“One of my favorite Halal Platters spot in the DMV. Just got hip to it last night and ate half my food and got full then the other half was finished by my bro before I could wake up the next day. The chicken was on point and the white sauce and bbq sauce are really good and flavorful. Highly recommend. Just got it again for a second day back to back ?“

“I had the pleasure of enjoying the chicken chashu rice bowl. It definitely was not what I was expecting; it was a pretty large bowl. It took me some time to see the bottom of the bowl but I finished it. It was so good. I wish I was a kid thou... My son was served the same meal in a small bowl in addition to a bowl of ramen noodles in a broth, (he was nice enough to share...it was really good), 2 pieces of chicken and a small bowl of noodles ce cream as part of the kids meal. Renee was a great waiter and the host, Seth, took the time to explain the specials to everyone at the table. Be sure to come hungry, you will leave satisfied.Atmosphere - people and the area was great. I just found the restaurant too dark.“

“My hubby and I have been to Carlyle twice. Both times we shared the Judith Point calamari with the corn salsa. Calamari preparation can range from horribly rubbery and tasteless, to just “meh,” or to what Carlyle has done with it - fried to perfection, with complementary flavors in the sauces and corn salsa- for the win!I ordered the smoked salmon on my first visit two years ago, and because it was so tastefully prepared, I couldn’t bring myself to try another dish. It is just delicious.Hubby ordered crab cakes, along with coleslaw and shoestring fries. Crab cakes were meaty and flavorful. Sides were good.Atmosphere and service are good. I love that it’s in a walkable area, just a few blocks from the Shirlington Hilton. Give Carlyle a try!“

“Came here for a birthday, had a reservation but still had to wait 15mins, not a huge deal but be aware. Service was friendly but not very attentive. Had to flag our waitress down every time I needed anythingThe food: steaks were cooked to perfection and were some of the best I’ve had in the dmv. Rockfish was exceptionally good. Cesar salad was fantastic.Busy place prices are reasonable for what you get in quality of food but definitely not cheap. If you appreciate a quality steak I would highly recommend Ozzie’s. I will be trying it again.Parking: Parking wasn’t hard to find but may need to walk a block or two.“

“Great food and friendly service! I love to sit outside on the deck. They are able to accommodate those with special dietary needs. I need gluten free and dairy free. Gluten free buns are available upon request. GF buns need an extra few minutes to defrost the in the oven but it’s worth the wait. Or you can call ahead. I loved my lobster roll and the coleslaw too!Dietary restrictions: GlutenDairy“

“Our server was so pleasant and attentive. For our appetizer we got the calamari and it was some of the best I've ever had. Entrees were a bit hit or miss. The ribeye we ordered wasn't seasoned well, but the crabcake we got was the best I've ever had. Overall a great experience, though fairly pricey.“

“Thrilled to have found this place while attending a training conference nearby. I am not ashamed to say I came here for lunch every day of the week The good: the atmosphere is as good as it gets for a pub. Quiet lunch stop, Friendly staff a traditional pub menu great whiskey selection and a gorgeous mirror backed ornate wood bar display. I swapped between both the Reuben and fish sandwich all week and highly recommend either. The bad: My major complaint is that this place is too far from my house but it may be good enough that I start looking for new apartments in the area. This is what it is to the maximum degree if you are in the mood for an Irish pub I don't think you can do better.“

“This hidden gem offers a delightful fusion of flavors that's as vibrant and colorful as a Mexican mural. This family-owned operation not only wins your heart with its super friendly staff but also caters to a symphony of dietary preferences, making it a haven for vegetarians, vegans, and those seeking halal options. The casual atmosphere, a playful blend of Mexican zest and Greek finesse, sets the stage for a dining experience that's both laid-back and lip-smackingly good.Diving into the menu is like embarking on a culinary world tour, starting in Mexico with the Vegan taco, a masterclass in flavor that proves you don't need meat to create a masterpiece. It's a plant-based delight that showcases the kitchen's knack for transforming simple ingredients into something extraordinary. The Mexican Pizza, a Wild Tacoz signature, is a flavor bomb. Imagine a 12" pizza that shuns the traditional crust for a double cheese-filled tortilla, creating a base that's as innovative as it is delicious. Topped with a protein of your choice and adorned with a medley of toppings including mild or spicy salsa, a three-cheese mix, tomatoes, onions, black beans, romaine, cilantro, and corn crumbs, it's a dish that dances on the line between genius and madness, landing squarely on the side of genius. Then, we set sail for Greece with the Gyro Burrito, a culinary hybrid that's as bold as it is delicious. Packed with rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, feta, and tzatziki, it's a wrap that wraps you in warmth and comfort, proving that when Mexico meets Greece, the result is nothing short of spectacular.Wild Tacoz is not just a restaurant; it's a testament to the power of family, fusion, and the universal language of delicious food. With every dish made to order, freshness is the name of the game, ensuring that each visit is as delightful as the last. In a world where fusion can sometimes mean confusion, Wild Tacoz stands out as a beacon of culinary creativity, blending Mexican flair and Greek elegance into a dining experience that's sure to leave you wild with joy.“

