“If you’re interested in an “old-fashioned” eating experience, this is for you. Appears rather well-used, even run-down. The greeting was genuine, service was well-practiced, the food was exactly what we expected at what today are reasonable prices. What more did we need? Not a thing.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Seems fine for accessibility“

“A hidden gem in the Seattle area. Perfect for date nights, family nights, and all around any time you want a great meal with great service. The menu is always short but never simple, with a variety of Pacific-inspired delicacies. Don't forget the caramel tart - perhaps the best dessert ever created.“

“The flavors were amazing. We had the risotto, and I've had similar flavors but never in a pasta. The nettle with the chestnut was such a unique but still familiar combination. The butter and sage pasta was a little on the salty side but the butter flavor came through prominently. The cabbage rolls were definitely my favorite though. They were sweet, savory, and overall really well balanced with good texture.“

Our server Leah did a tremendous job taking care of us. She was very attentive and made great recommendations. She suggested trying the Joey75 cocktail and it is now my favorite cocktail. I strongly recommend eating here and hope you get Leah as your server!Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices for any dietParking: Easy parking in the garage next doorKid-friendliness: Definitely kid freindly“

“1st time dining here, went with a coworker for a beer and appetizer and ended up adding an entree. The restaurant was 60% full. The owner came over and greeted us immediately because he recognized my coworker. We ordered the chicken wings appetizer and a beer. The wings were so good, we both ordered the ribeye which came sliced and super tender. Served with veges like if we were in Thailan and not the American potatoes. I walked away satisfied and not stuffed. This place is a hidden gem.Kid-friendliness: A few tables with kids.“

“Kenny was our server and he was awesome. The food was fantastic and we got so much for the price (the biscuits and gravy are to die for). Kenny seemed to be the only server at the time (around 12:45-1:00pm) and was working all the tables calmly and efficiently. He was personable when we talked and was extremely polite.I am a server myself, so I tend to be pretty judgy about the service I get when I’m out, but I was genuinely impressed and pleased with my experience. We are definitely coming back to this cafe!“

I hope they stay for years to come!Dietary restrictions: Very friendly and helpful when speaking about dietary restrictions, even though it was busy.“

“Delicious food including some dishes not available at other Seattle Vietnamese restaurants, such as the amazing Pho Sate. As a celiac, I felt safe eating there as the servers were thorough in identifying items that are cooked in the shared fryer and this aren’t safe for celiac eaters. (They mentioned they plan to purchase a separate fryer in a few months so that their many gluten free apps can be eaten by celiacs.)The restaurant was also very kid friendly. We will be back soon!“

“I don't want to tell you that these are the best breakfast sandwich's in Seattle...... but they are the best breakfast sandwich's in Seattle. The only reason I don't want to say it is they will only get busier. Pro tip- order your food online 15 minutes before you get there and you will be happy. Apparently the coffee is very good too but I myself only go to eat“

“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!“

“La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de conocer el restaurante, fue una experiencia buena, el servicio, la comida el ambiente, pero hubo algo que si me gustaría que lo consideraran, yo tenía ganas de probar el chile en nogada y me encantó pero para mí no fue suficiente como porque el chile no va acompañado de nada creo que ese arroz que tienen estaría muy bien para acompañarlo porque para mí no fue suficiente comida, de ahí todo lo demás estuvo excelente.“

“We came to see if the Shamburger can beat out Flint Creeks happy hour counterpart… it was a really difficult call: both burgers were great. So we call it a tie! The Shambles though wins hands down for the non-meat options. Mushrooms fries Caesar cauliflower steak olives pickle awesome. The pear pie a delight!“

“My gf and I have been here twice. The first time, we tried the yellow curry which was fantastic. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Our second visit entailed trying the pad see ew with chicken and gyoza, both of which being the most flavorful and delicious we've ever had. The noodles were properly marinated and the broccoli had a pepper taste which complimented it very well. To wash it all down, we had thai iced coffee which was the smoothest and perfect amount of sweetness we've ever had. We're ecstatic to try the fried rice options next time. This is now my go-to Thai restaurant after searching for four years!“

