“Shout out to my girl Kamia! Makes my drink perfect everytime! So friendly and super fast! This team does such a great job! TIP THEM BIG! They work really hard. They deserve to be rewarded!”
“I love this sweet little coffee shop in the heart of Carnation. They've [semi] recently renovated and added a lot more inside and outside seating, and it looks great. It's comfortable and stylish, and a lovely place to have a quiet coffee.I haven't tried the food here, but the coffee is quality (in the opinion of this coffee snob ?), the staff are welcoming and kind, service is fast, and they do the best Pup Cups! (Be sure to tip well if you get one of these, cos they are generous)There's drive-through service, a small amount of parking directly behind it, there's a group room on the main level, and I think there's even office space or group rooms for rent upstairs (but check with them, obv, in case that's ceased)Parking: There's about three parking spots directly behind the coffee shop for customers, and there's a lot more free street parking nearby.”
“Stopped for breakfast at this classic style cafe/diner. Had a diverse and satisfying menu, portions were large and we split the smoked salmon fritatta which was delicious, lots of salmon! Service was friendly and attentive even when very busy. They have a wall of hot sauce to choose from and great looking desserts. I wish they served real jam not Smuckers. Cute challboard menu. LQBTQ friendly:)”
“Secluded and not right off the road as it's a gravel path to drive in. There were home decor and lavender goods for sale. We came for the wreath making which included a glass of wine. $45 for 2 hours. It's a nice space to host as well.”
“In summer, on a hot day, Blakes is always hotter than outside. It could be over 80 degrees and Blakes will be around 5 or more degrees hotter, I hope they install air conditioning some point soon. I've been going here for years with my family and the food and service is amazing.”
“Happy this place is in carnation. Decent food, good service, I'm a repeat customer. Lots of people order ahead for take out. Not much atmosphere but the people are all happy!”
“The food was good, and the overall experience was entertaining. It was a little odd being the only ones there, but our host was great. Recommend bringing a larger group, but don't be afraid to come with two or three :)”
“More awards than anyone around. Good beer and good people.Vegetarian options: You can take food in there from any of the restaurants around. Lots of veg options next door at ixtapa’s.Dietary restrictions: House made seltzers are delicious if you aren’t a beer drinker. They have wine too.Parking: Gravel lot next door is open and easy to use.Kid-friendliness: No kids allowed, which actually makes it very relaxing.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps anywhere. Awesome access.”
“What a great little gem in a fun town. We had their Pizza, wings, and bread sticks and everything was absolutely perfect with fantastic flavors. The crust was just right, not too thin, not too thick, not too hard. This place has awesome seating areas outside and the inside eating area has big garage doors that open to the outside so this would be a great place to hangout during our beautiful summer days. And even when the weather is crappy, the food here is absolutely worth coming back for.”
“Amazing food and service. You can’t find this anywhere else. Super friendly servers, attentive and fast service. Local and family owned business. Highly recommend!”
“1st time there yesterday afternoon/evening. I went with my wife, sister, and brother in law. We all were so hungry that I forgot to take photos. We had the following: Impossible Burger, French Dip, Prime Rib with horseradish and pour house Pete's burger. They were all really good. The tator tots were really good and so were the fries. My brother in law was in awe of how good the horseradish was. Our server was fun and engaging. I would like to go back and try some other foods. I think I caught that this place is over 100 years old. There were lots of Whiskey options and beer and some wine available. I think there were 12 or more beers on tap.Vegetarian options: No options for vegetarians or vegans here.”
“The restaurant atmosphere was intimate and relaxed. My boyfriend says this was the best restaurant he has been to in a while and he’s very meticulous. He said they had a lot of nice touches to the dining experience. This restaurant is a perfect place for a date or celebration. There are 8 tables in the restaurant so everyone is well care for. I certainly felt attended to and had a very pleasant experience. I left full, relaxed and my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, thank you to the staff! 10/10Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options, gluten free options.”
“Jenny Pho exceeded my expectations in every way! The pho is absolutely divine, with a rich and flavorful broth that warms the soul. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting ambiance, perfect for enjoying a comforting bowl of pho. The service is exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The prices are fair, considering the quality of the food. I highly recommend Jenny Pho to all pho enthusiasts!”
“A solid option for authentic Italian food.Service was decent but on Easter Sunday, the bartender was also doubling as waitress, so when a large group came in with lots of drinks… everyone else was left waiting for too long.Food was above average quality and on the pricey side.Be sure to avoid sitting next to the fireplace; it might look nice but for the few sitting next to it, it is too warm and uncomfortable.I would return but would be trying other Italian restaurants in the area before going back.”