“For appetizers- we ordered the burratta e funghi and also the foccaccia bread. Both were delicious. The highlight was the pizza! We were a party of 6 and tried three different pizzas, and all were delicious! We also tried both the gnocchi dishes (formaggi and sorrentina), they were ok. The best dish of all was the tiramisu! We liked it so much we had to order multiples. Friendly staff, good amount of parking..“

“Loved the tacos, some better than other, service was good, only 4 stars for atmosphere because the ceiling was staring back at us but other than that I liked the seating and layout, also saw they have events some nights and definitely will be going back to try more food and the events. A great place next to GMU campus in university mall, and the best part is that they have Jarritos. Chips were solid too, salsa is spicy, if you are white or just have no spice tolerance at all beware.“

“Very good bar/vegan food. Prices seem all over with place, with some items overpriced and some quite cheap. Example: burger for $16, but a generous plate of eggplant fries + dipping sauces for $3. In total, it was about $30 for a burger, fries and a beer for one person. Maybe I’m just not used to DC prices, but it felt expensive. Good vegan food, though, and fast, friendly service.Vegetarian options: Full menu is vegan“

“This is the best Italian spot, if not the best restaurant, in the DC area. It’s a small menu, updated regularly, and the staff couldn’t be any more perfect. If I could only have one meal for the rest of my life, squid ink linguini and the pineapple upside-down cake. WOW!“

“I saw this restaurant on Google maps while searching for a place to meet friends for dinner. It didn't fit what I had in mind. But intrigued I went there with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the food! We all thought the fresh ingredients, clever mixtures and exciting sauces were wonderful and ever so healthy. Their service was efficient but the atmosphere was sterile and noisy even almost empty...better for takeout.“

“I always enjoy going to Elephant Jumps Thai restaurant for their food. I usto work across the street back in the days and found out about this restaurant. I have tried a different meal every time I have ordered from here and have never been disappointed. I have moved to Woodbridge and I still make the drive when I want to get some Thai food.“
“Probably the best deli in the area.Their prices are quite a bit higher than other sandwich shops in the area, but they use top quality cold cuts. (With a tip, I paid a little more than $30 for two sandwiches.)They still make almost all of the sandwiches that have been on the menu since the old days, but they're happy to make your sandwich to order if you prefer.Busy at peak lunch time, obviously, but it's been deserted when I've been there, a little later in the afternoon, around 2.The staff is very friendly. There are tables inside and out.“

“Outstanding Thai, especially if you need spicy. We were celebrating multiple life events. The staff was welcoming and anticipated our needs. My only concern was the condition of the restaurant, the ceiling tiles were stained and sagging. Mom reported a sanitary & spotless ladies room.We ordered appetizers. The curry chicken appetizers were wrapped in a delightful flaky crust that melts in your mouth. My son ordered medium heat drunken noodles. The dish was hot, even for chili-phile and spice-iphile in our party! The seafood dish -found on the Pad Thai page -was loaded with shrimp, mussels, squid and scallops for $20! The courses arrived hot, together and quickly. The coconut chocolate chip ice cream was divine. Topped off the meal with Thai coffee and tea. All of this fairly price. All four of took home a doggie bag for a second meal.Parking: Free parking lot in the back of the building periodKid-friendliness: Family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: the back of the building is not wheelchair accessible. “I went here on the recommendation of a friend. I've been to similar restaurants so I was familiar with the concept. They are located in an office building but in a good area. They take the dress code seriously. It's more of an upscale place. Nice ambiance. They were having a party in the back. The hostess and the servers very nice and accommodating. We went for lunch service and the food came quick once they started. The jalapeño beef, lamb, and garlic sirloin are things that really stood out. The other cuts were good but had minimal seasoning. The garden bar was sizable. Smoked salmon, Greek salad, beets, asparagus, etc. Oh try the grilled pineapple. Quite good and sweet. Overall a great place to try.“

“I feel that barbecue is subjective and kind of depends on your personal preference if you like it or not. My idea of good BBQ may not be yours. That being said... I LOVED this place. My brothers and I were in the area and one has been craving BBQ something fierce. Walking in, the place smells like heaven. We probably ordered way more than we should have because if we weren't hungry before, we definitely were when we smelled how good it smells here. We all ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, soda, cornbread and we each ordered different sides: baked beans and corn pudding, yucca fries and fried okra, and onion rings and macaroni and cheese. We also had a side of coleslaw to share since BBQ sandwich + coleslaw = perfection. You order at the counter, stop to gawk at the biggest selection of hot sauces I have ever seen for sale, grab your plastic ware and fountain soda, debate if you want pickled jalapeños, pickled onions, hot pickles, (hot pickles were AWESOME!!!!!) and then have a seat. They brought us the food pretty quickly and we dug in. We found their original BBQ sauce, found on the counter in a giant cauldron thing, a little too sweet and tomato-y for our likings (although I did enjoy digging the sweet marinated onions out of my cup of sauce, because those were great with the pickled onions and hot pickles), but they had a smoky and sweet one on the tables that we really liked. The onion rings were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and tasted amazing. I dipped one in his macaroni cheese and that tasted pretty darn good too. The fried okra is a huge portion and is also perfectly fried. The yucca fries were also wonderfully crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and not at all greasy. The baked beans are a little savory and a lot sweet. The corn pudding is very soft and fluffy and tastes like a hush puppy without the hard exterior. The coleslaw is delicious. They add super crisp peas and carrots to the normal cabbage. More places should get on this because it adds sweetness and texture and it is fantastic!!!!! The cornbread is amazing! I have no idea how they make it so fluffy and moist but WOW. I may carry honey in my handbag in case there is ever cornbread and I have never been so happy about my weird tendencies because YES!!!!!!! The pulled chicken was juicy and tender and smoky and so good. The buns they use are perfect for standing up to the saucy goodness. We really wanted to try some of their pies and banana pudding, but we couldn't eat another bite by the time we left. The portions were very generous, you couldn't even close the bun around all of the chicken without it jumping ship. You definitely need a fork to scoop up all your fallen chicken, which is also how I like my BBQ... I really wish we lived closer to this place because it was delicious and I would probably feign being too tired to cook dinner at least once a week so we could come here.“

