“I live Yoshi Sushi! They have always given me great service and very tasty food. I worked with sushi restaurants for about 10 years and I can say that the quality is great for the price. I always get the Tropical roll, it’s like dessert. The sushi rice is delicious, cooked just right. Nothing worse than sushi with overcooked rice. The foods that come from the kitchen are also great. Shrimp and veggie tempura, hibachi, and yaki soba are among my favorites.“
“I order or sit at Miyabi almost every week. Everything I have ever ordered always tastes and looks amazing in my opinion. Everyone is always friendly and I love how they remember my face now, so whenever I come in they bring me my food instantly when it’s ready. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for quality sushi, hibachi and etc.“
“Even if you're not particularly a fish person, their other food is absolutely amazing. I almost want to move to RVA so I can have their gyoza and chicken basil thai dish everyday ? we actually went back a second time and tried the chefs choice Sashimi as well and again it did not disappoint in the slightest! Both times, the staff were amazing, incredibly helpful, and accommodating (one visit was with a large group (10) the other was just my boyfriend and I). Very reasonably priced as well! We were seated immediately both times too!“
“I have been coming here for years. My husband and I love to do this as a date frequently! We each order a Sumo Attack and start with the rock and roll shrimp. It’s a ton of food so make sure you are hungry. The chef chooses the cuts of fish and it’s never a let down (for true sushi lovers!) I think my sister even had her 21st bday party here!“
“As far as sushi places go, this one is a keeper.It's a small storefront, so the dining room can feel a little cramped when it's full on a Saturday, but it wasn't loud. The host is very gracious and the service was delivered well. Food was good, edamame was fresh and hot, combo #8 was almost enough for two, plus a couple extra sashimi. The mackerel was perfect. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth checking out.“
“I didn’t get my miso soup till it came with the check, but I survived, since the Maki combo was a steal. Basically eighteen pieces of sushi for eighteen dollars! The fish was freshhhh and I was a happy gurl after my meal. It was a little slow, but the staff was getting stuff done!! I support Osaka, and I would 100% chow down on that maki combo again ???? ? “
“We had the entire restaurant to ourselves for a little and the customer service was great!!! Even after some customers came in, our customer service was still good. The margarita was delicious and we loved the giant single ice cube in it. The sushi rolls were on the small side, but happy hour price Maki rolls are not bad. The restaurant is well decorated and has cute vibe inside. It was an easy stroll from the canal walk to the restaurant. Food was good. Not the best best taste and quality of Thai food that we have had. 5 for service and atmosphere“
“My favorite sushi place, have been many times over the years it’s been there, we go whenever we’re in Carytown. Sushi is always fresh and tasty, ramen is good, teriyaki is delicious, quick service and food made fast, though last time I went it was one waitress taking care of everything, gotta hire more people if you want the place to run smoothly and fast!“
“This place was professional, fun, and friendly from the top down. We made a reservation for 10 people including two toddlers. From the moment you sit down you are greeted and asked for drinks, which came out promptly. From there, you immediately get soup, then salad, and if you're ready to order, your chef will be out in 10 minutes or less. They were so nice to our kids and they were mesmerized by the cooking, and the food tasted incredible. From the moment we sat down until the moment we left, they got 10 people fed in about an hour and 15 minutes. We loved everything about our experience and would recommend it to anyone.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming for kids, and the kids loved watching them cook the food. Lots of interactions from the chef to kids, but of course this could vary with the chef.“
“eat here immediately!!!! sitting down you know this is going to rock ur world bc they serve sea urchin which im pretty sure is super hard to prepare (woahhh!!) the ambience is amazing, little details like the cool cups and metal silverware and bigger factors like comfy seats and smelling really nice and like the nicest staff ever the service was great i never felt like i was waiting a long time its just amazing but above all else the food is like i dont even know a word for it it is fire like amazing perfect i particularly loved the special double tuna i will dream of it at night when i close my eyes it was the perfect thing like crunchy but not to much and the tuna and the size its just perfect i wish i took a picture but i gobbled it up without a trace!!! and then i also loved the tokyo roll it just like melted in my mouth the sauce was sooo good the tempura in the inside you could tell was freshly cooked because it was still warm but the rest is cool and its just amazing to eat we had cheesecake for dessert which was a great conclusion it reminded me of like funnel cake it was super yummy i would recommend this place passionately it was so so good“
“The food was good and so was the service. I do think it was a little pricey. I think when I am in the area again, I would rather go for lunch rather than dinner!! I will go back!! My grandkids really like this place, they go there often since they live in the area! I also think the FB page should be updated. The prices are wrong and needs more updated pictures!! Just saying!!“
“We tried the teriyaki chicken, beef, and shrimp. The chicken was the most flavorful; however, the other two were still delicious. We watched them cook all our food fresh and service was great. They also give you large portions. If you like teriyaki flavor and rice, you'll love this place. They also have sides and deserts, but unfortunately we didn't try any of those. We'll be back for sure.“
“Food is always, always top tier! Steak is always cooked well like I ask but far from tough! Chicken I always juicy and the rice and veggies are way fresh! For the price and portion, you can eat off it 2 times or share! When I order extra meat, omg crazy size and for $30 I’ll take it anytime! Yum yum sauce is perfect literally. I’m super picky about my food and I drive all the way across town to eat here on a regular! The store can get a little packed because they stay busy but it’s well worth it!Parking: Lot is small and they are by a lot of other busy places. Parking if there just take your time because people fly through there.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get on the side walk. Door is a little narrow but you may be able to get in.“

“Located inside the Veil Brewery. There are not a lot of options but unique items. Got some Udon Noodles and Kimchi fries. My buddy got the Korean fried chicken. You make your order and get a buzzer. Not cheap. The food was really tasty. Order at the bar. Lunch drink options, not alcohol are limited. The place is massive. Lots of seating areas. Few Tv's throughout. Very cool vibe, neon light, and rather out of place stuffed animals. They're cool, though, especially the bear and Zebra. Would come back for lunch again.“
“Used to be Sushi King, but changed their name, even though some of the sushi chef's we're still wearing Sushi King shirts. It is a great place to go try sushi. All you can eat so you can try things to find out what kind of sushi you actually like. They also have tons of appetizers that you can get as well. Service is good, but we did order a few things that took forever to come, and one never did, even though our waiter said he had checked on it a few times. My daughter really liked their soup. They do have a little Buffet area, Saturday afternoon for lunch there wasn't a lot of stuff out on it. It's not a high-end sushi place they are much better sushi places out there, but as a all you can eat for lunch or dinner, with appetizers it's hard to be beat. Don't play the little claw game they have out in the lobby that thing couldn't pick up a feather if it needed to!“
