“Came here for a birthday, had a reservation but still had to wait 15mins, not a huge deal but be aware. Service was friendly but not very attentive. Had to flag our waitress down every time I needed anythingThe food: steaks were cooked to perfection and were some of the best I’ve had in the dmv. Rockfish was exceptionally good. Cesar salad was fantastic.Busy place prices are reasonable for what you get in quality of food but definitely not cheap. If you appreciate a quality steak I would highly recommend Ozzie’s. I will be trying it again.Parking: Parking wasn’t hard to find but may need to walk a block or two.“

“Another wonderful meal at a truly lovely restaurant. The staff is very cordial and helpful and the food is tasty and well-presented. I had the salmon trio (smoked salmon, salmon tartar, and salmon roe) for an appetizer and sea bass for my entree. My husband had the wonderful onion soup for an appetizer and the crab cake, scallops, and shrimp for his entree. He was able to get the dish minus scallops as he is allergic to them!! Sample desserts and coffee rounded out our meal. A very pleasant evening all around.“

“Last night we spent a wonderful evening at Bonaroti’s for our anniversary. It was our first visit, and we throughly enjoyed it. The food was amazing, the service was excellent!I use a mobility scooter, and I was very nervous about my ability to access the restraunt itself. However, I need not have worried, the restraunt had a portable ramp and the staff had obviously assisted wheelchair users many times in the past. Several able bodied men spotted me both entering and exiting the restraunt without making me feel as if I was disturbing everyone (believe me, this attitude is not always the case). Also, Bonaroti has a wheelchair accessible restroom as well.Thank you to Sergio and his staff, we will definitely be returning customers!Wheelchair accessibility: Last night we spent a wonderful evening at Bonaroti’s for our anniversary. “This is a very unassuming restaurant tucked away in an old shopping center. Doesn't look like much inside or out, but the food is fabulous. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, from appetizers to desserts. Wonderful wine list. The tables are well spaced for comfort and privacy the atmosphere is relaxed, and you never feel rushed. There is no kid's menu. Opened for dinner only.“

“Osteria da Nino is very nice place, family-owned restaurant. It is at a good location, close to parking lot and other shopping centers. More importantly, it is 10 minutes away from Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. We had a great welcome by the owner. Our server was Alex. Four of us had a dinner reservation at this restaurant. After dinner, we went to a show (Shear Madness) at John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. We ordered the following and here are my ratings Drinks (Baby Amarone, Tito, Spritz, Mojito, Bellini) - 9/10 Food (Octupus, Garlic Bread, Eggplant Parm, Fusili Crab Meat, Margherita Pizza) - 9/10 Desserts (Tiramisu) - **5/10** and Cappuccino - 9/10 Service - 9/10 I always feel there is a scope to improve the quality of the food. So, maximum score is 9 out 10. Tiramisu - It is not to the standard, and it is based on my experience eating Italian food for more than 30 years at other restaurants in NY, NJ, PA, DE, VA and MD. Also, this is my favorite dessert, especially if I am at an Italian restaurant. I strongly recommend Osteria Da Nino and will go back with more friends!!“

