“Got there about an hour before closing; by then the “rush” was over. Plenty of seating available and Mary’s service was upbeat and friendly. To keep us close to our $20 date night, we split the Scrambled Mix-up with sides of hash browns and sausage gravy. Super-generous portions of hash browns; 1” deep side of browns that filled half of an 11” platter when paired with the sausage gravy.Very delicious cheddar cheese scramble!!Thanks for an ad hoc first time visit! Found out that Raging River is a favorite of our family that lives nearby.”

“Right by the river our first time here at El Caporal in a historical building..Great service..friendly and attentive our server was taking care of everybody with a smile.. and the food is so so good, that I ordered an extra plate for home. We had Chile Relleno and Carne Asada... very yummy. Next time when we are in the area we will be back for more..Gracias El Caporal.”

“My family went for my birthday dinner and everything was delicious as always. The hours are super short these days and the prices have gone up quite a bit as they have everywhere. That said, if you want a delicious, high quality ingredient meal, it's absolutely worth making sure you can get there when they're open.”

“A solid option for authentic Italian food.Service was decent but on Easter Sunday, the bartender was also doubling as waitress, so when a large group came in with lots of drinks… everyone else was left waiting for too long.Food was above average quality and on the pricey side.Be sure to avoid sitting next to the fireplace; it might look nice but for the few sitting next to it, it is too warm and uncomfortable.I would return but would be trying other Italian restaurants in the area before going back.”

“We love Southfork! It’s a favorite spot for delicous food, kid friendly environment and a cold beverage after a hike in North Bend or skiing at the Pass. It’s a crowd pleaser too - usually everyone can find something that they like on the menu.”

I realize there is not much around, but if there was, it would still be great. Really solid place for dinner or just to have some drinks and apps with friends. I would even go here with someone I don't like. The food, drinks and service are all top notch. “Best barbeque in Washington State, hands down. You get a lot for what you pay for and it's all darn good. The Trailboss (with the jack and cheese and a pickle) is a must have every time I go skiing or pass by Preston. Don't be a hero if you can't handle spice, they certainly won't mess around if you ask for it (but it doesn't need heat to be delicious, so you'll be fine even if you don't like it hot). I could go on, but what I really need to say is: GO THERE, IT'S GOOD.”

“Volition Brewing is one of my absolute favorite places! I’ve met and become friends with some great people through their events. Having pinball in the taproom is such a great addition and such a fun thing to do while enjoying the best beer around. I can’t recommend this brewery enough. The staff is so friendly and there is always something to do while there, board games, live music, the artist alley and pinball. Such a fun and inviting place to hang with your friends and enjoy beer!”

I'm here right now and they are jamming some Wham!, so the tunes are pretty sweet.Lots of outdoorsy books, trail maps and gear. It's adjacent to a ski shop which is pretty cool, unless you have no sense of wonder and like to complain about everything.There is not a lot of seating, but it's a cool little cafe with a lot to offer.”

“Been coming here for the past couple years ever since I moved out to the area. The food is always hot and fresh and they are always consistent. I recommend the following dishes: spicy chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, beef teriyaki and the yakisoba and miso soup. Hands down the best teriyaki spot to go to in the Valley!
