“Good Lord I don’t know what’s up with these bad reviews because the Teriyaki was excellent!!! Don’t order Chinese Food at a Teriyaki place - Period. It’s as simple as that. But for simple Seattle Style Teriyaki you really can’t beat the price for flame grilled chicken. I didn’t try anything else but Chicken teriyaki and gyoza. ? (I don’t think “Spicy” teriyaki justifies the $5 up charge. And the rice seemed a little on the dry side which is the only reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars. It’s a chicken teriyaki place. Order chicken teriyaki and you’ll be happy. Also look on their website for coupons!!! Saved 20%“
“No frills hole in the wall authentic Vietnamese food. I got bun rieu and I was so surprised it came with real crab meat. My hhusband’s pho tai was also equally good! Come here if you want affordable Vietnamese food! Will be back to try other items on their menu!!“
“The general tso's chicken was very good, great flavor and crispy crunchy texture. Ratio of meat to batter. 10/10 The soup dumplings were also very good! 10/10 The pho would honestly get a 4/10 from me, the broth was pretty good, but the meat was not done with restaurant quality in my opinion, the aromatics were also not looking the freshest and the noodles were a bit soggy. Although the quantity of noodles, aromatics and meat was fair. The seared beef bun was not crispy enough in my opinion, but it wasn't terrible perhaps a 6.25/10“
“This is a very cozy soba restaurant that attempts the fine dining experience. It definitely stands out among the Seattle restaurants in terms of the food. The food is definitely very innovative and the staff provides really detailed explanations about the serving. My only reservation is that the food is not premium enough to be this expensive.“
“This is my favorite spot in Greenwood. The phos and the beef salad are excellent. And, the portions are big. Each time we visit I leave very full. The first time we came on a Friday around 6:30 and had to wait about 45 minutes. Since then, we've arrived earlier at 5:30, and there hasn't been a wait. So, it's all about coming it at the right time. Even if you do have to wait, I think it's worth it.“
“Wow! What an amazing array of authentic dishes. Loved my tea egg and plum juice. The food was so flavorful, spicy, fresh and so tasty! The menu “app” was easy to order from with photos and descriptions, if you weren’t familiar with menu items. Items were well priced as well. This is definitely on my list for every time I come to Seattle!“
“Expect a line because this place seems to be busy every time I pass by. We waited an hour on a Sunday night. Service was a bit slow but their friendliness makes up for it. The food was flavorful and hearty. Would come again.Curry Ramen + Soft Boiled Egg ($15.45) - This was a seasonal product so I’m glad we got to try it. Very flavorful.Classic Rekka Ramen + Soft Boiled Egg ($14.95) - Can’t go wrong with this.Gyoza ($6.75)“
“A very delicious Chinese spicy ramen shop.If you are a serious ramen fan, you will be disappointed here. But if you want to eat a bowl of delicious spicy noodles, this is definitely a good choice. Although the soup of spicy ramen is not full of umami, it really has the numbing sensation of Sichuan peppercorns, which is really good. The barbecued pork noodle soup is also very delicious. Although the signature Malaysian fried chicken is also popular, I personally think it is too salty and drowns out other flavors. Even the spicy noodles have no taste at all.“
“Honestly the most satisfying meal I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. As a vegetarian with an active lifestyle, eating at restaurants can be unrewarding at times - dishes are often either monotonous or lacking sufficient protein. I was delighted to find that the Nasi Lemak was absolutely stacked with wholesome protein-rich ingredients! The meal had peanuts, egg, tofu and chickpeas, and each was thoughtfully and skillfully prepared. And that was just one of the plant-based menu options on offer.Someone in the kitchen there clearly has direct experience with eating vegetarian - I felt very seen and understood by their menu offerings. The culinary splendor was paired with service that felt like a well-oiled machine, and a lively, upbeat atmosphere. I will be back!Vegetarian options: A must-visit for vegetarians!“