“As many of you (me when I come back and read this later) are aware, my wife and I take our date night locations seriously and a few nights ago we went out on a limb and decided to try Roberto's on our most recent outing. You're always taking a risk when you go to a restaurant when you're not able to pronounce half of the things on the menu. Some might say that's a sign of authenticity...some might say that's a recipe for embarrassment. Either way, we gave Roberto's a shot and, overall, we're glad that we did. I'm not an Italian expert by any stretch of the imagination, but even my uneducated palate could have told you that this place was miles better than 80% of the other Italian restaurants I've been to in the past (Olive Garden included, I'm sad to say). From the outside, Roberto's is a pretty cool looking place. The restaurant is pretty small, but the large Italian flag waving out front gives away its location pretty easily. We made a reservation online pretty easily.Overall, we had a really good experience here, but walking in almost ruined it for us. When I had booked our reservations, I did not anticipate bringing our children with us (both under 2). When we couldn't find a baby sitter, we called an audible and brought them along which I thought would be fine because they're literally like 20 pounds combined. When we came and checked in we were almost instantly greeted with a pleasant, "You know we don't have high chairs, right?" Which I didn't know (not sure how I would have). There was a minute or two of adjusting because we had two extra "people" with us who didn't take up chairs, but we were then pretty quickly led to a booth.I had made a mistake and maybe I was just getting a taste of Italian hospitality, but I was a little unhappy about that first impression. Nevertheless, from that moment on everything got much better. The main dining area of the restaurant is essentially a large room with tables laid around the walls and a big serving section right in the middle where the waiters grab supplies and things. That was a cool layout that I hadn't seen before, it also meant that we were helped pretty quickly. We had our water within a few minutes and fresh bread only a few minutes later. Not unlimited, but unlimitedly delicious. After a few minutes of translating the menu my wife and I ordered. I went with the Fettuccini (because it was literally the only thing I could pronounce) and my wife ordered the gnocchi. Within a few minutes, my wife's food was out and my pasta had made its way to the center island thing in the restaurant. From there, the owner of the store (or manager?) put the pasta into a giant wheel of parmesan and personally created the alfredo sauce in front of us while explaining the process, that was pretty cool. The food itself was incredible. Both the gnocchi and the fehttuchini alfredo were wonderful. The portions were a little smaller than I would have liked, but enough to leave you feeling like you were satisfied. We ended the meal with a little espresso and chocolate gelato which, I kid you not, is the best I've ever had. While the hospitality coming through the door wasn't great, our servers were wonderful the whole time. They were attentive, helpful and kind. I was also impressed to see that the owner/manager/woman in charge made her way around to each table to check in on folks and make sure they were enjoying their meal and have a short conversations with them. That was a nice touch that, honestly, hasn't happened to me in a long time. The last thing I'll discuss is the price. You're getting good quality food but you're not paying Olive Garden prices for it. Both my wife and I's dishes sat around $30/pop. For a group, you're talking some big money.Would I come back to Roberto's? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes. Would I come back often? If I was rich...maybe. It's a fun place for a date night, but probably won't be our regul“

“This is the best Italian spot, if not the best restaurant, in the DC area. It’s a small menu, updated regularly, and the staff couldn’t be any more perfect. If I could only have one meal for the rest of my life, squid ink linguini and the pineapple upside-down cake. WOW!“

“MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO THE ENTIRE STAFF AT MAGGIANO’s, SPRINGFIELD, VA! There are not enough word in the dictionary to describe my experience in Maggiano’s! From the time I make reservations through walking through the front door of the restaurant, the service, the managers, the chef, the food, to serving the BEST ITALIAN CUISINE SINCE ITALY, and cleanliness in the restrooms. Look, I live in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where there are some of the best Italian restaurants on the East Coast but those restaurants do not compare to my Maggiano’s. I seriously have to drive out of my way, Springfield, to get the Best Italian on the East Coast. It’s worth every second. The cuisine inside this Maggiano’s tastes exactly like my Italian grandparent’s cooked it. I frequent this restaurant at least once or twice a week. Thank you Mo, (manager), Jessie (server), and the rest of the staff at my Maggiano’s! Dana Neese, 12-23-2023.“

“We need more non-corporate places in Woodbridge. This place fits the bill. Has a neighborhood feel with personality, not trendy rather a down to earth place with honest portion sizes. I believe it is mostly family run. While we dined a family filled up a large table beside us and were speaking Italian, which is a welcomed experience in a world filled with Olive Gardens. Husband had no complaint with his pizza and he is a bit of a pizza connoisseur. My Chicken Florentine was liberally stuffed and the sauce extremely rich and flavorful. The times we have gone there several families were dining, but a comfort place for couples, too. Hope this restaurant continues to thrive“

“A very old school family-run vibe. In a day of chain restaurants I appreciate this. The linguine and clams were delicious, and both the lasagna and shrimp scampi were also quite good. The wine selection is small, but when you have quality table wines with generous pours, who cares. I would certainly return anytime.“

“After having been here several times the food is quite good. The lasagna in particular is a personal favorite. The ambiance is pleasant although crowded at times. They have an excellent wine selection. One recommendation- if you order takeout in particular -pizzas. Check them before you leave. The pizza I ordered last night had the four ingredients put in four separate corners. I don't understand it but can only assume I was given the wrong order or someone in the kitchen was having a bad night!“

“Had to convince my friends to go again because of a long-ago disappointing Restaurant Week dinner. This time, we all loved the food, the generous portions, and the service. My favorite was the garlic bread, which came with a wonderful tomato dipping sauce on the side. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive, and the friendly manager lowered the music volume when we asked. Definitely a hit all around last night.“

“One of the best places to go for pizza and pastas. Simple, Italian dishes, but really good homestyle cooking. Highly recommend coming here if you are planning to get a grub to eat before a movie. My picks from here would be the piccatta, or chicken parm pasta. Their New York style pizza is also really flavorful.“

