“Nicki’s Bella Marina is one of our favorite places in all of Whatcom county. It is one of those places where the waitress calls you Hon, there are scraggly fishermen at the bar, and the fish and chips are the best I’ve ever had. You’re always welcomed in like your family, served quickly and with a smile, and you can’t beat the food. It’s also a wonderful place to walk around after you’re stuffed and check out the fishing boats and the yachts. “We went back again today and last time I said everything was perfect except for the coleslaw so imagine my delight when I get my food today and they’re using a different coleslaw recipe and it is LOVELY! I was so very happy. Two thumbs way up for the new coleslaw recipe. The fish, chips, and tartar sauce continue to be perfection so this was just the perfect way to round out my combo. “The Hallibut Fish and Chips was not as good as the Go Fish in Vancouver, Canada, but the atmosphere and service were great. The Schooner docked at Port was amazing to see. The views were excellent. The best part is to have the option to eat inside and avoid seagull bombs. Overall, it was a really great experience.“
