“Great little hideaway in Keyport for excellent and authentically prepared South of the Border foods. The service is very quick, friendly, and attentive. The dishes are prepared with flavor, best in the area.”
“A hidden gem right off the Bainbridge Island ferry with no wrong choices. Want a cheaper drink or some food? Take advantage of happy hour! My only gripe is that it feels a little pricey, but it feels worthwhile!”
“Juicy J’s was incredible. We showed up right at closing and instead of turning us away, the made us an incredible meal. The burger is one of the best I have had (plant based or not). You gotta give these folks a try!”
“Incredible tasting sandwiches! Highly recommend the spiced chicken and the beef! My son said the beef with Thai basil was the best sandwich he’s ever had and he’s 6! They were all delicious. A great addition to the expanding food scene on the island. Don’t forget the scrumptious salted choc cookies!”
“Seabird had incredible food and cocktails. It as so fun to take my Pescatarian sister to a restaurant where she could eat everything on the menu! The menu changes with the seasons, but favorites included the 50 carrot mezcal cocktail, a flight of oysters, the ceviche, and rockfish. I was impressed with the balance of flavors in the drinks and dishes. Also noteworthy was the play with texture in the meals. Our bill included two cocktails, two mocktails, three oysters, a salad, ceviche, two fish entrees, an espresso, and a dessert. I was floored that the bill came to just $100/person for two people before tip. What excellent pricing for such a wonderful fine dining experience. Highly recommended! Will go again!”
“We ordered a dish that we wanted to have a bit more sauce. Everything is made to order and would have taken a minute. Another order was placed for Tikki Masala and they made extra for us. Little things make a business shine. Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner.”
“Excellent food, never disappoints! Cant go wrong with the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Also love the Bollywood music videos playing on the tv, never a dull moment!Vegetarian options: Can get anything with no meat!Dietary restrictions: So many optionsParking: Lots of free parkingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly”
“TLDR; super long and slow lines, really nice pastries. When we got here (9.30am), the line probably had 7-8 groups ahead of us, and it took us about 20 minutes to get to the front. I got the savory croissant which was overall pretty quite nice. Unfortunately it felt a bit oily (not buttery) to me - I let it sit in the paper bag for a couple hours, after which it was perfect since the bag soaked up all the extra oil/butter.”
“GFC is my go-to resource for excellent coffee. The website, customer service, beans, shipping and coffee mugs are all top notch. Agate Pass is my favorite blend. Seabrook Blend is also delicious. I've been ordering from GFC for over six years. I'm staying with them.”
“I had the best time here as I always do. So fun to learn about all the amazing flavors and the process on how they make the ciders. Such interesting people and conversations to be had.”
“Got here 20 minutes b4 close this time so they were out of poke ?. But been here 6 times b4 and it’s always been fresh and decent size portions. Highly recommend!”
“Take away food that is wholesome, flavorful, and filling. Don't waste your money on corporate junk fast food. The Saucy Sailor is a restorative that will return you to health and vigor.”
“Oh my goodness, soooooo good!!! They sadly were already out of ribs when I went, but their BBQ chicken was tender and soooo good. 10/10, the serving sizes are perfect. The person taking orders was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about the food when I asked questions.”
“If you're visiting Bainbridge Island and are a fan of Vietnamese food, I would recommend a stop here. (If you're on foot, just push yourself to venture a teeny, tiny bit past the main downtown area.) We had the shrimp spring rolls, grilled beef banh mi, special pho and strawberry banana smoothie. At the end of the meal, my kids asked what was in the "magical" smoothie and the food. (Basically, they are endorsing everything we had.)”
“Best restaurant in Bremerton. Hands down. That's saying a lot as I've never had Korean food before and there are many fine Hawaiian, Mediterranean, Tex-Mex, and East Asian restaurants in this town, and even a few good hamburger joints. But this is the best.”
“fabulous selection of baked goods. Fresh daily. So good. Their only flaw is that sometimes they are so popular that they have a line and so they might run out of things earlier in the day. But sometimes, I can walk in at any time of the day and get some of my favorites. ( of which there are many). highly recommended.”
“The chai was okay, but the pastries we got were so good. The cheesecake has a much thicker crust which I prefer and the flavors tasted like a crisp fall day. We also got the chocolate croissant and a blueberry muffin. All very good, and good value. Plentiful seating indoor and outdoor.”