“Villa Bella is such an amazing restaurant. It can be difficult to get a reservation here as it is really popular in the Burke area, but that's because it is such a unique spot. I love the wood-fired pizzas from here because this style adds to the crispiness of the pizza crust. Calamari fritti is nice and airy, unlike many places where they sometimes make the appetizer too dense or oily. Reasonable amount of salt in the calamari fritti, which impresses me because I don't find that often in the calamari I've gotten from other Italian restaurants. The fried mozzarella and arancini are also some must-haves. Before eating here, I used to not like arancini, but this place has converted me into someone who loves arancini. With pasta dishes, some of my personal favorites are the ziti alla Paesana, manicotti, and ravioli. Their chicken parm pasta is also really good. This cozy restaurant nestled in Burke definitely sets the bar high for Italian food in the DMV and has personally elevated my palate on Italian cuisine. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, and even a faraway drive is worth it in my opinion. I definitely hope to come back here.“

“At Luciano, I recently dove into their "Meat Trio" pizza, and let me tell you, it's a culinary masterpiece. The crust strikes the perfect balance between crispy and chewy, providing an ideal base for the explosion of flavors to come. The trio of meats was a savory delight in every bite, and I decided to amp it up a notch by adding mushrooms, which added a delightful earthiness to the mix. The cheese, a gooey perfection, brought everything together seamlessly. Luciano's commitment to quality ingredients and culinary finesse truly shines through in this pizza, making it a must-try for anyone seeking a delicious and satisfying dining experience.“

“Walking in, I was impressed by the clean, well lit building. I ordered Chicken Alfredo with penne pasta. Original cost was $13 and some change but they gave me a discount because I work in the same shopping area. When my delivery arrived I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo! My first impression looking at it was that there was enough portions for me to eat twice which is awesome considering the the price. The sauce was definitely creamy but I felt that it could've been a bit thicker, it was a little thin. There was plenty of chicken, they did not hold back! The pasta noodles were perfect, not too hard not too soft. I do wonder about the quality of the chicken. Was it cooked that moment, earlier that day or was it frozen/precooked.. The Garlic bread was epic! Two nice toasted buttery sized pieces.. Overall I enjoyed the meal. I suspect there pizza is better so that would be my order next time I stop by. Theyve got great lunch deals soo be sure to stop by and check it out!“
“Amazing place to stop and get wine, pizza, hoagie, deli cuts, gelato, espresso, Italian groceries or even prepared meals to take home and heat up. I first went there a few years ago and found it to be my go to place and try to get in there once a week. They do so many things and do them right. They seem to employ a lot of students and they have a nice enthusiasm and demeanor to them, always upbeat. Their wine events they frequently have are always a good time to sample a wine and get educated on it. They have another location which has a lot of the same good foods, but is much smaller, this is the one I prefer as the selections are much larger. I wish I could give this place more stars, but 5 on a scale of 1-5 is all they'll allow.“

“The lady that took our order was super sweet and she brought out our food super quickly! The food was delicious, but when I tell you the salad dressing is the perfect dip for anything I mean it, it was so good you can dip the fry's, gyro, or anything you would dip in sauce and it would make it taste 1000% better then it already did!! “I've been coming here for 20 years now. I've always loved the food but this past time I tried the Parma for the first time ever and oh my god, AMAZING. I'm mad at myself for not trying it sooner. It's my new favorite. Everything is great here though. The sandwiches are perfect and always have the best quality toppings (i.e. the finely shredded lettuce is exquisite and quintessential for a true Italian sub). I love their sides too, the antipasto salad and macaroni salads are outstanding. I also really enjoy their premade meals. Caesar salad, garlic bread, lasagna, stuffed shells, meatballs, it's all great. Love this place.“

“I ordered wings, boneless wings, fries, and pizza. The wings were very large, meaty, and delicious! The hot buffalo sauce was just the right amount. It could have been a bit spicier but then I love my food SPICY! The boneless wings were delicious and very juicy. The pizza was the best I've had in a while and definitely the best in Burke. Our food was delivered quickly and still hot. Overall it was a very good surprise - definitely exceeded what I was expecting (based on my experience with Pisano's in Alexandria and Pisano's in Bailey's Crossroads). “I love this pizza, although it's not the best iv had. Nice service, average prices, good pies and a pub in the back if your down for that. I had the Hawaiian pizza and it was very good if your into the whole square, crispy thing. I'm a fan of NY style pizza myself so I wasn't used to this style. The other dishes like spaghetti and wings look delicious as well although I can only speak for the pizza. It's been around forever so they know what they are doing. I'd recommend!“
