We couldn't wait to dive into our two picks: the classic Cheesesteak and the all-encompassing Italian--The Works. First up was the Cheesesteak, and let me tell you, it was love at first bite. This wasn't your typical Philly knockoff--each bite was packed with massive chunks of tender, flavorful meat, topped perfectly with gooey, fresh mozzarella that melted into the bread. It’s really high quality cheese. Speaking of the bread, it's made in-house, and it shows; fluffy inside with a satisfying crust, it was the perfect vessel for that generous helping of steak and cheese.

The Italian Works was equally impressive. Bursting with layers of cured meats, fresh greens, and oil and vinegar, every bite was a rich and balanced mix of flavors. It's the kind of sandwich that seems simple, but you can taste the careful preparation behind each ingredient.

Fairhaven Pizza's sandwiches are more than a meal--they're an experience steeped in the warm spirit of this charming town, crafted by someone who truly cares about every detail. Whether you're a local or just passing through, these are two sandwiches you won't want to miss!

“I am a lover of carbohydrates! Bomo diner has the best texture and size pancakes of anywhere eve, no upcharge for maple syrup and the syrup tastes just like Greens. maybe it is IDK! Burgers are amazing and I'm THE pickiest burger eater! They don't turn you away at 1:40 to close at 2, we openly pray and don't feel discouraged, there is so much to say. We love it here. Try it out!”

It was by far a total fluke that we found this restaurant as we’re from Ohio and our cell service and GPS was not working when we stumbled upon the restaurant. The Eggs Benedict ….. perfection. We both wanted nothing more than to keep going back to this restaurant during our trip however we were on a fall foliage trip and traveling around. I will definitely come back to this establishment when I’m VT again!! Bob the cat was pretty cool too! I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner one day and he takes a lot of pride and care on how he runs his business. “This place is it!! There’s a place nearby (#1Chinese) that is garbage. China Wok has incredibly nice people who work there, great prices, and the food is excellent. Wish I could rate this higher!

Vegetarian options: There are so many vegetarian/vegan options. I’m not vegan but was surprised when I needed to look for a visiting friend.

Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating to people who have nut allergies. My friend has a nut allergy and she will only eat takeout Chinese from China Wok

Wheelchair accessibility: I have MS and when I’ve needed to use my wheelchair it hasn’t been an issue at all. The dining area is so open that there wouldn’t be a problem if someone needed it.”
