“Formerly the Mark Skinner Library for 100 years, the building has been creatively reborn(a few years ago) as an upscale art-filled restaurant. Buckminster Fuller designed the addition in the 1960s! Definitely make a reservation as early as you can. A number of side dishes are vegan, and we ordered the ratatouille with bread & greens and the tower of mofungo. Owners have lived in San Juan and impart the tastes and styles of this city into their cooking, a delight. We took food home, very large portions. I wondered if I would have to dress up, but styles are casual in New England, even at fancier places in cold weather, it seems. Really nice wines by the glass and bottle. Friendly service from Keller. The owners invited us to look in the kitchen which used to be book stacks. They still have the card catalog.“
“A second excellent visit to the Reluctant Panther. My dining companion and I shared the lobster and brie fondue appetizer, which could make an enjoyable meal for one. Companion enjoyed her braised short ribs and I had excellent scallops. Ended the meal by sharing the chocolate cake for dessert. Service was outstanding throughout the dining experience. I cannot recommend the Reluctant Panther highly enough. 5 stars across the board.“
“Turkish cuisine in Manchester Center? Who knew? The Kofte was flavorful with light spices but dry and overcooked. The Guvec Stew was terrific as was the Baklava. We had to ask for bread. Wood oven baked it was sensational--but there was nothing to dip it in. Service was adequate. Surrounded by household items was sale was a new experience. We'll go again.“

“Excellent, knowledgeable staff member (Max) re needs for those with Celiac. True, delicious, gluten free options available for brunch. And pancakes with real maple syrup were portioned generously, light, and delicious for a non-Celiac guest.“

“WOW! Absolutely delicious Burmese cuisine! Literally the best I’ve had, and I’ve only had it at BurmaLove in SF. I got the chicken Nan Gyi Thok, spicy and SO GOOD! Such a cute and quaint little restaurant in Manchester, VT! Definitely drop by if you’re in the area!“

“This place makes me want to wake up early for breakfast. The service was great, the atmosphere was cute, and the food made me so happy. The omelette with potatoes was crispy and juicy. The buttered sourdough bread was so savory and then adding their raspberry jam changed the flavor profile into sweet crunch that made me want to order more toast. The French toast was probably the best I’ve ever had and the warm maple syrup which was a new experience was probably the best way to have maple syrup.“

“Depot 62 is in a category all of it's own and difficult to describe. It's like what happens when you just start painting before you have an image in your head, you begin putting color to paper and before you know it an image appears that is beyond what you could have planned. I love the quality ingredients, atmosphere, euro-eclectic vibe and an open-arms small town attitude.“

“Read the reviews and this is one place which was highly recommended by various people. Had to check it out and so we went. Service was first rate. Our waitress was great and attentive. We started with complimentary cranberry fritters with butter. Then a beautiful garden salad with balsamic. With the salad came Italian bread. We had the best lobster Mac and cheese as appetizer. Absolutely fabulous. Main course was pork Schnitzel and my wife ordered baked Scrod. Both great choices. We were both stuffed and had to skip dessert. Overall a very pleasant experience. Great food and amazing service. A must visit when you’re in the area.Parking: Ample space.Kid-friendliness: Not really. Tight space inside“

“Was in the area for a graduation. The Seasons is dog friendly and I had my Lab with us. Maria was fabulous. The food was good. I had the blackened salmon tacos. The taste was spot on with seasonings. Salmon was slightly overcooked. The Wings in the maple sriracha sauce ??. My kids had Tofu Lettuce wraps and a classic burger. I would recommend the Seasons for anyone in the area. Pleasant atmosphere, wonderful staff and great food!! Thank you for your hospitality.“

“Mistral's is the restaurant that my wife and I visit to treat ourselves to something rare and very special. It's tucked away off the main highway, on the side of a mountain, and built to follow the curve of the streamlet dancing alongside it. It just feels so special to walk in. We are always seated at a window looking across to the forest and down to the brook. It's magical, beautiful, artistic and so romantic. The wine list is perfectly selected to provide a carefree point of departure from ordinary life. The appetizers, the entrees, the deserts are always well prepared, pleasantly unassuming, thoughtfully presented, and a pleasure to enjoy. It's all just so lovely and comes complete with a staff that serves with dignity, competence and warmth. It's unlike any place else in an exceptionally good way. It's a treasure that we return to again and again.“

“The Khao Soi Duck was the best rendition of Khao Soi I’ve ever had; the duck in lieu of the usual chicken made it that much more tasty and special. Cocktails are great (stiff pours), service was attentive without being smothering, and the restaurant itself is a nice place to be on an evening in Manchester. I’ll come back again and again for the Khao Soi!“

“It is a family tradition to visit the Marsh Tavern Veranda to celebrate my wife's birthday. This year it was equally enjoyable as past times. Sitting on the veranda in the summer with a view of the Vermont sky is always special. Our lunch selections were quite good. Service is fast and friendly.“
