Strawberry Street Cafe in good 'ol Richmond, Virginia. One of my favorite spots, food is consistently good with great service as well. Located in a neighborhood setting with on street parking. There is also a place behind the restaurant in an alley. Good way to start off our "Tacky-Light Tour" of Christmas lighting in Richmond. Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I had the chicken pot pie with fries and onion rings, and my girlfriend had the Denver omelette with cheesy hash browns. I thought the pot pie was delicious. A good mix of chicken and potatoes and veggies. The sauce was also very good. My girlfriend really liked her omelette - was loaded with meat and veggies as well. We were greeted quickly and seated. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was well-seasoned, the right temperature, and delicious. I enjoyed the sunrise burrito and my friend had the chicken and waffles. We shared a pitcher of mimosas. I would definitely return and will recommend to friends.
