“My partner and I visited Gin Ramen & Asian Tapas on the evening of Monday, March 11, 2024. The host was prompt and friendly, seating us at the bar. We tried the Gyoza, Gin Ramen, and Red Curry Ramen—all of it was not only delicious but also visually appealing. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, making our dining experience very enjoyable. We're looking forward to returning for their happy hour (both drinks and food very nice prices). I highly recommend this spot for a delightful dining experience.“
“The menu at The zemeda offers a delightful fusion of flavors. Each dish is beautifully presented, showcasing fresh ingredients and attention to detail. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian Ethiopian food there's something for everyone.“
“Idk how I went so long having never tried Jets! I attended a football watch party at a friends house (they are from Detroit) and they ordered jets. One slice in and I knew I'd be a forever customer! Sure enough 2 weeks later I found myself in Jets picking up an order placed online. This is the BEST pizza in the area! It's thick and made with high quality ingredients! I will say the night I stopped in the physical shop it was packed! It was a Friday night, and the line extended down the entire shop and out into the parking lot. Even for those of us who had placed an order ahead of time they were running slightly behind getting those orders out so there was a lot of standing around. However, upon arrival, I simply told them I was there to pick up my order and they started working on it right away so that I could grab it quick-ish and head out. I was there for about 10 minutes? Note if you are placing an order online, be advised that the wait will be probably closer to 45 minutes and there's no need to come early because the pizza is not ready LOL. But trust me it's worth the wait and by the amount of customers there I can say that others agree.“
“Used to really like this place but we were denied seating on the patio unless we had a dog. We have two young children and it is much easier to manage them outside and there was no one else out there. Thanks for the quick respons Sisters at Old Town North Alexandria you guys have been one of our favorite places and I hope we can visit again in the future.“
“Probably the best deli in the area.Their prices are quite a bit higher than other sandwich shops in the area, but they use top quality cold cuts. (With a tip, I paid a little more than $30 for two sandwiches.)They still make almost all of the sandwiches that have been on the menu since the old days, but they're happy to make your sandwich to order if you prefer.Busy at peak lunch time, obviously, but it's been deserted when I've been there, a little later in the afternoon, around 2.The staff is very friendly. There are tables inside and out.“
“We frequent McAlister's quite often. The first time I ever had it was in Texas and I was happy to introduce it to my wife. So when we saw them put one in our area we were excited. We've had nothing but great customer service at this location and really appreciate everything they do and all the people that prepare the food. Thank you“
“I feel that barbecue is subjective and kind of depends on your personal preference if you like it or not. My idea of good BBQ may not be yours. That being said... I LOVED this place. My brothers and I were in the area and one has been craving BBQ something fierce. Walking in, the place smells like heaven. We probably ordered way more than we should have because if we weren't hungry before, we definitely were when we smelled how good it smells here. We all ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, soda, cornbread and we each ordered different sides: baked beans and corn pudding, yucca fries and fried okra, and onion rings and macaroni and cheese. We also had a side of coleslaw to share since BBQ sandwich + coleslaw = perfection. You order at the counter, stop to gawk at the biggest selection of hot sauces I have ever seen for sale, grab your plastic ware and fountain soda, debate if you want pickled jalapeños, pickled onions, hot pickles, (hot pickles were AWESOME!!!!!) and then have a seat. They brought us the food pretty quickly and we dug in. We found their original BBQ sauce, found on the counter in a giant cauldron thing, a little too sweet and tomato-y for our likings (although I did enjoy digging the sweet marinated onions out of my cup of sauce, because those were great with the pickled onions and hot pickles), but they had a smoky and sweet one on the tables that we really liked. The onion rings were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and tasted amazing. I dipped one in his macaroni cheese and that tasted pretty darn good too. The fried okra is a huge portion and is also perfectly fried. The yucca fries were also wonderfully crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and not at all greasy. The baked beans are a little savory and a lot sweet. The corn pudding is very soft and fluffy and tastes like a hush puppy without the hard exterior. The coleslaw is delicious. They add super crisp peas and carrots to the normal cabbage. More places should get on this because it adds sweetness and texture and it is fantastic!!!!! The cornbread is amazing! I have no idea how they make it so fluffy and moist but WOW. I may carry honey in my handbag in case there is ever cornbread and I have never been so happy about my weird tendencies because YES!!!!!!! The pulled chicken was juicy and tender and smoky and so good. The buns they use are perfect for standing up to the saucy goodness. We really wanted to try some of their pies and banana pudding, but we couldn't eat another bite by the time we left. The portions were very generous, you couldn't even close the bun around all of the chicken without it jumping ship. You definitely need a fork to scoop up all your fallen chicken, which is also how I like my BBQ... I really wish we lived closer to this place because it was delicious and I would probably feign being too tired to cook dinner at least once a week so we could come here.“
“Tom yum soup perfectly spicy and delicate. Green curry was spectacular. Eggplant was beautifully prepared, both texture and flavor! Standard (medium) was not especially spicy, but just left room for the rest of the flavors to shine. I only mention it, if you like spicy, you might want to ask for it. Hands down my new favorite Thai place.“
