“Wow what a great experience! Originally I was easily able to reserve a table for 15 people a few weeks away from the day.. and did not need to put down a deposit. A week before.. I just called to confirm for 12 ppl now and they easily changed it. On the day of the dinner.. we didn't wait long and was seated in a upper corner area which was intimate and cozy. Our server Isaac B. was sooo amazing. He was funny and patient with our group. Always had a smile on his face and cracking jokes. He really made our dinner extra special and even remembered my friend's birthday. He was patient with all the orders and separating the check was a breeze. Best customer service we have had in such a long time. Thanks Anthony Edmonds and Issac for a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend this place especially for a large group!“

“The Ivar's clam chowder that is mass produced and sold in places like Costco or even at the Ferry does not compare to the one that you get from Ivar's Seafood Bar. Another highlight that me and my wife love is the grilled Halibut with salad. We keep coming back.“

“I don’t understand the low rating on this place. We tried their cod fish and chips and it was delicious, prices are competitive and the staff is friendly. We will definitely come back!We came on a Monday evening and the service was pretty fast.They offer a variety of beverages and the place has outdoor and indoor seating.“

While I did love the old spuds it was so great to see them reopen in the old location with the same vibe and menu!The fish and chips were spot on and was awesome to see how many regulars were coming in and out the storefront.Totally worth the visit if you’re walking around green lake.“

“I ordered the fish & chips, prawns, and smoked salmon bisque. I arrived to the restaurant with only one person behind the counter and he served/prepared everything. I really enjoyed the fish & chips and prawns as the breading was perfect where it is crispy and thin. I wish there's a bit of seasoning or salt on the fish but overall wonderful texture of the cod. I'm not a huge fan of the smoked salmon bisque as it has a sour taste to it which is not what I expected. Would come back and try their sandwiches.“

A little on the pricier side for the average dinner, which makes it better suited for a special event or night.Food is absolutely delicious, with generous servings of free bread and drink refills.Scallop Ravioli was INCREDIBLE. “Dude, this spot was totally gnarly! Super chill vibes, not crowded, just how we like it. The grub was epic! We drove like, three hours from Portland, but it was totally worth it for the food. The music was totes laid back, and the whole vibe was just chill, yk? We chowed down on some killer calamari, salmon chowder, and cod fish and chips, and lemme tell ya, it was primo stuff! Like, seriously, freshest seafood I've had in ages, and it came out in a flash. Stoked we found this place and I def recommend!!“

“I honestly love this place. The staff is always so helpful and kind. Food is par for the course for Ivar's which is excellent. I always get the Cajun fish and chips and occasionally some of the white clam chowder when I'm feeling extra.“
