“A small group of us visited (for our first time!) for my birthday breakfast. We anticipated that it would be busy and decided to show up right as the staff opened the doors. We promptly got a table and the server was cheerful and eager to answer our questions. I always appreciate recommendations, which she shared. We started with the honeycomb toast which was incredible. Then came the crab mac....that was also delicious!!! All the other dishes were well seasoned and thought out. I loved my crab eggs benedict!! All of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there!! We have each reminisced at how delicious the food and drinks were and are already planning another visit. Thank you Martini Brunch!”

“Huge fan. The food was absolutely excellent. This is a vegetarian review. We had the pineapple fried rice with tofu and the Khao soi. The pineapple fried rice was delicious and a clear winner! For appetizers we had the fried spring roll and for dessert- mango sticky rice. The mango sticky is rice is a seasonal dessert as per the menu. The mango served to us at the end of April was perfectly ripe and sweet. What a blissful dish. This is a very popular place. We went for weekday lunch and got seated after about two minutes. I could see there being a wait during weekends or evenings. The decor is quite cute with many pictures from Thailand and Thai cuisine. Wipa seems to have an interesting story as well which is you can read on the website. The service was fabulous. We ended up with a mix of two servers but both were kind and thoughtful. Prices were a bit on the mid to higher side but that may be the standard for a high cost of living area. And also this place is rated so highly that it may indeed be what customers like us are willing to pay for.”

“The food was good & the worker was all alone. She works very hard i hope she gets enough appreciation. She gave us a punchcard for the wait time which was only 2 minutes, she was so sweet! I ordered the bubblegum raspado & vaso de elote and they were both so good”

“Cute place to grab a quick bite. Food was fresh and tasty. It is not a sit down restaurant. You order your food at the counter. They will bring it to you when done. The tamales are outstanding!! Busy location as the food is good and the prices are reasonable.”

“This place is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall. No tables, only a counter with 7 seats so a lot of customers do take-out. The had more workers (8) than customers (7). Ordered our favorites pad see ew and yellow curry. Food was ready in 15 minutes and we headed to the nearby park by the river to eat. Pad see ew was excellent. Good flavor, beef was tender and I even liked the veggies. Wife loved the yellow curry. Good portion sizes.”

Wonderful customer service, great portions, clean kitchen, and clean aprons... all things I look for having been in the food industry for more years than I can count. “This food will hit the spot! The fresh hand cut fries are really good and the large size are a really big portion compared to most places you go. When I walked up yesterday there were a lot of people in line so I was expecting a long wait but I was surprised by how fast the ordering line moved and how quick they got the orders out. I will definitely be going back again.”

“They had a large tea selection, a cozy atmosphere, and were very friendly. Me and my daughter had a great time having afternoon tea here. They had the option to replace the tea for hot chocolate making it kid friendly. The food was also delicious and so fresh tasting.”

“I enjoyed the food here! Definitely expensive, but honestly one of the only good places to eat after the tulip festival, and I'm sure they know that too.I got the pollo a la parilla and it was delicious and kept me energized for the rest of the day.Service was quick and food was relatively quick too.I'd definitely recommend if you don't mind paying the extra cost. Check out the donuts across the street once you're done.”

“Delicious and well varied menu with a delightful amount of in-house products and ingenuity, all designed to go great with your beverage of choice.Clean and well served, always.Come here in the summer and find a seat in the back to get the full Trainwreck experience as your silverware shakes from the train passing by a mere 20 feet from the building. There’s nothing like it for that.Parking: Park at the public lot just west of the bar, there is always space there and their own dedicated parking between the building and the tracks is the bumpiest gravel lot you ever did see :)”

“We visited at the Tulip Festival Street Fair, so everything was outside. We got a plate with 4 different dishes. I liked 2 of them a lot, a third was decent, and one was meh. I'm sure it would've been amazing inside the restaurant with more control over food temp as well as order timing. The order came in chunks so there was a wait for the fried foods. Waiting for those meant not eating the order stuff while it was hot. Anyway. Street fair food isn't as great as controlled in a restaurant food.”

“The Pollo en Mole was so good, I even dipped my Birria tacos in the sauce. This place is definitely authentic and the best Mexican restaurant in Whatcom County that I’ve been too. Seriously, it’s my new favorite. The corn tortillas and salsa are made fresh daily. It’s totally worth it.”

“I came here after visiting the tulips in Mount Vernon a few days ago. It was mid afternoon and nobody was in line. We ordered the jalapeño ranch burger, western burger, large garlic waffle fries, and a peanut butter strawberry shake. The total came out to ~$40, which is pretty pricey for grab and go burgers. Overall, the food was yummy. The burgers were flavorful and juicy. The garlic fries were very good and I liked that they were made with fresh garlic and herbs.”

“Amazing food with tremendous service! Go hungry because the portions are huge! Can easily split a meal. Cheap prices too. This is just the Mini Belly Buster and a Half order of biscuits and Gravy. The full Biscuits and Gravy is two of these massive biscuits. We still took home a 1/4 of the pancake and the biscuit”

“Best place to get some breakfast. We combined this place with the Skagit Tulip farm. Lots of options and chatter. Looks like a local favorite spot. It does get pretty crowded though and so service may get a bit slow. But food was fantastic. Had to park a little away and walk to get to the diner.Parking: Free street parking or park a little ahead near the library.”

“We had to look around to find staff to take our order but the food was excellent! We had gyros and onion rings . Gyros were delicious with lots of meat. Onion rings were fresh batter dipped not frozen. Very reasonably priced! They will definitely get our business again when we are visiting Sedro Woolley.”

“This food is AMAZING! If you know anything about anything related to the cuisine of Mexico, you will recognize that this is a star! The tamales were transcendent. The quesadilla redefines what that food should always be. I will make a special trip all the way from Seattle to come eat here again.”
“Have always loved Pasek Cellars. Used to live in the area, now visit when we are in the area. Their flagship wine (Cranberry) is an absolute must for Turkey dinners (Thanksgiving or Christmas) the other fruit wines are unusual, but delicious. Their Cabernet is delicious, Syrrah is different, as a bit sweeter, very fruit forward. Their Chardonnay was a very pleasant surprise, steel cask aging, slighty high residual sugar. Muscat Canelli was an absolute joy.Pasek is famous for their fruit wines, but they are no slouches with their grape varietals. If you like desert wines, or port, they offer very affordable, delicious options!”

“We stopped in as a group and we were seated right away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was amazing! Half of us had the tortas and half had pizzas. Great beer and cider selections on tap. We'll definitely come back to try other stuff. The building is charming with it's big bay windows, which are able to be opened. The atmosphere was great, we really enjoyed dining here.Kid-friendliness: This is the sister bar to Train Wreck, which is 21+.”
