“We stopped in for a quick bite to eat on our way through town. And let me just say…they cooked up the best burger I’ve had in a long time! Friendly, efficient service and an varied menu that’s sure to please the whole family. Will be sure to stop in again when we’re in the area!Parking: Parking lot is extremely sloped. Even the handicapped spots were on a steep slope. Not very handicapped accessible.Kid-friendliness: Cozy, quiet atmosphere with mature clientele. Probably not well suited for young or rambunctious kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Neither parking lot nor bathrooms are handicapped accessible. Steep slope in the parking lot and extremely odd “hump” in the floor make the entryway and bathroom extremely hard to access.“

“Had breakfast with my son-in-law this morning. We both had the veggie omelette with home fries; I had toast and he had the biscuits (I should have got with the biscuits.) The atmosphere was conducive for a morning get together, the staff was great, and the food was excellent. No need for a long wordy review; it was a great place, with great food, served by a great staff.“

“It is rare in my travels that I find a Doubletree hotel with a restaurant…this Charlottesville BA location has this restaurant and it is a great place with good food and they will accommodate basic changes well. My bartender/ waitress was Alisa…funny, pleasant, creative and accommodating! It was fun watching her interact with people throughout the night. I got the portobello burger but with as veggie burger topped with mushrooms and a side salad instead of fries. She makes an incredible martini but I also saw her create a Brown Derby for a guest that turned into a few more for more guests. She is worth her weight in gold and should be treasured!!“

“Been a couple of years since we've been there - not so good ... burgers were way overdone even for a smash burger, dry and no flavor. This time was much better. Nice crusty "lace" on the edges and, although still smashed (but not "crushed,") a tasty, juicy, flavorful burger. Will go back! ( Sidenote : iced tea, instant, not so good ...go for the beer!) Pleasant experience.“

“I've mainly done drinks here, which it's a good place for. They have a fairly broad tap selection, good wine offerings, and a decent happy hour. The bar area is chill, but not a place I would choose for watching a game because the tvs are mounted too high. Their outdoor space is nice, and generally my preference if the weather suits.I've only eaten here a couple times. Food was on par with similar offerings. Enjoyable, hot, and didn't take too long. Not the best reuben I've ever had, but certainly better than many. IMHO, a reuben is a pretty good marker of the overall execution of a kitchen. This one was toasted properly, crisp outside, not soggy or rock hard. It's a pastrami reuben, so a little creative take. The pastrami was good and a lot of Swiss. The thousand island is apparently house made and pretty good. Could possibly use a little more of the dressing and kraut. My overall rating of the place kinda follows this sandwich. Not perfect execution, but close. Google doesn't allow halves, or I'd give it four and a half. Just can't quite bring myself to a 5.“