“Husband and I both got 2 meat platter because we wanted leftovers. It’s enough food for 3 meals easy. Everything was delicious!! My favorites were the brisket, cucumber salad and cornbread. Donna’s got it going on cause her food is full of flavor!!“
“Stopped for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. 2 BIG slices of pepperoni and a drink for $10 is a fair price especially considering the great quality of the pizza. They make them when ordered so you're not getting slices from an already made pizza. The crust was my favorite part and I usually don't eat the crust. Will be going here often!“
“Excellent customer service and great tasting food. We come here on a regular basis and have tried many different things and they have all been great. My favorite is the eggplant parmesan- so crispy and flavorful. Many other great vegetarian options as well. My partner loves their carbonara and says it is the best. They also always have specials for food, drink, and dessert that have all been amazing. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options“
“The food was amazing but the customer service was beyond amazing every time I go there I get helped by 3 of the best employees 2 females maha, Meron and one man name Edwin . I always want to try new things and I always ask for there recommendations they have never steered me wrong and they always are patient and so kind I love this location.“
“Staff is fantastic! Always courteous with a smile and willing to help you through ordering. The food is always hot and never short on any items. If something is missing or running low they are prompt to replace with new. They keep ordering efficient and moving smoothly so you don’t have to wait. Very pleased customer!“
“Food was tasty, but my wrap was made too hasty. I don't know if my wrap was too full, but it didn't stay together. It was next to impossible to eat while holding. I used a lot of napkins. There were only two people in line behind me. I don't understand why the staff was rushing. My lunch companions claimed to see a mouse scamper across the floor near the entrance“
“Sweetgreen is the best bowl-style restaurant. It’s not only delicious but you’ll feel great after with all the healthy ingredients you’re too busy to make yourself. This location is gorgeous and the staff welcomes you in which is so nice.“
“The pizza at this place is amazing. My friend ordered for our superball events, I loved the test and I stopped by recently and tried the veggie pizza and chicken wings. They were both delicious! The service was great and the owner is very friendly. I highly recommend giving it a try.“
“Katie is the perfect person to have at the front counter! She is bright, cheery, friendly, and just the right amount of conversational. She knows her regular customers by name and greets them personally when they come in. She was helpful when I placed my order, pointing out exactly what would be in my sandwich, allowing me to make a substitution. She is fluent in Spainish and English and easily switches between the two to personalize her customers' experience. She was a delight to encounter.“
“Good food, lots of vegan, gluten and accommodating needs for dietary restrictions. Sort of pricey for noodles and unfortunately redeeming app points don't include proteins, they cost extra so that's sort of annoying. Great staff and weird how good the music playlists are.Vegetarian options: Many different types of meals that don't use meat.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free noodles, zucchini noodles, cauliflower noodles are all options aside from regular flour pasta noodles“
“One of the best Panera in Alexandria, food is amazing. Excellent customer service, especially the young man Adam at the cashier always greeting with a warm smile on his face! Rest of the Staff and manager are really polite and friendly too. Definitely would recommend.“
“Wanted to give a special shout out to this particular potbelly. They have THE BEST COSTUMER SERVICE! Every time I come, they are so sweet and helpful this particular time I was asking about the red velvet cookie and asked the cashier, Camille, what her opinions were. She literally bought the cookie for me just to try and gave the cookie to me just so I could taste it after giving me her review. They always go above and beyond. I go out of my way to go to Potbelly.“
“Small pizzeria nestled in a small shopping center on Commonwealth Ave. Menu offerings consist of pizza, pasta, subs, and kabob. The kabob comes with naan on the side and the generous portion was big enough to feed two people. Call ahead to place an order for pick up or delivery.“
“Potbelly's is always my go to Sandwich Place that offers quick and delicious meals. I wanted to try their new option, "Ring of Fire" and it was amazing! I love a spicy and juicy sandwich alongside a Cold Drink & Chips. Parking is never an issue and Service is great at this location.“
“Some things are good...others not so much. We've gotten pizza here a few times now, and the "NY" style has always been pretty good. The wings are also pretty good...though the sauce falls off, so remember to drag the wing through the sauce that will be sitting at the bottom before consuming. Salad, I had the Greek salad, and it's not too bad either. Now, the "Detroit" pizza just wasn't good. I failed to take a photo, but I'm pretty sure they forgot to add cheese to it. There was plenty of Parmesan, but that's it. I understand that the sauce is poured over the cheese on a Detroit pizza, but I'm not sure it was there or that there was enough. Who knows?!? I'll go back for the other pizzas but if I want Detroit style I'll just make it myself at home in the future.“
“It’s my second favorite Peruvian chicken restaurant, mostly because of the distance from my home. Unlike most of the other chicken restaurants, Sardi’s has a good variety of vegetables, and their broccoli are steamed, not raw. I still prefer cooked vegetables. My favorites are the roasted vegetables and baby corn.Parking: Plenty of parking in front, seems like most people just walk from nearby offices.“
“One of my favorite Halal Platters spot in the DMV. Just got hip to it last night and ate half my food and got full then the other half was finished by my bro before I could wake up the next day. The chicken was on point and the white sauce and bbq sauce are really good and flavorful. Highly recommend. Just got it again for a second day back to back ?“
