffles on the menu. This was sort of a let down because that was the dish we had many times for Easter Brunch. When I asked the manager he explained that upper management revamped the menus throughout the Great American restaurants after the fire. I look forward to the next time my wife and I have dinner here. I hope that maybe upper management can find it in their heart to bring back the Chicken and waffles. Thanks for the good times.“

“The decor! The service! The food! The Wren is open late and the quality is superb. I had an attentive server who had tried everything on the menu and gave his honest opinions. Dishes are typically izakaya style (like tapas / small plates). I was eating alone and had the sushi special and the fried corn. Service was attentive but not overly so. When eating alone, sometimes you feel rushed to leave and this wasn't the case! It was also 9/10pm on a Wednesday, for what it's worth. Virginia G&T - not my favorite but it was pretty and large! I'm more of a white linen girl and this pretty much tasted like gin and plain soda water (not enough cucumber or citrus) Corn tempura - sweet corn with sea beans in like a patty shape that's tempura fried. The corn is sweet and so incredibly flavorful. I don't know what the dipping sauce was but I loved it. I was also impressed by the matcha salt... A beautiful touch Off menu special - spicy tuna w/ cucumber, topped with smoked salmon and truffle miso. I'm not a fan of smoked salmon but this was almost infused with smoke. It's tangy, not overly spicy, and fresh Shaved ice - I wasn't going to do it. I wasn't. But man am I glad I did! Matcha flavored shaved ice is incredibly light yet still flavorful, raspberry soft serve is potent and tastes of fresh fruit (they keep two flavors on deck, made in the back), and the black bean paste adds a sweet and weightier dessert presence to the dish. Definitely give it a chance, even if you're feeling full! It's just ice :) It was only $63 for my entire meal. Maybe I'm still shocked because I'm used to paying Californian prices, but I'm here for it! I can't speak to the location/parking, but I can speak to the convenience if you're staying at the WaterMark hotel.“

“We came to Ocean Paradise for a celebration and it delivered. The food was fantastic. The service was also great. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms, the salmon with Asian marinade with the country mashed potatoes and the Caesar salad, two kids fried shrimp, the Cajun salmon, a side of lobster and scallops. Everything was fantastic. The sauces were incredible, but the seafood preparation was perfection for everything we ordered. While simple, whatever sauce or seasoning they put on their white rice, was special. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.“

The most disappointing was the dessert, it was more of a tasting than a small plate. “Tucked away in an obscure strip shopping center, this was a great find. It had a nice bistrot atmosphere, with a substantial menu of Italian and continental dishes. The dishes (my wife had mixed grill and I had a branzino with smoked salmon) were carefully prepared and portions were larger than you usually get in more refine restaurants these days. The service was very professional, and even though Saturday night, the food came out much faster than I expected. There was even live soft jazz. With low lighting and a decent wine list, this is a good escape from chains such as the Great American restaurants, suitable for date night and small family or friends dinners.“

“Pretty good food at a reasonable price. This restaurant is very popular with the younger set, and there was quite a gathering of young working adults letting off some steam. Coincidentally, there were also a number of older couples like us coming for the good food at a decent price. It was pretty crowded for a Thursday evening, but we got a table at the height of the dinner hour. I imagine it would have waiting times on weekends. We had prime rib, nicely done, and salads. Fresh bread comes with the meal. A bit noisy, but the service was good.“

“I came here with a friend to play darts. While I didn't get food I did come here to grab a drink and check out the area... The Cue Club is a sports bar and pool hall if you enjoy going with a group of friends for a night out. I think it has the essentials of a good sports bar. Draft beer, good food ( I haven't tried it but the bulgogi sub looks good ), and pool, darts, and foosball for people to play. Service wise it took a minute for me to flag someone down to order some beer but beers did come out quick once I did confirm my order in. I don't know if the cocktails are good but we'll have to try again another time. For what I came here for, darts are in a separate room like the pool tables, and it's very spacious. The darts were available if you chip in 5 dollars, play all you want really. I honestly had fun learning how to play cricket but it is a long game. Although I didn't win against my friend this is enticing enough for me to play more when my friends are available. It's also across the street from O'MyChic so familiar territory for me.“

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“

“What can you not say about a place that has craft beer coming out the door, great food incl vegetarian options and above all, staff that care. I’m from Canada, sorry. I was lucky to come here a couple of times. The first time it was with a new staff member being trained. As I drank my delicious IPA and ate my monster pretzel I saw mentoring and tips on how this newbie could fly. On the second visit it was a “casual pint” to decompress after some challenging news. It was the same guy who was training the other day. Beers were suggested, lil tastes given and the beer selected made the conversation. Luis thank you for being a highlight of the trip.
