Angela’s doesn’t typically deliver, but when I called, I spoke to their manager, Sharon, and she made a special exception just for this occasion and made this delivery. Top notch customer service, and according to the recipient, the food is also the best. ☺️“
“First time in...Overall, food was good. Not great like "wow authentic italian", but good enough to go back.The arancini appetizer was good. They would be better if they were bigger than bite size and had more rice.For entrees, we got 2 kids fettuccine Alfredo. We paid extra to add chicken to make it a more "complete" meal. We also got the Manicotti (wife) and calzone (me). Wife really liked the Manicotti.The calzone was only "ok". The ham inside was cold, not enough ricotta cheese in my opinion, the dough was too "doughy" and not crisp enough and they almost ruined the calzone by covering the top with a TON of grated cheese (think canned stuff you get at the grocery store). Calzones DONT come with grated cheese on top! Its all about the mozz and ricotta... The sauce served with it had great flavor.Next time, I wouldn't get a calzone even though that's my Italian go-to..“
“Ok... Friday Food Critic night at Rosa's. Menu Item - Steak and Cheese, loaded down, Double meat, Double Cheese with Fries. Honestly, the sub was freaking awesome! Reeeaaalllly close to 5 stars. I will say... the double meat is not necessary. It was almost too much, but that's what we ordered and it we desired a big Ole sloppy mess to clean up afterwards with a fork. The only thing that held back a 5 star is the lack of Hoagie Spread at the establishment (we used our own... it's a must have with a proper steak and cheese), the crinkle cut fries (Honestly, who likes crinkle cut fries?), and the general quality of the meat. It was not bad meat. But is wasn't GOOOOOOD flavorful steak either.Would I get it again. Hell yeah, still the best on this side of Richmond. I've only ever had a true 5 star steak and cheese experience a handful of times in my life, so this I feel like is really good.Oh,The folks are nice and the atmosphere is exactly what you expect and even desire from a small local pizza joint.Oh, 95% of the time, the pizza is ON too... but that's forbade different review.“

“The Italian dishes offered were not as flavorful as some restaurants I have eating at, however all the salads were top of the line. I really enjoyed my tuna fish on salad greens ? and my companions all enjoyed their different salads as well. One person commented that she enjoyed the eggplant Parmesan a lot.“
“Just a gem of a spot where you least expect it. Local products and great food all under one roof. The smash burger is amazing and the reuben even better. The beers and other beverages were great, and the products all throughout the store were not only cute but led to an adorable Rural Virginia ambiance. It's a bunch of local kids it feels like serving you, which is also adorable, and every one of them was so nice! I'm definitely coming back.“
