“The food was delicious! Ordered 2 pho, 4 spring roll, pork bahn mi, and dumplings. All of my order was fresh, hot, and delicious! Not to mention my spring rolls were rolled perfect! The rice paper wasn’t hard in any spots, pork flavorful, great portion inside. The fish sauce was perfectly balanced. I love that it had some spice to it. I ordered from DoorDash and the reason I say the service because I called just to tell them about my order in general. And the person on the phone was very kind. The person did not rush me off the phone or anything of that nature and I appreciate that in general because I know they probably were busy. So I recommend this place five stars! And they DONT skimp on the meat in the pho!! I appreciate that“

“My mother and I are traveling from NC to home in Pa. the hotel we are staying at recommended Hollywood's. the food and service was amazing. our server recommended all the food and after trying several things we know why. it was all delicious! our server Olivia was one of the best we ever had. (I was a server for many years so I know the hard work it takes to be one of the best and Olivia was the best) I hope when my mom and I left tonight we made Olivia's night. I recommend everyone try this place the food and service is AMAZING! if we ever travel this way again we will be visiting Hollywood's for sure!“

“We got here about 6pm on a Saturday and it was busy enough. They close at 7pm but we didn't get our food until 7. The waitress was still nice. I think she just had her hands full. The food was good. I enjoyed my chuckwagon steak and it was a good relaxed environment with 3 kids in tow.“

“If you like Thai, don't let this one get away. The inside is small but comfortable, the staff is friendly and the food is fantastic. The Drunken Noodle is awesome. Take out is also handled well. Twenty minutes and you will be driving home wishing you could pull over and eat, it smells so good. John Hart.“

“Our family has been going here for YEARS. We love this place! Never been let down one time. Great food. Great service. Great people!Anytime we have family members come from Indy, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, you name it, they always love this place and always ask for it when they come (driving, flying - who wants to go out to eat anyways after traveling all day on the first day they come or dirty up the kitchen after cleaning up all day? Lol). They tell us all the time too all the Chinese takeouts around them where they’re at just suck, can’t compare, are disappointing, never taste that great, or they just have a bad experience and don’t go back. Not China Wok:)!!! Lol, it’s the best Chinese takeout food in Roanoke!!!!❤️☺️“

“My husband and I were traveling and saw Alejandro's on the Map and decided to try it. it was a couple of miles in off of the highway but well worth the few minutes to get there. The waitstaff was friendly and prompt!!! The food came out nice and hot and was delicious!!!“

“Listen everyone. China Star is by far the most amazing Chinese restaurant in Roanoke. I've tried everywhere basically. Food is always spot on. There is never a mishap and if there is the owner corrects it immediately. She is the nicest and sweetest person in business. She will learn you face and voice! Again the food is beyond excellent. Always hot and fresh. The best thing is she has her prices very reasonable. Family of 6 can eat for 30 bucks and have leftovers!!!!! I don't need to put pictures because it won't do the food justice!“

“This place...Seriously good eats! Some of the best BBQ I've had, and I've been all over the US. Great smoke, juicy, tender... And their Carolina sauce is awesome.Try the ribs - the dry rub is a perfect balance with the Kansas City sauce...And get the broccoli. I know: "broccoli at a BBQ place!? You nuts!?"Try it. They tossed it with the Carolina sauce! Amazing.Go hungry.“

“This is the place locals go for fresh, high quality Mexican food. It's our weekly outing for a meal as a family. The prices are higher than average but the portions are huge. We often leave carrying our leftovers which make a meal the next day. So, stop reading this review and go get you some!“

“Doesn't look like much, and you could easily miss this building if you were walking or driving by. Seating is limited with 2 tables for 2 people each and counter seating for probably 10. It's a very quaint place! It's definitely a "hole in the wall" place. The food and service are amazing! You order at the counter, and they bring you your order. They have a limited menu with unique burger choices. The meat is fresh and juicy. The bun and waffle fries are delicious. My husband had the mushroom Swiss burger with grilled onions. I had the Columbiana without potato chip crumbles. Mine had crushed pineapple and a green tomato. I wish the tomato had a little more flavor, but I think that is how they usually are. The combination of the ingredients made the perfect combo.“

“What a beautiful hidden gem! Every detail was top notch from the architecture, to the decor, to the thorough and friendly service. The food is fresh— not microwaved— and delicious. We’ve found a couple stinkers with Mexican restaurants since moving to the area a few months ago, so we’re so happy to have found El Torreo! “We went for lunch for my daughter's 9th birthday and it was great! There are plenty of televisions in the dining area playing child friendly movies that everyone can watch while enjoying their meal. There's an arcade room in the back, but it's not distracting to the customers in the dining room, which is great!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!! It has all the things kids love, pizza, cartoons, sweets, soda, and video games!“

“Ate at Red Robin while in Roanoke for an event because, well, why not? I have to say I was very impressed with the new menu. Great selection of food from the normal excellent burgers to ribs, shrimp, salmon, and pizza. Everything was so good that we at there Friday and again on Sunday. Service was "less great" on Sunday, but it all depends on the server. Highly recommend. Please give me a reaction if you read this. Thanks!“
