“Surf Rider recommended to us by a friend. We were so pleased. The Seafood so fresh and amazing. We had oysters and tuna bites for an appetizer and brought home flounder plate. Huge piece of flounder cooked perfectly. Our server, Brandi, took great care of us. She was so busy and yet so attentive to us. Can't wait to go back. Also beautiful view!”

“By far the best Chinese food in Poquoson. This is your typical no frills Chinese restaurant, not really a place to sit down but great for some reasonably priced takeout. I'm pretty set in my menu selections, so I recommend the fried rice and lo mein. I especially love the chicken fried rice, it's just fantastic. Overall, a good joint with good flavor and value.”

“We frequently get take-out subs and salads from the Poquoson Subway. There are great variety of subs that they Subway staff can make for you and you can either eat-in or take-out. Also, most people don't realize that any sub order can also be ordered as a salad that doesn't include the bread. We enjoy the Honey Oat and Wheat buns for our take-out subs. The Subway preparation team are friendly, courteous, and polite. This Subway also has available 4 types of cookies to top-off your meals. The subs provided are filling and delicious.”

“My husband and I join another couple from time to time to try new restaurants, as we all consider ourselves "foodies". They had gone to Circa recently, and were excited for us to try it as well. I had heard of Circa because I'd been given a gift card a couple years ago, but I lost it, and only had the envelope and gift card receipt. From the time we walked in to the time we walked out, my husband and I received nothing but the best service. Our waiter, Regina, was exceptional - professional, personable and attentive. She sold my husband on Friday night's entire special. I had the mushroom and leek soup, brisket wontons and bison meatloaf. I'm not ashamed to say I did not come up for air. I ate it all! The pairings, textures, layers of flavor and portion sizes were everything. And to top it all off, I told Regina about my gift card mishap, and the manager honored the card! I was blown away by this dining experience; it was awesome.”
