“Wow! What a sweet little place! The woman who served us was knowledgable and so friendly. She made our first experience here very pleasant. The Sweet Bliss original was HUGE and delicious. The small red velvet ones were also tasty. As an added bonus, not only is this little place cute from the outside, but it also has a very cozy little area right inside with a couple small tables to eat at.“

“This is our favorite stop in Kingston every time we are there. The apple fritter is so different and better than any fritter I've ever had. It's crispy and crunchy on the edges and soft in the center. It's a dream. It's closed on Sundays so we have learned to double our order on Saturday so we can have it on Sundays too. We might have a problem haha“

“Food: we stopped by this quaint town of Port Gamble. Didn't even know this place existed! This is a place NOT to be missed if you are in the mood for sweets. We wanted something sweet and looked up this place. Super cute town driving in, beautiful view of the water. We ordered : the almond raspberry cake, strawberry shortcake, lemon bar, and lemon cheesecake. The almond raspberry cake was so moist, not overly sweet, fresh whipped cream, fresh raspberries, and topped with some crunchy almonds, just the right amount of sweetness! Strawberry shortcake was just like grandma made it. The strawberries were just the right sweetness, fresh whipped cream, crop lu shortcake made the right way so it socks up the strawberries goodness! Lemon bar was sweet and tart equally. The crust had the right amount of crunch and buttery goodness. Lemon cheesecake was creamy and lemony dreamy! Service was friendly and helpful. They were quick and super patient as we decided what to get. This cute old gas station like spot had a nostalgic feel. Definitely will be back for their food and more dessert!“

“Went to Sabine Cafe for a quick afternoon bite with my teenager. We chose some appetizers to share off the menu: fried cauliflower, whipped feta with veggies, and the Za’atar fries. The service was friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly, too.The food is middle eastern influenced. My teen didn’t like the tahini and feta flavors, unfortunately. ? She made the most of it though and ate some of the food… but just didn’t love it.Personally, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and outdoor glassed-in dining area, but also wasn’t blown away by the food we chose. “Crown hill is an interesting neighborhood that intersects with greenwood and Ballard. Those neighbors have distinct identities and therefore are a bit easier to find expected cultural interactions. Turtle coffee provides a quiet and kind space that gives pause to most of the less approachable spaces within north Seattle. The barista was patient with her greeting and presented all of her establishments options with an efficient kindness. I don’t know if I’ll have many reasons to come to consider crown hill, but if I ever want to spend time at a coffee shop, and enjoy a place for coffee standards, atmosphere and comfort in a building. Turtle coffee will be the space for me. I’m glad I have a new home for all my coffee needs. The right place for someone to feel okay coming out of their shell“

“Larson's for the win!! My goodness the assortment here from cookies to cakes to breads, they have everything for your sweet tooth. I needed a cake on a Monday and it's not very easy to find very many bakeries that are open on Mondays let alone after 5pm when people are getting home from work. I ordered a red velvet cake and got a big one, which worked out well for me, because that meant we got to eat this delicious cake for multiple days. Even two days after purchase, it was moist and delicious like you could eat it with the back of a fork. They personalize the cake to my husband's birthday.“

“Yummy molten chocolate cakes. We got the strawberry one, and the jam added necessary tartness. Loved the mix of hot and cold with the ice cream on the side too. It's definitely rich enough that two people can share one dessert! I just wish there were more non-chocolatey desserts for people who don't like super rich chocolate. They had two seasonal ones on rotation, but I wasn't really keen on either of them (some kind of cookie ice cream sandwich and a monkey bread I think).“
