“We had a lovely Easter brunch outside on the front patio. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Easy to check in to our reservation and they were able to accommodate our request to sit outside. Kids menu worked well for our 2 children (4&6) and my husband and I loved the grouper sandwich. Great experience and lovely setting.“

“I order or sit at Miyabi almost every week. Everything I have ever ordered always tastes and looks amazing in my opinion. Everyone is always friendly and I love how they remember my face now, so whenever I come in they bring me my food instantly when it’s ready. “I have been coming here for years. My husband and I love to do this as a date frequently! We each order a Sumo Attack and start with the rock and roll shrimp. It’s a ton of food so make sure you are hungry. The chef chooses the cuts of fish and it’s never a let down (for true sushi lovers!) I think my sister even had her 21st bday party here!“
“As far as sushi places go, this one is a keeper.It's a small storefront, so the dining room can feel a little cramped when it's full on a Saturday, but it wasn't loud. The host is very gracious and the service was delivered well. Food was good, edamame was fresh and hot, combo #8 was almost enough for two, plus a couple extra sashimi. The mackerel was perfect. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth checking out.“

“Even if you're not particularly a fish person, their other food is absolutely amazing. I almost want to move to RVA so I can have their gyoza and chicken basil thai dish everyday ? we actually went back a second time and tried the chefs choice Sashimi as well and again it did not disappoint in the slightest! Both times, the staff were amazing, incredibly helpful, and accommodating (one visit was with a large group (10) the other was just my boyfriend and I). Very reasonably priced as well! We were seated immediately both times too!“
“I visited for first time a few nights ago. The pricing for the food is what it is definitely delicious service was good. The only tiny gripe that I have was that i wanted crab salad but they weirdly only had spicy crab salad.? which is to me a little backward, normally it's standard crab salad. Tho next time I visit I might ask to try the tiniest little bit to see if I like it cuz not everybody likes/ can handle spicy stuff and I hope it's not too overwhelming.“

“My favorite sushi place, have been many times over the years it’s been there, we go whenever we’re in Carytown. Sushi is always fresh and tasty, ramen is good, teriyaki is delicious, quick service and food made fast, though last time I went it was one waitress taking care of everything, gotta hire more people if you want the place to run smoothly and fast!“

“We had the entire restaurant to ourselves for a little and the customer service was great!!! Even after some customers came in, our customer service was still good. The margarita was delicious and we loved the giant single ice cube in it. The sushi rolls were on the small side, but happy hour price Maki rolls are not bad. The restaurant is well decorated and has cute vibe inside. It was an easy stroll from the canal walk to the restaurant. Food was good. Not the best best taste and quality of Thai food that we have had. 5 for service and atmosphere“
“Read reviews to move me to choose; my daughter and I went on a Saturday night around 8:20pm and it was pretty busy — save time to park! Waited about 30 minutes for a table — no sufficient waiting area. The menu is inviting but a LOT of spicy options. Server offered suggestions and was friendly. Food was, sadly, not as good as expected. Wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t memorable. Ordered Alligator Roll; server recommended wasabi aioli on the side to cut the spiciness but should’ve suggested spicy mayo on the side too because mine was drowning in it, which may have impacted my enjoyment. Salmon wontons were ok — I tasted one of my daughter’s but didn’t crave another. Also had yellowtail nigiri and while the fish was good the rice was a little hard and chewy. Soy sauce bottle on table was comically empty — lucky I only needed a few drops! Decor and atmosphere are very nice! Service was great — server was courteous, but hostess was a bit absent and told us there were “several” parties waiting ahead of us when it turned out to be one…“
