Having my Bainbridge comfort food spot be a Pho restaurant is kind of like an Andre Iguodala finals MVP - never expected it to happen, but pretty glad it did. “Hey, Thai restaurant specializing in cuisine of the Isan region of Thailand, which apparently features less curries and more grilled meats and spicy salads than the Bangkok style cuisine. Most Americans are used to. The offerings were certainly unique (and the pork jerky was delicious!) but I felt the portion sizes were a bit small for the price. Certainly worth trying though if you’d like to sample something beyond the typical pad Thai/pad see ew!Vegetarian options: There are fewer vegetarian options here(meat dishes are more emphasized in Isan cuisine), but they are available“

“Every dish I’ve had here stands out compared to pretty much every other Thai restaurant. Which is not easy to do in this area. However it does come with a slight price increase that I feel is often worth it, often not always.The inside is on the small side but the layout provides a nice separation that makes you feel like you’re in a larger space. The decor is nice and clean. The materials are fairly high quality. This spot has decent natural lighting, but this does make it feel a bit odd because the day I can was dull and it reflected inside. Meh, I could see my food just fine, just wish they had more lights.Their service is also just ok. Nothing special and far from bad. They are nice. I was able to get seated right away during happy hour. I’ve been here before and also passed by many times and this place has never been packed. Not sure why when they have these amazing dishes. Maybe the price for the area makes this more of a luxury despite being better priced than many of the nicer restaurants in the area.I can say their food taste absolutely delicious. Every meal I’ve had was better than anywhere else in the area. They also offer many dishes I just don’t find anywhere around here. On my last visit I tried the jackfruit salad and 2 different crab based dishes.The jackfruit salad was over powered by the fish sauce flavor and I couldn’t eat more than 2. Needs more salad or maybe something else to help cut or spread the saltiness.My Kanom Jean Numya Pu had amazing flavor and texture, but was for sure not worth the high price I paid. Everything about it was underwhelming but the flavor. I’m glad I experienced it, but wish I had ordered something different.The curry softshell crab was spot on. No complaints with this dish. The proportions made sense and there was actually enough crab to satisfy. Every other dish I’ve had at this location was a similar experience to how I felt about the crab curry. Unique, tasty, decent portion, prices appropriate.I highly recommend planning a simple date night here or even just getting a solo plate. You for sure can find cheaper or more expensive, but eating here almost corrects the judgement bar of what middle quality Thai food is. No this isn’t the most fancy Thai restaurant and no it’s not a hole in the wall. To be honest I’d rather come here than several of the fanciest Thai restaurants I’ve been to. Can’t wait to come back.Vegetarian options: I wouldn’t say they spell it out so much, but they have many dishes that come without meat.“

“I'm no ramen expert, but Arashi is so freaking good! They've been in business a long time, and even though it's pretty much no frills, the service is great and the ramen is just fantastic! It can be hard for me to remember that salty instant ramen isn't what's authentic because, well, salt is delicious - but skip the sodium and enjoy truly flavorful ramen here!“

So many unique dishes (and I’d guess authentic but can’t speak from personal experience), and the staff are so nice — they pack everything in containers and tape them closed, and then staple the bags closed so they’re safe and secure for takeout. Call-in orders for pickup only! Same owners run Pestle Rock next door, and Jhanjay Vegetarian Thai Cuisine Wallingford. Photos of my favorites: KROB KEM: plantain chips! Shaved thin and deep fried with a sweet syrup on top TANG GWA SALAD: veggies, jicama, pineapple, and toasted coconut with lime vinaigrette GUAY TIOW KUAR: stir-fried, wide rice noodles, veggies, and Thai sriracha sauce on the side BA MEE GIOW MUU DANG: ground pork dumplings, egg noodles, veggies, and BBQ pork (soup broth in separate container)“

“There's a little bit of a wait time if you come and order but more convenient to order call or online and pick up. Clean place to sit and eat. Customer service is really good. Kindly double checks on requests without hesitation. Food cooked fresh to taste! Delicious broth for pho and other plates are delicious as well. Definitely comes with a fancy display when you take it to go. Instead of a bag that's all loose, it's in a box all neat and tidy. Fair price for good food. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: For those who allergic to crab or shellfish they can use imitation crab just ask!“

“I love walking to New Leaf Bistro for lunch. I am always satisfied when I leave. Pho is amazing and you can’t beat the Banh mi lunch meal. I always wash my meal down with a Thai Iced TeaVegetarian options: The menu has quite a few vegetarian options. I am sure they are all delicious.“

“This is basically a must go to if you're in the area you basically have to go. They have lychee flavored Moscow mules. They have fried chicken on noodles. Pork pulled pork, fried chicken, vegan alternates for almost every dish there. You basically have to go. I'm telling you right now do not go by this place and not eat there.“