“My wife and I had high hopes for this place when we learned of its impending opening, and we were not disappointed! Their brunch is the best around. I realize there is not much around, but if there was, it would still be great. Really solid place for dinner or just to have some drinks and apps with friends. I would even go here with someone I don't like. The food, drinks and service are all top notch. It's a classy joint without being pretentious (I'm glad spell check corrected how I would have spelled pretentious), but somehow chill and casual. We need more places like this on the Ridge!”
“This is my all time fav taco place, I love their Chicken Tinga and Papas tacos. It’s a super reasonable place for lunch. My vegetarian friends love it too. The only downside is it closes at 4 pm on weekdays otherwise I would be there more often.”
“We were so delighted to once again be able to visit one of our favorite restaurants, now that Covid isn't such a factor. The food was truly top notch, with wonderful sauces and other fine touches. My halibut was cooked just right, moist and flaky, and my husband was thrilled with the seafood stew, especially enjoying the Black Cod in it! You won't find a better restaurant for the excellence of the offerings, and very pleasant low-key atmosphere. We were nicely welcomed and the service all evening was perfect. If you haven't been there yet, I hope you'll give it a try, and I'm sure you'll have a lovely evening!”
“My favorite coffee shop on the eastside! I will happily drive the extra 15 minutes each way away from my local Starbucks for the best coffee shop on the eastside! I love Fall City too! Worth a trip. They are so friendly here and their coffee and baked goods are divine. The seasonal drinks are always worth trying too! ❤️”
“Food and drinks are always top notch, especially the duck poutine fries, brisket dip, or triple pig pizza. Service is always friendly, but can be spotty when it's busy. My only words of caution are: Visit when the weather is nice. Their seating is basically an enclosed patio and can get a little chilly... but they do provide blankets and heaters to try and keep you comfortable.”
“Best barbeque in Washington State, hands down. You get a lot for what you pay for and it's all darn good. The Trailboss (with the jack and cheese and a pickle) is a must have every time I go skiing or pass by Preston. Don't be a hero if you can't handle spice, they certainly won't mess around if you ask for it (but it doesn't need heat to be delicious, so you'll be fine even if you don't like it hot). I could go on, but what I really need to say is: GO THERE, IT'S GOOD.”
“I just wanted to thank the amazing staff at Orenji for going above and beyond tonight to correct an error in an order. We ordered via a delivery app and two of our rolls were accidentally not included, which was somewhat tragic because they were the only rolls that my son would eat. :pHowever, the restaurant staff was amazingly helpful and accommodating when I called about the issue. They offered a couple of different solutions, and in the end gave us complimentary dessert and appetizer and had one of their own workers drive the missing rolls to our house as he was leaving his shift. They couldn't have been more helpful! We've ordered from this place multiple times and this is the first time we've had an issue, so it was definitely just a one-off anomaly. The food was delicious as usual, and I was extremely impressed with how hard they worked to correct the error. We will continue to order from Orenji regularly!”
“I've known Ryan, the owner, for years as YAAMS... and he's made an awesome place for coffee there in Redmond. Hires good people, makes better coffee than any place around, and carries his cool and easy vibe. Worth the drive!”
“Great food, we went during rush hour and service was slightly scattered during the first half of dinner but they managed it well by the end. Would visit again (but recommend having a reservation)”
“THE GRACIOUSNESS OF THE OWNERS AND THE AMAZING FOOD KEEPS ME COMING BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN. The Halibut and the bolonaise is to die for, nothing is overpriced and the wine is lovely! You feel the warmth of this place as soon as you walk in.”
“Classic Gyros is our favorite go-to for to-go! Just love their food and the staff are always super friendly. We especially enjoy their Greek Chicken Sandwich and their Mixed Falafel Sandwich. The authentic Middle Eastern food is delicious and the portions are generous.Parking: I have always been able to find a spot.”
“I know they don't take reservations, but I called a week in advance to let them know there will be 12 (seniors a driver and chaperone). When we arrived we were welcomed warmly. The waitress was only 2 weeks in there. She was awesome!!!! We had separate checks. Food was amazing! Burgers, fish and chips, deep fried pickles, Brussel sprouts....I could go on. She and her coworkers keep water glasses filled, napkins, to go boxes. Great place to go. Seniors approved!”
“Broke da mouth good!So ono!Malasadas, poke, mochiko chicken all delicious.Atmosphere felt like I was in Kona. 70 degree weather and sunshine helped.Kid-friendliness: Great for keiki”
“Ordered a shake and these days places love to give you fake, almost chewy whipped creams but not here. You get the real stuff. Icecream was great. The shop is cozy. Excited to make this our regular spot for icecream in the summers!!”
“Excellent, fresh sushi and sashimi in a cosy atmosphere with warm and authentic service from the passionate owner. Highly recommend the specialty rolls for price and quality! The hot food is great too!”

“We had an amazing experience here. We came during the Super Bowl and the owners were having a Super Bowl party with family and friends, but they made sure that we were having a good time and felt included. Went home with three Cabernet and Bee & Barrel.”
