“4 star review is amazing for a "quick service" restaurant. The cooks are fast, and only turn food as fast as they can make it. I am impressed. It's nothing exciting. Just go old comfort food made fast. I have eaten here many times. The Hawaiian Short Ribs are on point. The portions are big. Most everything is modestly priced.The full sized entrees are big. The ala carte menu which is your very basic burger, shrimp, cod, salmon ect... and a ton of other items is the real gem. The double cheeseburger I got was less than $8.00!! It was massive and hot! Came with, iceberg, white sweet onions, a thick tomato, pickles and a burger sauce and American cheese. It was simply made but a great classic dbl burger for under $8.00 and worth every penny.The fish sandwich/burger, same setup minus cheese and burger sauce then add tarter sauce. I was a butterflied piece of white fish, batter-fried when I ordered it!Everything is fresh and I will keep coming to a hearty, good, cheap lunch here!*Service is good and fast, the place is in a strip mall in Kent. “Ate at their food truck. Everything was phenomenal. Their spicy beans were the best beans I've ever had, easily. The meat (all 4) was delicious without sauce, but their BBQ sauces were awesome too. All the other sides were great too. Definitely worth trying out if you like good BBQ.“

I get three a little bit of roughness around the edges but the guy preparing your food, running the register, taking calls, and cleaning is the man that owns the restaurant. “I've eaten at the Federal Way location many times and always get the chicken Katsu which has ample portions. I was disappointed at the small portion served at this Kent location. Not sure if it's just this individual location or just how they serve it now to trim expenses. I'll ha e to go back to the Federal Way location to verify this. But the food was good.“
“A must try! One of my favorite joints in the NATION. Burger was amazing, wings were to for die for, but the homemade sourdough pasta topped with brisket was the game changer. Every visit has been 10/10. Great food, tasty drinks, nostalgic music, and friendly service.“

“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)“
