Parking was fine behind and to the North of the building.Food options in Barkley Village aren't great, so would be an appreciated area for expansion.“
“After visiting nearby Marine Life Center with my six-year-old daughter, we found a warm place to hang out in Ponderosa. Here’s our experience.1) Food: They have a food menu with happy hour deals. Stopping in on a late afternoon, we ordered the chips and salsa and the cheese platter for snacks. My daughter loved them both. I was a fan of the cheese with the cherry jam.2) Drinks: I was happy to see cider on their beer list. I ordered an Oregon cider that wasn’t too sweet.3) Service: It was impeccable. It feels like a family and every customer is treated with kindness. Even dogs are welcome!4) Space: It’s a beautiful space with a parking lot and loft seating. Outlets were near the tables so I could charge my phone as I ate.“
“Nice little neighborhood brewery. Great patio /deck on front with a foot truck on site. Has a small vintage beer can collection inside nicely arranged in a enclosed shelf. Nice variety of beers. a very good swag section, however, I went through 6 different t-shirts and there wasn`t 1 large in any style or color. So, they lost a star there. It`s busy, it`s summertime. You have to have this merchandise fully stocked. Otherwise a fun place“
“This is more of a bar than a restaurant. I would go here to drink, not eat. They have a great selection and the atmosphere is... well, like a saloon in an old western film. Nice place to meet people casually.Usually, it's great service; I have been going there occasionally for almost 14 years. On my last visit, however, the lady tending bar was so loud it was like she was screaming just with her regular talking. So loud I had to flee the scene!“

“This is a great little bar with wooden booths and nice dim lighting. I came on a Friday at dinner time for the burgers and it was crowded, but I managed to snag a booth as another party left. Their burgers are best described as greasy smash burgers on the small side. If you have an average American appetite, get two for dinner. They taste pretty good. The fries were sadly soggy though. Order at the bar and they call your name when it's done. The kitchen cranked mine out pretty fast.“
“I was the first person to be fired a few months after they opened over 30 years ago! I was one of original few people getting the place ready for the grand opening. At the time it was the only nonsmoking bar in town and that was a great draw. I remember the opening night quite well - before opening time there was a line up the stairs and within minutes the place was jam-packed until closing.The original owner was kind of a jerk (not just because I was fired!). I guess it's on the 3rd owner now. This was the first time I've been back since my inglorious departure about 30 years ago. This visit - 30 years later, my buddies and I had a great time over great brew and and grub (I had the elk burger). The server was great during our about 5 hours there. I would likely go back in fewer than 30 more years when I make my way back to Bham!“

“We love getting a colossal from McKays every once in a while for silly occasions. They are so massive and just as delicious as their standard pizzas. There was a little confusion with ordering it this time, we called one night before wanting it to ask some questions and they advised we just preorder right then. Then they called back and said they don’t preorder. Then they called the next day and said they appreciate preorders. While a little confusing we were just so happy that we got our gigantic pizza at the time we wanted it. Super hot and tasty!“
“Staff were amazing! We didn’t realize it was St. Patrick’s and there were amazing Irish dancers. Atmosphere was grea. Food was not too salty except chicken wings. Lamb burger, mussels and meatloaf were excellent. In fact we were in Seattle for 2 days and we went there for dinner two days in a row. Thank you!“
“Cannot recommend enough! Checks all my boxes!Dog friendly, great place to watch a game (4 Tvs) and have some fun. Shuffleboard, Pac-Man, and tabletop games. They have Pizza, but also partner with nearby restaurants, including, Maikham Thai which can deliver here for free.“
