“Ate here Thursday the 10th, food was tasty. The parking was confusing as there were signs all over of the risk of being towed. Asked someone in parking lot how the restaurant is. They stated very rustic but food is good. Our server Lindsey was awesome. Choice of beer on tap was mostly IPAs, not our favorites. Not many Craft beers available. I got the DB Vienna Lager which is always a good fall back when there's nothing else. The IPA my partner had was your typical grapefruity bitter IPA, not good. We ordered a dozen Clams Casino which were made to perfection! And we shared the Blackened Tuna cooked medium served on a roll. Yummy. It came with a little cup of wasabi a little too intense for our taste buds so we asked for tartar sauce instead. This came with a generous amount of Hush Puppies with butter on the side. I have never been offered butter with my Hush Puppies but I will be asking for it this way from now on, delish. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.“

“My husband and I went here for lunch. We have eaten here twice before and really liked it. I am Celiac and got the gluten-free crust both times in the past. This time I decided to to try the regular crust because at Victoria's they import their flour from Italy and I heard that other Celiac's who eat here eat the regular crust and do not have issues. Well, I am here to tell you that I did not have one issue after eating the regular crust! Not any of the normal symptoms that I usually have after even eating the tiniest amount of gluten.

The crust was amazing, so light! I highly recommend Victoria's and if you are Celiac, try the regular crust. You will not regret it!“

“My wife is from Brooklyn and we've eaten at Mulberry Street many times in Little Italy ?? and some of the best Italian food in NY and we both agree that Basilico is the most authentic Italian food we've had the pleasure of enjoying in the entire area if not Virginia period...I've done close to 300 reviews so check it out if you think I haven't had my share of real Italian food and believe me when I say this is THE SPOT! Bridget was our waitress and she kept our beverages full and was very polite and courteous, we had Eggplant ? Parmigiano and Veal Parmagia and we couldn't believe it, like being in NY I swear! “Park Lane on Fordham Drive in Virginia Beach is a great place for drinks, dinner, parties, meeting friends. I have been a frequent patron of Park Lane at this location for a very long time and at least twice a week. I spoke with manager Jim this evening and complimented him on the way the restaurant and bar is run. The restaurant is well kept and attended to. The wait staff and bar tenders are super efficient, well versed with knowledge of the product and food there. They are fast and very efficient, and honestly all of them have great work ethic and have a wonderful sense of humor. They make you feel like a part of their family and are very professional. They really get to know you (especially if you’re a regular customer), and that’s why it’s such a pleasure to frequent the restaurant. We laugh and kid around with each other and the atmosphere really is light, lively, fun and all around pleasurable. The kitchen staff prepare and present the dishes with absolute care and appeal…. and the food is delicious! I haven’t been disappointed once! The orders come out of the kitchen with care and they are very prompt. The analogy that I would say about this particular restaurant is that “it’s a well-oiled machine”, as it’s run with precision, it’s very efficient, and everyone works well with each other, and honestly they all seem so happy! It’s a wonderful place and I recommend it very highly. You won’t be disappointed, and I might add that the prices are very reasonable. Thanks to Jim, Justin and all the managers at this location, and a great BIG thank you to the wait staff, bar tenders, cooks, kitchen staff, janitors, clean up crews for an outstanding job well done! You ALL really go above and beyond expectations and other like establishments should take a lesson from you all. “I visited this establishment today 2/10/23 for the first time. The environment is inviting , friendly. The pizza was a bit disappointing paper thin pizza , very dry and crust not cooked thoroughly and not fresh. The taste was good but not enough cheese. I will return for a second time hoping it’s a better experience and maybe it’s better to order a fresh pie and just bring it home with me. Over all I give it 5/10 with room for improvement.“

“My husband and I stopped by on our way home. We've driven past multiple times, but since we were hungry this time, we figured we could try their pizza. We came in around 2pm and it was pretty quiet, which was nice. Our server Katie grabbed our drinks, took our orders, and was polite and friendly. The fried pickles tasted fresh, briny, and delicious. The pizza was good with a very tasty crust and tomatoey sauce. The cheese and pepperoni were good. I probably wouldn't order sausage on our pizza again as it didn't taste like Italian sausage, but almost tasted like breakfast sausage, being too sweet. The only downside to our meal was the group of servers standing around to loudly gossip in the hallway right next to the dining room. And the group of children that came running out of the game room in the back rattled the entire room, sending our table and booth to shaking. “Aldo’s is my absolute favorite restaurant! I am a very picky eater. My husband, (boyfriend at the time) , took me to Aldo’s on one of our first dates in 1990. If he was trying to impress me..it worked! Jim, the owner, has been there since the beginning and he is amazing! He has treated us like gold for 34 years now! He has sent wine and dessert over on our anniversary, compliments of the restaurant! He always asks us how everything was and of course, it’s always perfect! I have never had an issue. The atmosphere is incredible, very romantic and relaxing. There is live piano and the wait staff are top notch. Jim only hires the best! They have authentic Italian food that has so much flavor and there is nothing like it! I highly recommend Aldo’s for fine dining and just an overall fabulous experience!“

“In town for a conference and this place happens to be near my hotel. Lots of creative pies on the menu. My food and service from Jenna was so good the first night I came back my second night. First night was a paneer tiki masala pizza. Just the right amount of spice. Crust was the perfect char. My cocktail was excellent. Night two. Baked potatoe pizza. Again right on point and Jennas cocktail was excellent. If you are staying on the boardwalk definitely give it a try.“

Didn't have time for the Chicago-style thick crust this trip but the thin crust was definitely on point and the sausage they use was some of the best we've ever had on a pizza. Placed order for subs instead, took an hour and 15 minutes to get a meatball sub. Was not offered a comp for the meal. Kitchen staff did not seem rushed, saw three walk out of Kitchen to socialize. The service certainly declined.“

I recommend steering clear on weekends, unless your idea of a good time is reliving a chaotic children’s birthday party. There are more kids here than at any playground (30-40+ the last few fri/sat nights), running around, screaming, throwing gravel, playing on the stairs, and treating the place like a jungle gym.

“I moved from Kempsville to Birdneck in February 2024, I found South Beach Pizza and I have since ordered only from them because they are reliable, all the food they advertise is as good as it looks on the menu. Since then, they have been the backbone of good Italian pizza and pasta, etc. around the upcoming events at the Sportsplex and the new “Pavilion” Center. This area where they are located is upcoming and becoming very popular. I highly recommend this place because I was born and raised here in Virginia Beach and very impressed👍🙏😉❤️ Anne W.“
