“If you are looking for fancy atmosphere, you're in the wrong place. If you want a tasty burrito, give The Firebird Cafe a try. This converted service station is a little funky but I loved my burrito. The rest of my party seemed to really enjoy their food as well.“
“I personally love that they take your order right away. If you go during peak hours of lunch or dinner the turn over for the food is pretty good. I also really like the weekend food options for Friday-Sunday. I've gone other days and didn't have a problem with the food. Just liked the other options offered only on weekends more. Never had an issue with the food.“
“I was surprised by the variety of their menu and very happy with the food I ordered! We had the rosemary chevre dip, halloumi kebabs and Thai peanut chicken tacos. Everything was delicious, and the local beer selection was excellent. Friendly service from Kevin at the bar, too! Looking forward to my next visit.“
“Food made me giggle it was so good. Super friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Overall amazing expereince.*First time eating Filipino cuisine.Ordered Vegetable Lumpia to start. Didn't totally blow my mind but it was tasty, I liked the crunch on the outside and the Atchara (the sauce on the side, a pickled papaya) was a refreshing balance. For the meals we shared the Bicol Express and Tapsilog.I tasted the Bicol Express (deep fried pork stew in a coconut milk, shrimp paste and aromatic spices, orderd with white rice) first and was absolutely blown away. I don't normally like shrimp because of the texture but this was excellent because it had the fresh taste of shrimp without the texture, and then it had the sweetness of the coconut and a little kick to it. The pork was perfectly crispy which went well with the wet stew.BUT THEN I TRIED THE TAPSILOG (sweet-salty peppery beef, crunchy garlic rice, and a runny fried egg) And oh damn... immediately made me laugh I was so happy. The beef was tangy, garlicky, rich, addicting. Then the fried egg dripped into the amazingly garlicky rice. The most beautiful flavors blending into one.My friend took the Bicol leftovers but you couldn't pry the Tapsilog leftovers from my posession if you tried.“