“I had a hard time deciding what to order from the menu because everything sounded so amazing. Went with the Albuquerque crunch wrap and it surpassed any expectations I could have had for it. I’m sure the rest of the menu follows suit. Highly recommend trying this place“

“This place is a dime! Upscale Mexican restaurant is a thing. No chips and salsa, unless you order it, in which case you get three salsas and guac. But they do give everyone a delicious little tostada with beans, and it's great!! They have a full bar, and all of us were very satisfied with our wide array of orders. I had a burrrrito with the steak, and the protein was high quality and very well cooked. Highly recommend! Also friendly and professional staff!“

“First time trying and OMG sooo good!!! Inside is kinda small but open seating that like opens it up so it doesn't seem as small. I had the spicy chicken sandwich combo with the like first notch of spicy and it was just right!! Chicken is juicy and huge piece on my sandwich. Fries were excellent. Definitely going here again. Must try if you haven't!“

“Had to check out the falafel and here's my review... I'd like to state up front that as someone who lived in Israel for years and has always been very critical of "hippie" falafel and most Americans attempts which always seem to include lettuce, which has absolutely no place in a falafel, this was as close to an authentic falafel that I have seen in the western states. That being said, I found no reason to go back. Been there, done that. (Although it is a Hummus Bar and I didn't bother to try that because I make extraordinarily good hummus at home.) I've been avoiding bread on my new diet but was intrigued that there was a new source in town for fresh pita, which can make or break a falafel sandwich. I tried to secure an end to taste, (the top section that is cut off to stuff the pita,) the ends are traditionally tossed but my attempt was rebuffed by the staff who claimed they used them so I went ahead and ordered the "stuffed falafel" sandwich. What I got when I ordered the Stuffed Falafel was better than any pita I've ever had in Seattle, but it wasn't up to snuff with a traditional pita. It was too bready and airy for me, but it held together very well, when it was completely full of all the ingredients and sauce. Everything inside was very yummy, a great tahini sauce and tasty falafel balls, though I thought the falafel was a bit under-cooked and soft. The mix of cucumbers, tomatoes & Israeli-style pickles was great but there was none of the expected red or purple cabbage. The waitress claimed that there was cabbage in there but it was white, but I couldn't taste it at, a definite let down. At my favorite falafel shops in Jerusalem and NYC you load your own veges and choose your own sauces and I always go heavy on cabbage & pickles. No problems though, I wolfed it right down... :) I also tried a side order of חצילים and it was good, but nothing to write home about. In conclusion it was the best falafel I ever had in Seattle, but I'm still looking for that completely authentic falafel shop to come around.“

“Oh wow! How did I just find this place out? Its amazing!!! Everything was simply incredible. The food was perfect. Roti Jala very tasty as a starter. Then we ordered the chicken which was super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. We also ordered the laksa noodles which was heaven and we also got the ribs. Please order the coconut shake and the passion fruit green tea. Wow wow wow! We will be back for my birthday with our friends!“

“The Guest House is an exceptional dining establishment, especially welcoming for large families with children. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated at a spacious table that comfortably accommodated our sizable group. The ambiance was cozy yet lively, perfect for both adults and kids. Our server, Anthony, was outstanding. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive and friendly, making sure that everyone, especially the children, felt at ease. He provided coloring paper and crayons for the kids, a thoughtful touch that kept them entertained throughout our meal. The menu offered a delightful array of options, but the highlight was undoubtedly their pizza. Each pizza boasted a perfect blend of crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, and a generous array of toppings that catered to both traditional and adventurous palates.Throughout our meal, Anthony's service was impeccable. He ensured our drinks were refilled promptly and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, all while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.“
