“This is the kind of place you’d find in a bigger city! There are very few other restaurants in Roanoke at this caliber. Top 3 in the area for sure. Definitely recommend calling in for a reservation ahead of time - they don’t have long hours and fill up quickly. Cocktails are creative, and typically on point. I absolutely LOVE their Chicken Liver Mousse and my husband said the Oyster Rockefeller some of the best he’s ever had. The small plates are alright, but the entrees and dessert definitely don’t disappoint!! Love the cozy, intimate vibe - great for special occasions and date nights ❤️“

This is an extremely elegant fine restaurant never requires a dress code of suit and tie or evening gown. This is definitely not a restaurant that you can wear blue jeans, boots, and a T-shirt to.Our dinner was $240 but that is to be expected for a fine dining restaurant inside of a Hilton Hotel.“
“We ordered an egg and cheese biscuit and hash brown, and a smoked tofu on a vegetarian biscuit with grits. Best biscuit I've ever had, light and fluffy with good flavor. Wish they offered nom dairy milk for coffee, but we will return.If you are new like we were, it's an order at the counter set up with menus on the wall as you come in. “Have passed by this place a few times while downtown, but never gone in and was not disappointed! It's larger inside than expected with three floors of seating and has a few larger tables for bigger parties. All the food we got was good and came out fast. It was around 2 pm on a Saturday when we went and wasn't overly busy. We particularly liked the seating at the top because we had a good view of the City Market Plaza. They had a few TVs playing bearing sporting events if that's your thing, and had both alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices. We ordered the Craft Ginger Beer and lemonade and the Ginger Beer was good without being too spicy while on the other hand the lemonade was very tart. A little added sugar balanced it out, but the note is for those who like it that way. Prices were fair. Spent about $27 with Appetizer (Price split between two), Drink, and Food. Will eat here again! “You will find no better cake in Roanoke than Evie’s coconut cake. We get it for all of our special occasions and have even frozen quarters of the nine inch to eat months later, tasting just as good as the day we bought it. We are moving soon and will be so sad to leave this cake!“
“Friendly hometown dive bar that also has a full day menu. I’d recommend this place for a grab-n-go breakfast sandwich or lunch hamburger. They have a new cook and he seems to do well.The establishment itself has not been renovated in a long time, it’s not particularly well kept or clean, i cannot speak for the kitchen, it may be totally different. There’s a little smell of smoke and a few pool tables in the back.I have an office close by and always notice a bit older, local crowd.I’ve never sat down to eat but I’ve stopped through to pickup small orders to go. Very fair prices, and they meet my expectations.“