“Got here 30 minutes after opening and the place was nearly full, pastries almost all sold out. I ordered a mocha and a cheddar muffin. Both were delicious, and I enjoyed a quiet breakfast in the back corner.”
“3/31/24: After reading about the soft opening of the second location of Khao Soi, I made a beeline to Bay Street in Port Orchard to enjoy a delectable lunch. I had been sad at losing Bay Street Bistro but sad turned into glad as I dived into Massuman Curry with an iced Thai coffee. Kudos again to the owners for providing an excellent meal in a lovely relaxed setting. I was dining solo, and was perfectly comfortable reading my travel book. The soft music enhanced the warm atmosphere and the beautiful decor provided plenty of eye candy. My only regret was not ordering my curry with more stars (I’m always conservative starting out with 2). I could have easily done 4. The iced coffee could have used a tad more coconut milk for my taste, but it was delicious nonetheless. My new favorite restaurant and quite the gem!”
“Lone star has the best customer service! Went into the Silverdale location on my daughters birthday to get her some birthday donuts & they gave her a HUGE birthday donut cake for FREE. There donuts are yummy & delicious. No complaints about this donut shop. 10/10”
“My daughter and I just had such a great experience. I got the turkey pita with waffle fries and she had the BLT - there was lots of meat on both and were SO GOOD. The veggies were fresh and the waffle fries were super hot and tasty. My oatmilk mocha was perfection - very smooth. Every person working there was incredibly sweet and the restaurant was very clean. We will be back for sure!”
“4.5 stars - overall reasonably priced with great food and atmosphere.Recommend:Softshell crabs - did a great job on keeping the crispness without infusing too much oilRib stew - tender and flavory. Used sweet potato instead of common potatoes. If the rice is less sticky, they’d be perfect together.-0.5 for the fried shrimp noodle — shrimps are fresh and chewy (in a good way) but I couldn’t taste the sea with that much seasoning. I understand the bak choy is a good balance for salty noodles and shrimps, but they don’t quite go together.”
“We really liked eating at this place as the food was delicious. Really good authentic Italian food made from scratch. The place itself is in sort of a shopping center, and it has a main entry area that sort of like a store. There’s also an outdoor area that’s shaded pretty nicely. Lots of artificial plants although some are natural living plants, but it looks good. The store has all kinds of cool little items for sale from authentic foods and ingredients to drinks and more. The customer service was OK. They were nice, but not as friendly or accommodating as we hoped. The food on the other hand hits the spot. We really enjoyed the meals with a glass of wine. I recommend this place to others who are looking for great Italian food.”
“Great spot! Good food - especially the pork belly. They also have a good menu selection. The artwork inside is awesome, from a local artist who cares about the community. The loaded queso dip was great!”
“OMG good food! The only place I've ever been where they ask how well you want your carne asada grilled! Pork Carnitas that are out of this world. You order at the counter, and sit at a table with a roll of paper towels for your napkins, so don't come for the atmosphere. But if you're looking for 'comida bien rica!' this is the place!Vegetarian options: Beans rice chili rellenos nd cheese enchiladasKid-friendliness: It's very casual and no frills. There is a kids menu and I saw a family eating dinner with their kids.”
“My daughter and I came after seeing a play in Seattle. She picked the restaurant and the food plus service was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant”
“Excellent donuts. Fast and friendly service. Great selection. Buy local! Love the chocolate sprinkle.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options, but no gluten free.Kid-friendliness: Display window is the perfect height for kids to pick out their favorites.”
“The barista made me a half sweet mocha, and he stated he added some additional cocoa to it so that it had rich flavor without being too sweet. It was perfect!! The best mocha I’ve ever had! This shop is cozy, has fantastic customer service, and makes great coffee. I will definitely be returning!”
“Got the roasted red pepper and hummus on foccacia asked instead of cheese to add sauerkraut they said sure!!!!! Best sandwich ? ? ? ? Ive had in a really long time. Thank you gals your the best and so nice ? Love this spot. little pond is the best with running water sound so peaceful!!!”

“It's a Subway, on a base that most of you reading this probably don't have access to. Which means that it's clearly, a very exclusive Subway. It serves stereotypical Subway foods, but it FEELS better than most Subways because most of you aren't allowed there.”