“Walking into Endo Sushi doesn't initially scream "acrobatic antics," but the place has its flips and tricks up its sleeve—figuratively speaking, of course! It’s as quaint as they come, clean as a whistle, and home to a charming mural that could tell a thousand tales if only it could talk. The staff? They’re so cheerful and welcoming, you'd think they nailed a backflip before coming to work. And though you won't actually see any gymnastic feats (health and safety, folks!), their ability to deliver top-notch service and sushi with a smile is nothing short of spectacular. While the menu mysteriously lacks the high-flying acrobatics of crafting crab rangoon (I mean, how high can a crab even jump?), the sushi rolls are a culinary somersault of flavors. Yes, the place is simple—no unnecessary pizzazz or sequins needed here—but the experience? Excellent!Five stars to Endo Sushi for a meal where every bite feels like a mini celebration in your mouth. As I left, the whole team waved goodbye with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for Olympic gymnasts sticking the landing. So, while there may not be any literal backflips, dining at Endo feels like a perfect ten every time!“

“The first time I went I didn't care for it. I paid 20 dollars for a little bowl. I got the greens and grains. Yes, I was upset the server gave me a very small portion. Yes, I complained she didn't even care. “Stopped for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. 2 BIG slices of pepperoni and a drink for $10 is a fair price especially considering the great quality of the pizza. They make them when ordered so you're not getting slices from an already made pizza. The crust was my favorite part and I usually don't eat the crust. Will be going here often!“

“Overall a clean place with fresh food. I got the Mediterranean chicken wrap and it was good, but the chicken was a tad dry. The vegetables were fresh and the right texture. I do wish it had more tzatziki sauce. The onion rings were crunchy and hot, but 6 for almost $5 felt a little steep. The service was quick and we were in and out in a few minutes. Would I come back? Yes. Would I recommend for a quick lunch? Also yes“

“Came in for an order of Chicken Knocci soup for the first in a while. The phone support was great, as was the on-site service. Each representative was attentive, nice, and professional. The greeter opened the door for me with a smile. My wait was about 5-6 minutes past my scheduled pickup, but I didn't mind the wait. I took off a star because they no longer include breadsticks with soup orders. Salads get bottomless breadsticks, as does just about any other Olive Garden meal... except for a $21 bowl of soup. :|“

“So I originally ordered a grain bowl on Uber eats. Unfortunately Uber eats service was absolutely horrifying. They took over an hour and a half to assign a driver canceled my order previously…. now I’m specifically talking about Uber eats not the restaurant..Uber eats was not trying to give me a refund so I could re-order or just go pick up my food myself I have been waiting almost 2 hours for my food….HOWEVER ANGEL WHO WORKS AT THE RESTAURANT WAS VERY VERY HELPFUL WHEN I CALLED TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH MY ORDER. IF IT WAS READY FOR PICK UP, HE KEPT ME UPDATED, and gave me great assistance. Even when I showed up to pick up my food myself I appreciate that. He also spoke with Uber Eats to let them know it was unacceptable and it made the restaurant look bad. This man has amazing. Customer service is so polite and super respectful. “Food is typical per other Olive Gardens. Their restaurant atmosphere left something to be desired, winding floor plan, dim lighting, not much of a view, old parking lot. For Tyson’s, you might expect more. But still a good place to eat, as long as you don’t really mind those things.“

“So good!! I ordered through Uber Eats and everything was packed so well. I had the sinigang, bbq pork belly skewers, lechon kawali, and sisig. I'm very picky about sinigang but theirs is the best I've ever had! The skewers were delicious. The lechon kawali was so crispy even though it had to survive a 10 mile drive. The sisig was really good too! I usually prefer mine a little spicier and vinegar-y but it was still great. I love all the pickles that come with it too. My family never ate pickles with our meals growing up, but it makes so much sense since filipino food can be so rich.No frills, just tasty food. Portions were really good, especially for the nova area. Will definitely order again!“
