“I recently visited K.C.'s Bagel Café and had a great time. The bagels were fresh and tasty, with a good variety of flavors. The café has an inviting vibe that's perfect for a casual meal. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend K.C.'s Bagel Café to anyone looking for a yummy, laid-back dining spot.“
“We stopped in on a whim and are glad we did. My friend did the $5 tasting and tried some unique bourbon. I liked the cream liqueur, made with real cream. I found fancy maple syrup and the different colorations are from the syrup being aged in different barrel types. I fancied the bourbon barrel aged maple. We enjoyed talking to the staff members (owner?), who was knowledgeable and gave us interesting tidbits of history. Ask about how Smuggler's Notch got its name.“
“I haven't had subgum with wonton since I left Hawaii, and this was just the taste I remember. Full of meat and fresh veggies! It was fantastic! Will definitely come over here for lunch again. All the dishes were very reasonably priced, too.“

“Had an amazing meal at Thai Smile. The food was very good and it was prepared with incredible speed. As always, had to get a Thai iced tea which was excellent. The server was kind and helpful. The prices are very reasonable as well. If you are in the area, I would recommend stopping at Thai Smile.Chris@ North East Ford“

“Great stop for breakfast and especially pancakes if you are on a visit to Vermont like us. We were so happy to have tried some Vermont maple syrup before our drive to Boston. I paired my plate with a cup of hot Vermont cider that was cozy and delicious. Service was a bit understaffed for the breakfast rush having one person manning most of the dining room. However he was very kind. We ordered a second side of bacon for my boyfriend's pancakes and alerted the server of the same. He apologized and said that he would get it to us but it never came during the time it took us to finish our meals. I will say that one side of bacon ($4) might be enough for two depending on how hungry you are. We were stuffed by the time we were done after eating our huge pancake and sharing one order of bacon.“

“Great food. Sunday night early dinner 5:30. Took 20 minutes to be greeted with 2 small children. Risky. The beer selection was stellar, waitress was friendly, only checked on us once. The food was great. I would go back. Hope the waitresses can be a bit faster next time.“

“Unable to speak to atmosphere as I had it delivered.I am pleasantly surprised by this place! I love that while being in a hotel I could order any pizza as an individual size so I didn’t need to worry about transporting or wasting leftovers, my friend and I could try two different styles and not be over full or break the bank, and it was warm and fresh!!Although they don’t post their deserts online they do offer them. Loved the uniqueness of the hot fudge cheesecake.“

“We were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar on a busy night and were very impressed with the food and service. The bartender (can’t recall her name but she was a redhead) was amazing- super fast, efficient and friendly. We thought the food was great. Would definitely recommend“

“We stopped in for dinner during our trip to Stowe. The food was really good. Our waitress forgot our fries and the kitchen had closed, so that was a bummer. She did compensate us though and that was nice. Overall, it’s worth the wait if you can’t get a reservation.“

“The Alchemist Brewery is a must visit for any beer lover! This is the only location you can order Heady on tap. They have a large green space outside which is great for kids to run around on. Their tour is one of the best I have every been on! Make sure your grab a few 4-packs to go!“
“Delicious food and cider. We will be back before returning home!!!!“

“Came here for brunch on a Monday morning. The food was amazing. You order at the counter and a chef brings it out. There was no one else there which was nice but the place seemed empty and the temperature inside was pretty cold.We got a quiche, the Reuben and French toast sticks for our toddler. The French toast sticks were a hit with our toddler and I really enjoyed the Reuben. The food came on metal plates. We also got two cookies on the way out. Chocolate chip was great.Parking: Big lot on the side and out back.“

“This is a must try spot in the heart of stowe. All the food i bought tonight was amazing, the crispy honey chicken is addicting. The curry is perfect, and the mango lasse is the perfect way to wash it all down. Thanks for all the hard work, we will be regulars here.“

“Best Thai restaurant so far! As an Asian myself, the Flavor was authentic and not lacking- it’s the real deal, not watered-down/fake ingredients. The price was a bit high, but it’s the best Thai food quality you can find in the area. Top-notch. Server was super kind!“

