We went to Kipling's last night and it was wonderful. We were greeted very warmly and the atmosphere was a lovely, well kept, old tavern atmosphere. We had fries as an appetizer, I had a burger and my husband had a fried chicken sandwich, both on delicious local brioche and with a side of yummy caesar salad. This place is my definition of a perfect restaurant. Cozy tavern vibes, great cocktails & beer list (my old fashioned was "insert chef's kiss"), the grub is decently priced and solid (don't pass on their specials), plus the service is quick and the staff is cool. Literally ditched a restaurant the second night of our trip and came BACK to Kipling's cause our experience was so great. Oh, and the eclectic music mix was the cherry on top.
