“Amazing homely restaurant. Their menu is very friendly for a lot of dietary choices.I wish they also had a spot in Seattle.You could get 16, 24, and 32 oz smoothies here which is awesome. They have salads, sandwiches, sides and kids menu.All of their menu is gluten free and vegan; but that doesn't stop the dishes from tasting amazing.They also have shelf stable and refrigerated food that can be purchased for later consumption.Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu is vegetarian and vegan friendly. Makes it very easy to choose what to get.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free food, oil free food, etc.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu which looks amazing. Theyr kids menu is full of nutritious options. The kinds menu is also suitable for adults.“

“Finally stopped in for a dog this weekend and we were glad that we did! Great hotdogs, great service, friendly atmosphere- pretty much spot on!The Anacortes Dog was tasty and so was the Frito Bandito (love that spice!)- they even had a special treat for our four-legged furry companion. “I love the food here. So much so they catered my reception rehearsal dinner at my wedding. Cannot go wrong with any sandwiches on the menu. Unfortunately lots of other people know this and the line sometimes is out the door, but they work fast and usually you get service in a half hour.“

“We have ordered take out 3 times from Bamboo Bistro and it has always been great. The orders have been accurately filled and on time. The food is delicious and the service great. We especially like the garlic green beans and the shumai. My husband likes the fried shumai and I like steamed. We get both and the beans and an entree to share. We have plenty left for lunch the next day. Love the crisp vegetables and the sauces.“

“Went by here today for lunch. We have driven by so many times but finally stopped. We didn't know what we were getting into so we decided to split a Anacortes dog and a cup of Ivars chowder. The chowder was great as it always is but that Anacortes dog was the stuff hotdog dreams are made of. “The Nest is such a wonderful place to eat! I’ve been here for dinner and then just yesterday for brunch and both times the food and service was EXCEPTIONAL.Yesterday they accommodated 14 of us for a surprise Birthday Brunch and Kim specifically went above and beyond to ensure our mimosas were never empty, that she knew how the check would be split up, took photos of our group, and somehow she and the kitchen made sure all of our food came out within 5 minutes and that all of it was EXACTLY what we ordered and tasty. Best service I’ve ever had for a large group of people.“

“The mango mousse is SO GOOD. I had half a mind to just buy several of them and take them home. The pistachio dessert is also one of a kind! Mouth watering food and exceptional service. The server was so kind. And helpful when choosing food as they had so many options!Other things about it: A decent amount of seating not too much, really cool atmosphere with the frida theme. Definitely NOT budget friendly. Lots of street parking.“