“Ordered takeout here late on a Sunday night. It was quick, and the bartender recognized me from the phone when I walked it. We got the Vermont Woodchuck and chicken tenders - both were packed well and delicious.Only tiny suggestion is to throw some napkins and silverware into the bag for anyone staying in a hotel.Atmosphere seemed cool and would love to come back and sit inside!“

“Our best meal while in Stowe. You should call and make reservations as it is a smaller place. The atmosphere is great with mood lighting, conversation and live music. Great for spending time with friends and family. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered and shared with the group focaccia-brown butter & garlic confit, elmore mountain bread, whipped ricotta, i forestieri olive oil $12, croquettes- sweet potato, green onion, lemon & caper aioli $12, baked brie crème- rosemary, winter truffle, roasted baguette $18, to start. We each got a main dish. Our favorites were the croquettes, gnocchi romania and pappardelle. But it was all delicious. Wonderful ending to our trip.“

“Their Cinnamon Sugar Bagel is my absolute favorite. I’ve been coming here for several years now and i have NEVER been disappointed!“
“Absolutely gorgeous place with views and beautiful architecture nestled in the historic and iconic Von Trapp Estate. Before going any further, a few important recommendations for newcomers: 1. Make reservations. You may make them on the Yelp app. 2. If you don't have reservations, come over early. Like opening time... 3. If your beer taste excludes anything that is not an IPA, you may be disappointed. Their brews are by and large, alpine-style Pilsners 4. They get really really busy. Tables outside the bar areas are for full service only We came here on Stowe's ski season closing weekend, on a sunny day, meaning that by 1030 our quads were screaming in agony from skiing the soft snow that began to feel like cement. With time on our hands, we decided to have lunch at this idyllic property, still in the hands of the original family. We arrived here and were at the door at 11:15 for an 1130 reservation, luckily being one of the first customers walking through the doors. The building is quite expansive, with an imposing alpine architecture that compliments the beautiful Stowe countryside. Outside, the groups of people playing frisbee golf added to the ambiance. We were seated in a beautiful covered porch that winds around the property, with stunning views. Service was flawless, with the waiter filling us on some of the historical details of the property. An advantage of being early, as the place was quickly becoming a beehive of activity. We began our lunch with the Bavarian Pretzels which came with a delicious mustard and I tried the Chicken Schnitzel sandwich washed it down with a West Coast Pilsner, which turned out to be their hoppiest selection, approximately resembling an IPA. Superb time here. The gift shop at the entrance is worth a visit.“

“We had the pleasure of experiencing Greek night at this establishment, and it was an absolute delight. The buffet-style setup offered a tantalizing array of Greek dishes, all served hot and bursting with flavor. From savory rice to succulent lamb and stuffed cabbage, each bite was delicious!! The option to dine in or take out made it convenient for any occasion. The friendly customer service added to the overall positive experience. At $12.99 per pound, the value was exceptional for the quality and variety offered. The cleanliness and welcoming ambiance of the restaurant sealed the deal for us. Very casual! Great for an easy meal after skiing, hiking, or biking! Without a doubt, one of the best meals we have had in Stowe! 5 stars!“

“This is the second time I've been to this restaurant. They are always busy, but no matter how busy always friendly and attentive. Waitstaff really hustles. Highly recommend the Hunan Triple. Lots of veggies cooked just right with Shrimp, chicken, and beef in a great sauce.“

“The ambience was very nice and dining room looked beautiful. The food tasted okay but could have been seasoned a bit more. Our waitress was polite. However, I ordered the trout and instead was served salmon. I was never informed that they had no more trout. The waitress informed me later that no one told her they were out of it. It took a while before I got my food, and my 2 friends had already started eating and enjoying their food. One of my friends ordered beef and she asked for a steak knife just as she received her food. It should be customary to be given a steak knife as soon as food brought to the table. It took about 15 minutes before she received it. I do think there is clear communication and the food could taste better.“

“After travelling for two weeks up the coast from DC and having had eaten everything from fast food to five star I was not looking good forward to another “pub” meal. Boy was I wrong. As a vegetarian I was amazed to see four vegetarian options as mains (many more as shared plates) that did not include fish! Such a unique menu with amazing flavours that all work so well together.I won’t stop thinking about this dinner for awhile and I would highly recommend!“
